Price Increase Chancers
I tried to take out a new policy with RAC and was originally quoted a very reasonable £161 but they got in touch to advise there was an issue with my claims information, one no-fault claim was added twice, and the quote was increased slightly. When I provided proof of the correct claims, the quote somehow went up more to £178. I called the following day to accept this as I had missed the window for the best quotes and was told that quote was no longer valid and it would now be £260! Policy cancelled and I'll never consider them again, worst service I've ever had from an insurance company.
