firstly, their next day delivery ordered on a weekday 6 days ago has not arrived
secondly it is impossible to get through to customer services on the phone.
i will not order from them again

I purchased RT64 linen twist trousers and I wore them once and they are unwearable after one time. I requested my money back but I was only offered a gift for the same amount.

Placed an order 2nd if Oct. Rang today ,seems their 'transition' system lost the order.
No email,
I think despite the high prices they are cutting back on service.

I’m not sure what the trend is with this ‘charity shop’ essentially. The clothing was in epically bad condition. The shoes had dust on them. Every thing was about to fall apart. I don’t understand the concept, if they want to make it a museum they should do that, but the items are not in good enough shape. I keep items in my own closet in better condition. I suspect this place pays ‘influencers’ & models to take pictures in their clothes in order to promote their store. They can attempt to sell this place however they want, I know the quality, location and price - for an old t-shirt (not even high end brand in bad condition) for $£600 and up will fail. The lady assisting was very sweet, but I have to say unfortunately for her, this store was pictured in vogue, which drew my daughters interest, but none of the items were age appropriate, which was not the shop assistants fault, the owner should have a greater understanding that this store is advertised to young girls, but the items are not intended for young girls, due to the quality being so poor. They need a new social media engagement team. It was obvious the draw was towards young girls, but then the items were in such bad condition & this shop has no experience with young girls, which is fine, but if the owner is attempting to draw in individuals who will spend money, the owners in lala land. Don’t waste your time, it’s a nightmare to get to, there is nothing else around this place, it’s in a small area, so I assume the rent is quite low. My grandmother has items in far better condition than this. I’m sorry but most of the items are pretty gross. I don’t mean to be unkind, I just don’t want anyone else to waste their day in London at this place. The other issue is much of what they are pushing are items that were previously in the y2k trend- but that ‘trend’ is over, and what you are left with are someone’s dirty old clothes. You have to make an appointment. Just take it from someone who traveled countries- this place was not it. You would not see this stuff on the runway. Fur jacket was missing substantial amount of fur where your neck would lay. I can only assume all the items that were once good quality enough to sell had been sold, and this is what is left. I don’t mean to be rude, just honest. Don’t waste your day here.

Ich gönne mir jedes Jahr zum Sommer und zum Winter ein paar wenige schöne Stücke und bin jedes Mal sehr, sehr angetan von der Qualität, Passform, Farben, Versand, ggf. Retoure - einfach alles richtig gut. Die schlechten Bewertungen hier, kann ich absolut nicht nachvollziehen.
Btw: Für etwaige "Datenschutzprobleme" kann poetry nichts, die kaufen doch auch nur Daten ein. Man muss halt immer und überall schauen, ob man ein "Häkchen" zur Weitergabe der Daten zu Werbezwecken setzten oder rausnehmen muss.

Catastrophically bad clothes. The linen turns into a see-through, stiff and rough sack material, after ruining whole machine loads of clothes with excessive amounts of fluff. The hemp t-shirts turn into rags. Too bad to even give to Oxfam. I was a fan of poetry in the past, but now the catalogue together with the clothes go straight to the bin.

Extremely quick delivery and beautiful summer clothes . I live in poetry linen in the summer, it launders well and gets better and better with wear. The colours are always subtle and interesting. It might be a bit transparent in some colour ways but with half the population walking around semi- naked does that really matter?

Ordered two linen t shirts which I had high hopes for. Sadly had to return them as they were scratchy , stiff, practically see through (navy and dark lime green) and not as cool against the skin as I had hoped for. Honestly I have bought better quality from Amazon Essentials and M&S at a fraction of the price. Very disappointed as I have previously bought a winter sweater which was beautiful.

I bought three linen tops which I did love to wear but each top, even though I washed so carefully, developed holes quite quickly.

Zudem hat das Unternehmen meine Adresse unautorisiert an das Schwesterunternehmen wrap-london weitergegeben, von denen ich dann weitere, unerbetene, Werbepost erhalten habe.

Have just received a beautiful yellow linen dress that was reduced to £99.00. The linen is good quality, heavy, prewashed, opaque in sunlight, hangs well and fits loosely. Perfect for our Scottish heatwave! I suspect I shall wear it rarely in Scotland but continuously on holiday.

I was so excited to get my clothes from Poetry—I'd finally given in to the higher pricing—but the jackets and dress .... turned out to be just okay. I was so disappointed. The fabric quality was okay, and the returns were impossible. Bummed :(

I bought one item as a present and then I get bombarded with multiple different branded catalogues that are clearly from close associates. You unsubscribe from one and then another appears with much the same offering under a different brand. It’s an awful waste and makes you really question what kind of markup goes into the offering in the first place.

I have 3 shirts from Poetry that have become oddly faded/discolored over time. While these shirts are not new there is no reason for this to have happened to them. Laundry directions have been followed and yet my grey shirts (2 totally different styles and fabrics) have weird pink discoloration and my light blue shirt are turning a sad grey. Poetry explained that it was bleach (it is not) and that there is nothing they can do for me. So I have $300 dollars of sad shirts that can’t be worn.

Never bought from them, somehow they’ve sent us a catalogue, tried to message them to get removed from their distribution list but in order to do so, I have to give them personal information - email address etc. Terrible approach to dealing with the public.

I recently purchased this item in Khaki Brown and thought for £350 it would be of good quality. Frankly, I was shocked. Despite having a detachable lining, strangely the hood was unlined and felt like a sheet!

It was poorly designed and the whole coat felt like cardboard - Buyer beware!!

Poetry is hit and miss. It's very expensive for what it is. I bought a top from them for £169. This is quite a lot of money for me to spend. It shrank on a 30 degree wash. I am so frustrated. I have bought other things that have been ok, but generally hit and miss.

Ich weiß nicht, warum ich immer wieder E-Mails von diesem Shop bekomme, obwohl ich dort nie eingekauft habe und mich auch nicht für deren E-Mail-Marketing angemeldet habe.

Hab mir den rosa lavendel farbenen Cardigan mit Frontreissverschluss in 42 bestellt. Hab mich schon vorher auf dieses Teil, nur wegen seiner Farbe, gefreut. Es kam heute an und ich bin sehr begeistert. Feinster Kaschmir und auch in der Größe sieht es einfach nur gut aus. Es hängt nicht labberich runter, sondern sitzt locker und es sehr wirkt edel und doch auch gleichzeitig lässig.
Kompliment an Poetry - gutes Händchen bei der Auswahl.
