Paloma health were excellent all the way through. We had our assessment report for our little boy around 2 months from referral. We found them to be very understanding and they were very good with my son during his assessment. We had Hayley during our parent interview and she was really understanding and supportive and made us feel very comfortable and made us feel we could talk openly about our struggles without judgement and it was the same during our outcome appointment. Would definitely recommend Paloma health and would have no hesitation to use them again should we decide to look into ADHD assessment. Thank you

Very quick waiting times, very friendly staff and no travelling for appointments as it was all done virtually.
I’d researched the company thoroughly before asking my gp to refer my daughter as the wait times seemed to good to be true but the whole process start to finish was less than 3 months! I now have a daughter that is understanding her diagnosis and getting support where it was needed

We were recommended Paloma Health by the GP when exploring Right to choose. The process has been smooth from start to finish. We were kept up to date throughout with multiple emails and good communication. The forms were easy to complete and very thorough. The parent interview was with Steven, he was understanding, empathetic and he listened to everything I had to say. Having a child who highly masks at school comes with a worry that their struggles at home wont be seen or taken into account, but this was not the case. I knew my son would be anxious during the in person assessment but Chris, the assessor was patient and understanding. He engaged my son by using his known interests to make him feel comfortable and at ease. The appointments were made quickly and our outcome report came back within 3 weeks. The report was very in depth and came with advice on what we can do next to support our child. Although the online enquiry form worked well for us, with responses coming back quickly, an available phone number may be helpful. Overall a brilliant experience in what can be a confusing and difficult time. Thank you.

We were given a choice by the GP and after reading reviews on Paloma Health decided to go with their assessment route. What could have been a very difficult time turned into a very supportive, helpful time with a lot of understanding and guidance. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team. Thank you 😊

Paloma Health has been a fantastic service for us. They have offered support both online and in person from the moment we were referred to them by our GP. My daughter can be incredibly anxious and her assessors, Katy and Christopher, were fantastic with supporting her and making her feel at ease. The whole process from start to finish was only a few months too which has been such a relief as we were expecting a long wait time for a formal diagnosis. We are so grateful for all of their support along this journey and can’t recommend them enough. Thank you!

We have our son’s assessment back in March and was told he did not meet the criteria. Although he did hit on a lot of the criteria he was too spiky to be given a diagnosis and we were told to go back and speak with our local speech and language. Although we expressed our disagreement with the report as it was very contradicting Which has further been back up my speech and language .

We asked how we could appeal this but were told we needed to go back to our local authority to do this. We have since done this after doing what was suggested to be told this is not the case and now our son is once again left in limbo. We were mis advised by this company and now leaving my son with out further support or help.

I had both an Autism + ADHD assessment with Paloma for my boys.
The first was for my youngest son, who had an Autism Assessment back in March 2026 with Jessica for the child's face to face appointment - she made him feel so comfortable, she even let the appointment run over by around 20 minutes knowing he struggled with transitions, we couldn't have asked for anything more for him, she was so attentive and understanding of his individual needs. Lynsey was our assessor for the parent interview via video link, again, she couldn't have been a nicer person to talk to, reassuring us every step of the way.

The process was smooth from start to finish, the referral from the GP, the forms for myself, the school and the third party, the regular email updates and appointment notifications and the online portal, which included reassuring modules explaining the process from start to finish. I simply couldn't speak any higher of the service and care we received during his Autism assessment and honestly found it so safe that I waited until they opened the ADHD process to bring my eldest over to Paloma rather than choosing another provider, which I could have done.

The ADHD pathway under Paloma is obviously a very new service and has had some minor teething problems, such as the portal not being as accurate (appointment history, etc.) HOWEVER...
I still absolutely loved the service Paloma provided! I can see the potential of how the ADHD referrals will run, as I have experienced a clear and easy system through the Autism process, but they are making tweaks and changes constantly and can tell this will be equally as easy as the Autism pathway very soon!!
For my eldest's ADHD assessment we had Claire, who did his assessment and the parent interview via video link all in one appointment (we loved that this meant it was all done in one go!) We didn't feel rushed or pressured into answering any questions, and if we did not feel confident in anything we had asked her, she did her best to reassure us and give as much information to us as possible. The outcome report did come in the morning of the outcome appointment, however, like I said before, its teething problems and honestly, it didn't bother me. I had time to read though, make notes and still be ready for the appointment.
I asked what felt like a million questions, again, I never felt rushed! We ran over on my appointment and she asked if she could call me back after her next appointment to continue, this was amazing! She made me feel so reassured and helped with answering so many questions, not just around the medication appointment that would be approaching given his diagnosis, but also the questions I had around school, EHCP's and other pathways this now lead us on to.

