The worst control panel on the market!
Doesnt work , not intuïtieve , whole interface unclear where to find a simple setting. And go on ...

I am using the the plesk Administration, too. The Provider is Wint.Global.
I am using Drupal and automatic updates. But they do not work!
The Problem is, that the 2 latest coreupdates of Drupal are not offered or installed automaticly or manually in the plesk administration.
Wint.global says there is no update given by Plesk then. Is that a joke?
WHY?
Why can plesk not answear a simple Question where the updates are!
I do not want to have hackers because of this misfunction. And Need answears!

Please add SSL to all Plesk login pages (port 8443) and mail.example.com for mobile connections / and other remote devices of the clients

This panel has everything, BUT LACKS of the essentials

and the languages are paid subscription ... where this has been seen in these times ... it seems an absurdity.

In other words, you pay a month on average about € 36 / license + € 18.11 / 3 additional languages ... so that in the end you will be saving customers with SSL security notices ...

I am really very impressed of the great advances and improvements that were implemented in the last v. Plesk Onyx (Docker, Node.js, Apache & Nginx server improvements) ... in this regard I congratulate you

5 years ago I left Plesk for these reasons, I saw the improvements, I thought that these problems were solved ... but I see that no ... it will be that I made a bad decision to have used the Plesk panel again ... or not !?

Been running on a VPS and dedicated server for years and it's only getting better and better.

The addition of adding extensions like Wordpress does with plugins is amazing. Always secure and updating, the perfect web server software with a powerful and easy to use GUI.

We are a web development company and have to deploy lots of web servers for client projects. In many cases these severs are plain VPSs hosted on cloud services like AWS Lighstail. Previously we spent a lot of time building these VPSs from scratch which was not only time consuming but also sometimes doesn't have the optimised setup. We tried some admin panels in past like webmin, cpanel. But Plesk Onyx is just way ahead from all of them. It has helped us streamline our DevOps. Even with so many options it has a very clean UI, optimised web stack (NGINX and Apache), great documentation and support. Thanks to Plesk Onyx have been able to rapidly deploy Wordpress and RubyOnRails applications at scale. I highly recommend using Plesk Onyx if you are deploying a new VPS, especially if you are using AWS Lightsail or EC2 instance, its just a breeze.

The good?
Clean control panel, a lot of options and possibilities.

The bad?
Support has become worse recently. Though it does not matter that much as we don't need support that lot in general, but might become a real issue soon.

The ugly?
Well Plesk recently increased their pricing, as others have pointed out already. Our company is not a big company and the increase of the costs (almost 600%) forces us to drop Plesk completely and move to a different solution.

We contacted Plesk several times about this, but they stated they cannot do anything for us. In the past Plesk showed the ability to think along, but since they become a seperate business (?) nothing is possible anymore.

Well it was great when it lasted. I hope the management Plesk will reconsider their pricing in the near future, as there are a lot of customers who are "leaving" Plesk over this new pricing scheme. Their forums are full of negative remarks about this.

One final note; we even contacted our so-called "partner succes manager" with Plesk, but he told us the exact same story. Nothing can be done or changed in regards to the new pricing. So it seems the only way to success is to leave Plesk permantly.
