My husband and I recently used Quontic Bank as our mortgage lender, as we embarked on the search of our new home for our family. Our broker, Mr. Shawn Carson, made the entire process extremely smooth and put us at ease every step of the way. His team of colleagues who worked on our loan application, including but not limited to Angie, were extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and kept us informed of the status at every step of the process. We were treated like family and not just a loan number. We were never rushed or forced. This is my 2nd home purchase with Joseph and his team (Christina and Julissa). Both times were great experiences because Joseph is so knowledgeable and takes his time explaining the process and answering all your questions. Christina and Julissa go over and beyond to get all the behind the scenes work done. Would highly recommend not only this amazing team but also Quontic's competitive loan terms. We will definitely be back for our next home or investment property purchase.

As a mortgage agent, Jo demonstrated exceptional professionalism and transparency throughout the entire process. He assisted me in calculating my affordability and clearly outlined how much I would need, the mortgage amount I could qualify for, and whether I could comfortably afford the property. His thorough explanation of the pros and cons of making an offer empowered me to make informed, independent decisions. Moreover, Jo meticulously defined all terms and conditions, providing numerous examples to ensure my understanding. He effectively illustrated the risks versus benefits from both short-term and long-term perspectives. I've had a solidly trustworthy experience with Quontic for the few years we've had several account types there. I love their payment ring that requires no charging like a Smart Ring. It is very handy for quick small payments at tap terminals.
My only complaint would be their low dollar limits for ACH transfers to external banks, otherwise it's been an excellent financial institution.

Like others, I'm extremely nervous that Quontic has my personal data after declining the submission, no reason given.

Despite my excellent credit, zero debt, high bank balances, the simple procedure of '3 mins to a CD' online failed 3 times. All my information was correct, the submission accepted, and 5 minutes later I had emails telling me I was declined but they were 'unable to provide any reason'. I called their customer service number, a helpful assistant told me she had no idea and 'you accepted the terms' (yes: read, understood, and all was fine) — and once declined this was forever! Never allowed to apply again. I complained via email, and 24 hours later received a 5th confirmation that repeated the 'declined and we're not telling you why' story.

As this shockingly bizarre reaction to a simple account application with supporting documents is online and Quontic now has my personal data, I contacted my bank to flag the issue.

My bank now has an escalated alert on my accounts for fraud, and any suspicious activity as a result of this very unusual decision. They were concerned for me as a long-time customer too.

Bottom line: don't use them. If a company cannot be transparent — they don't deserve YOUR money.

I had an amazingly smooth and easy experience with Joseph, Christina and Julissa with my home mortgage. They were able to get me a better offer than my current mortgage company so I switched to them. From start to finish, we closed in just over 3 weeks! Throughout the process, they were clear and transparent, super responsive, and also really friendly and easy to work with. I highly recommend Joseph, Christina and Julissa! Thank you guys so much!!

Fulbio did an amazing job. His eloquence, professionalism and experience really shined while working with my family specially with my mom. Him and Quontic bank helped us get the right capital and interest rate to obtain a nice home in our preferred area.

What made my experience great was Kristina Kovacs. Hands down the best agent a business could have. Kristina work ethic is amazing she makes you feel import, listens, resolves and guides you into what's best for you. Not at any point did i feel pushed or pressed. The reason I wanted to go with Quontic is because I own a business, and I wanted to borrow against my business equity to purchase a home. This isn't a common type of loan, but Marcelo and Quontic were very easy to work with. They were in communication with my realtor and broker so that the transaction proceeded as smoothly as possible.

So far so great. Highly competitive CD rates, smooth account set up and funding, basic but easy to navigate interface, responsive and professional customer service, and what look like good security procedures.

Closed my account because I had a fraud case and I complained about the fraud process in comparison to other financial institutions. They still haven’t wired my money back to me.

Great job Marcelo and thank you for holding my hand through the process and being so available. 5 stars!!!

As far as I know this was the only bank that required a two digit middle initial when filing out their application!!!

I believe I became a customer in 2022 and my latest experience was a question about some of my settings and got answers quickly and efficiently and pleasant. I have not had the same experience as some others because I only have banking accounts and CDs. It seems those with loans have better experiences. I agree that the process of opening a CD or a checking account is quite excessive. I already had CDs and then when I wanted to open a checking account, they weren’t able to find me so I had to go through the whole process that I had gone through the first time with all the information with pictures and identification and emails back-and-forth. I do love it because there’s always someone to answer your question in so many different ways email phone chat so forth , so as long as Quontic has great rates, I will continue to be a customer and recommend them to others.

Initiated the "open an account" request. Never got the verification email (hit the resend button twice). I think they're phishing for personal info, and now, unfortunately they've got my full name, email and phone number. Stay away!

5 stars because there was no greater option. I applied with hesitation to a non traditional lender I found online or in a credit karma link or written on the wall next to a truck stop urinal. I cannot recall where.

First, Kristina Kovacs. What can I say? She spoon fed me the application and burped me when I was done. Professional. Quick. Incredible. Just a phenomenal experience. Then she brings in Ashley the closer who answered all my remaining Querries. What a duo. I have recommended Quontic to 10 friends already based solely on the personal service these 2 provided. I had the same issue as the previous customers. I really doubt whether this bank is trying to collect people's sensitive information (SSN, name, DOB, address, contact info, external bank information, etc.).

I submitted an online application for their CD, but my request was declined. They only sent me an email to notify me and give me a list of information that might be wrong so that their weird system was unable to verify me. No case number or application number was enclosed.

I called their customer service line, but the staff was unable to do anything and couldn't even tell me which type of information the system thought was wrong. I am really worried about all the sensitive information I provided via their website.

The personalized experience of working with Marcelo, Vasiliki, Ray, and Patricia is 2nd to none. They basically walked us through the process of getting a mortgage step by step, very judiciously, and patiently when other banks would not or could not. They very much came to our rescue and made us feel well taken care of through the whole process. We would work with them again and again.
