I telephoned regarding a car I had seen online and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful.
Due to workload I was unable to visit the car personally and Chris kindly sent me a video of the car.
Delivery was arranged and the car arrived just as expected following conversations and video.
The delivery man was very good and took time to explain features etc of the car

What a fantastic experience I had buying my dream car. From sending a message to the quick response from Chris to arranging a viewing was flawless. Chris was accommodating when I couldn’t get there in the time we had arranged. On arrival was offered refreshments. Viewing the car I was not pressured in any way, was left to look around and decide without the typical salesman speech.
After sales was great too. What a lovely pair of gents running the business. Would highly recommend this garage to anyone.

I started looking for the right car in October 2024.
One of my very specific requirements was that those I wanted to buy from were competent, trustworthy, and available to answer my questions without making me feel like I should already know the answers.

I found the car I was looking for at Precious Metals in Wakefield after months of searching online. I got in touch right away, and Chris answered with the details I requested. In short, I was driving my new car home within the next 72 hours.

Would I buy another car from these guys? ABSOLUTELY!!! Mat and his team made buying my car a really great experience. Mat's enthusiasm, attention to detail and customer service is brilliant. I saw the car on AutoTrader, sent Mat an email and he phoned me within the hour. Talked me through the details of the car, no hard sell and said he could have it delivered in te next couple of days. Mat's colleague Iso dropped off the car, he even got it cleaned in my home town just before he handed the keys over - great service. Iso took me through the controls and set up my mobile etc - really nice guy. These guys love what they do and are passionate about cars and great customer service!

From the moment my wife, Sam, and I arrived at Precious Metal in Wakefield, we knew we were in good hands. We were greeted with a genuine Yorkshire smile from Mat, who was an absolute star – so kind and incredibly friendly, he instantly put us at ease. It was also lovely to have Chris pop in to say hello, you could tell straight away that these two brothers run a proper, trustworthy business.
Having seen their fantastic 5-star rating on Trustpilot, our expectations were high, and Precious Metal certainly didn't disappoint! The premises were immaculate and very presentable, and the customer facilities were spot on – really nice and even felt a bit like being in someone's home. Matt even made us a cracking cuppa coffee, which was a lovely touch and very much appreciated.
The whole process of buying our new car was so easy and straightforward. We spotted a car we loved, and just a few days later, we were driving it away! There was no pressure, just honest and helpful service from start to finish. What really stood out to us was the genuine kindness of Chris and Matt. It's little things like that that truly make a difference.
Honestly, by the time we left Precious Metal, we felt like we'd made new friends. DJ and Sam, two warm Yorkshire folk, can wholeheartedly say that our experience with Chris and Matt was exceptional. I’m absolutely in love with my new car! I found my new merc on autotrader and Mat was so helpful throughout the whole process and has been there pretty much 24/7 to help with all of my requests and silly questions. He has really gone above and beyond and also reunited me with a sentimental item that I’d accidentally left in my old car that I traded in! I would 110% recommend precious metal to anyone who is looking to buy or finance a new car. They really are one of a kind! Thank you all so much!

First of all the car is brilliant, a really good quality car, exactly as described - thank you!
Service. Mat was engaging and really helpful in the lead up to me getting ownership of the car - always on the end of a phone if I had questions, sent extra videos of the car, flexible on delivery, just fantastic.
On the day of delivery the car was perfect, but unfortunately I had a problem with my old car that was due to be part exchanged. Mat offered to take this to a garage and have it looked at. It was a very stressful situation for me and Mat went above and beyond to get it all resolved - a breath of fresh air > problem solving rather than problem creating.
Now the car has been fixed and all is sorted and everyone is happy. I'm loving the car and don't intend changing it any time soon, but when I do I'd definitely use Precious Metal again to source the next one!

Having owned my Jaguar F-Pace for 8 years and clocked 92k miles, I wanted to trade it in for a newer one. I used Autotrader to identify two possible replacements and the experience between the two dealerships was astounding.

From my first phone call with Mat at Precious Metal, he was polite, friendly and seemed to genuinely care about my situation to help me find a new car. He followed up promptly via email and checked in with me regularly to understand my position. Mat is an excellent sales man in the sense that he remembers small, personal details such as my daughters names, which helped us to quickly build rapport and made me really want to make my purchase from him as opposed to the other dealership.

Almost two months passed before I actually test drove and purchased the car (as my husband was eager for a Tesla!). Mat kept in contact but never pressured me or used scare tactics to encourage me to purchase. He even kindly moved my car seats out of my car and into the new one so I can test drive it with my daughters (which was very exciting for them!)

When I purchased the car, it was valeted inside and out and looked brand new. Mat took care of all the paperwork and made it really easy for me to purchase from him.

I can’t recommend Mat highly enough. He is a really lovely gentleman, extremely knowledgeable and professional and I would take my business to him again in a heartbeat.