Claire really did go above and beyond for me and my son, and honestly I would feel so confident if I ever needed another appointment with Paloma. They are a wonderful company, with so much care and passion for getting the right support to the right people. I recommend them every time.

Excellent service from start to finish and the fact my son could do this online via video link was a lifeline for him .

From start to finish Paloma Health were fantastic from first logging onto to the app, then face to face appointment for my child and then online consultations. They explain every thing in excellent details and are a brilliant service. I would recommend them 100%.

I would highly recommend Paloma Health. From start to finish, the whole experience was excellent. I felt listened to and taken seriously, and I never felt rushed or judged. The assessment was thorough, professional and compassionate, and I felt that my daughter was seen as an individual rather than just a list of difficulties.

The communication throughout was brilliant, and everything was explained clearly. The whole process was handled with so much understanding and kindness, which made what can be an emotional and overwhelming experience much easier.

I’m so grateful for the time and care that was taken to understand my daughter and her needs. We had a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend Paloma Health to other families going through the assessment process.

I chose Paloma Health for my 11 year old daughter's autism assessment through right-to-choose after being on the NHS waitlist for over a year. They had the shortest waiting times and offered in-person observations, which suited her situational mutism and high levels of anxiety. The assessor (also a qualified occupational therapist) was incredibly patient and understanding of my child's needs. My daughter didn't say a single word throughout the observation, so they let her write down what she wanted to say, which made her feel more comfortable. The parent interview was very thorough and the assessor listened to my thoughts on the possible diagnosis. The final report gave advice on where to find more information about the diagnosis and also suggestions for further assessments and therapies. Overall it was a very positive, validating experience for our family and I would highly recommend the clinic for a child's autism assessment.

The process from the very start to finish was so easy to understand and proceed with. Having the option to choose a virtual assessment alleviated travel fears for me and anxiety of being physically face to face for my daughter. She was extremely stressed the day before the assessment but once she processed it and we set up the laptop on the day she was calm and found the process so much easier that she had anticipated. The parent virtual chat was calm and easy to engage with. The assessment report was remarkably quick and it was great to have the follow up video call to discuss the report findings. I have 100% recommended this to other parents I know that are trying to navigate getting their child assessed. Thank you Paloma Health.

I would not recommend this company, particularly for complex young people with varied profiles or those who are highly masking.
I found the assessment process extremely disappointing. For such a complex situation, I did not feel that the assessment was anywhere near thorough or rigorous enough. It felt very surface-level, with insufficient consideration of inattentive behaviour and traits, and I felt that important aspects of the individual’s presentation were overlooked.
The written report was particularly poor. There was very little depth to the findings and, in my view, the difficulties were largely bundled under already diagnosed conditions without adequate explanation of how the conclusions had actually been reached. There was little meaningful discussion of the complexity of the situation and very little evidence of a nuanced understanding of the individual’s presentation.
The report was then sent to us approximately four hours before the follow-up discussion. This gave us virtually no time to properly read, process and understand the findings before being expected to discuss them.
When we raised multiple questions and asked for clarification on points within the report, we also made it clear that we were considering making a complaint. We were subsequently discharged from the service. Given the circumstances, this was extremely disappointing and left us feeling that there was no meaningful opportunity to have our concerns addressed.
Overall, I felt the assessment was inadequate in depth, the report lacked proper reasoning and explanation, and the way our concerns were handled was extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise anyone considering this company, particularly for a complex or highly masking young person, to think very carefully about whether this is the right service for them.

Amazing experience for myself and my daughter, smooth running, efficient and non judgemental, consistent communication throughout and made both of us feel at ease

Thank you Paloma for helping us get to a diagnosis with our son. We had a few issues with communication early on, but once these were resolved the team pulled out the stops and gave us the time our son deserved in order to help us with a diagnosis.

Terrible ongoing experience with my daughter's ADHD referral. I had a query regarding the amount of work required by the third party that the form asks for details of.
I've sent two queries and received no response. I sent a complaint and still no response.
Most importantly, they are impossible to contact with no phone number, so you have to use their online form, which seems to just be ignored.

Edited: paloma health have been fantastic with my son, they rearranged his hybrid appointment to online with no trouble. They have been excellent and straightforward to use. I highly recommend.

Great experience, highly professional and fantastic with my child on the virtual pathway. I was amazed how they got him talking and to open up and I expected him to shut down. Extremely quick waiting times. Can’t recommend enough and would use again if needed.
