As always excellent work, unlike most of the competition Paul Hellewell strips down a lot of the internals of the oven to get to the awkward parts, i.e. taking off the oven door, removing the fan etc, OvenU are by far the best most consistent oven cleaning company, absolutely worth the extra money. I highly recommend him to all my friends and colleagues.

Saw the ad in the village booklet and our oven was a state that I had no elbow grease for. Got a quote within 24 hours and he came out the following week. Adhered to covid restrictions at all times in the house. Very friendly and professional.

Now, the oven is immaculate. Honestly it looks like a new oven. He took the door off, stripped every thing down and cleaned every little part. Put it all back together and checked everything was working as it should do before he left. I'm very impressed and I can't fault the service.

I've read a few reviews of people complaining about the price of their local ovenu, and yes there probably are cheaper out there, but you get what you pay for. For the £60 I paid, he was here a little over 2 hours it's definitely worth it and I think priced very fairly for the amount of work that has to go into it.

If you are considering using them, I'd highly recommend.

Following on from my previous review I have contacted other companies and have had very competitive quotes and excellent service. This company wanted to charge me £90-100 per single oven and gave he high pressure selling about what they do to clean ovens and not letting me get a word in. The company I hired were OvenClean and they charged me £85 for 2 single ovens. This guy is a total RIP OFF merchant and I would advise you to shop around. OvenClean are an excellent company that, like others, own their own business as opposed to CleanU who use subcontractors and cream off a substantial profit!

Dean was local and popped in to have a look at my issue. Despite being very very booked up, he squeezed me in and did a fantastic job. My oven was smoking eye watering fumes, now it’s utterly spotless. I can’t rate the service highly enough! Very much would recommend!

Elliott cleaned my Neff Hide & Slide low level oven beautifully. He was masked up and kept to the strict Covid rules here in Solihull. These oven doors can be notoriously difficult to remove but no problem for him whatsoever. Another company had tried - but failed to do it.
So now it's like brand new again.

I was quite ashamed of the state of my oven but wow after Peters visit its like new , fantastic job ,very polite and kept to the social distancing and wore a face mask, the job took 3 hrs to do so well worth the the money

After moving house last week, we found our oven had been left absolutely filthy by the previous owners, to the point where it was not usable. I am absolutely amazed at the results from Michael at Ovenu in Crawley, it looks brand new. I couldn’t be happier, thank you so much to Michael.

We have been using Ian, our Crawley Ovenu rep for severaly years now, once every 6 months and we can thoroughly recommend him.

A gentleman from this company visited my elderly & vulnerable parents property to clean their oven.

Upon arriving and as with anyone visiting their house including friends, the man was asked to wash his hands which he declined saying he had already sanitised them in his vehicle.

Following this, he set to work on the oven but was not wearing a mask. When challenged about this, in a perfectly polite manner, the man collected his tools and left saying only that they should find someone else to do the job.

I do not understand what upset this man to this extent or why he was not even prepared to discuss the reason for not wearing a mask in a customers house but he was not interested.

We certainly will not be using calling upon OvenU again in the future. Disappointing after having used them for many years.

This operative turned up to clean my oven but advised me that the oven in question was going to be very difficult to clean because of its age and various faults.
Following a conversation, I said I would get a Bosche replacement and that he would replace and remove the old oven for £50. He called a 'mate' who does this kind of thing every day and said it was 'easy'.

The new oven arrived and he came and attempted to 'plug it in' - this fitting the product. He had apparent problems with the current into both plugs, but left me with one which appeared to be working.

An hour later the oven was as dead as a doornail.
He came back and faffed around with the plugs but didn't do anything of import to ascertain what the issues might be.

When I EVENTUALLY managed to get hold of the original oven provider, they moved heaven and earth to replace without huge delays from the manufacturer while they assessed whether there was a real technical issue with the oven.

The operative didn't take the old oven away as agreed because he 'couldnt get it in his van'. I was relying on this service agreement because I have extensive arthritis in my hands and back.

I was therefore left with having to dispose of this oven alone.

Ordered a new oven from another provider and decided to check the plugs out. I found that by flipping the master current switch, everything got live again, and at least 6 appliances I plugged into where the over was connected to were fine.

When I contact Richard, he was highly defensive, difficult and just nasty. I think he thought that this was going to be an easy bit of cash.

He wasn't up to the job, he's cost me a fortune in phone calls; and didn't grasp his ineptitude and the huge amount of stress cause.

I would strongly recommend that you find ANYONE else when it comes to oven cleaning. Because the man is opportunistic and very, very unpleasant in his approach when challenged.

Thank very much to Paul, for my lovely sparkling Oven. It literally looks brand new! Social distancing observed and a professional job, no mess. We have used Ovenu (Warrington) before and we definitely will again.

My oven looks brand new, it’s amazing. We adhered to social distancing rules (and I realise the oven is in my home, but we weren’t in the same room, windows open, he wore gloves, mask, used own tools etc). Paul was polite and friendly, he left no mess left behind, the products used were all child/pet friendly too.

I have been using Ovenu for quite a few years now and Kerry for two visits. A wonderful job, no fuss, no mess and my oven is left looking brand new. Would recommend her to anyone. Well worth the money!!
