Problem free policy renewal
I renewed my insurance online. The RAC offered a good comprehensive package for the money. Not the cheapest, but the cheapest isn't always the best is it. I opted for a Defaqto recommended online policy and so far this has all been affordable and pretty seamless. I can't comment on the claims procedure, this is simply a review of the renewal process. I would add one note. My insurance was due to be renewed towards the end of July. The money was taken from my account as soon as I committed to buy the insurance, and that was in early July. Insurance payments are usually taken out one or two days before renewal. So something to bear in mind.

Well what can one say about car…
Well what can one say about car insurance ! As I have not, to date, made a claim I have no idea if my chosen insurers are good or bad and as I have no intention of doing so I’ll probably never know. Was the buying process easy ? Yes. Did I receive a competitive quote ? I think so. Did I buy from a supplier I trust ? I do like to think so. Do I have any complaints ? Not at present.

Great Service!
Staff were really helpful on the call, but I have rated 4/5 rather than 5/5 as the initial quote that I was given was higher than the one that was sent through for renewal... a different quote was identified when I raised that (so don't be afraid to query) which was slightly less than my renewal quote.
The call was answered quickly, the options were run through clearly and the person on the call was able to answer all of my questions and also to sort out my request for autorenewal to be an option.
Really liked that there was no hard sell for the additional RAC assistance, just raised as an option.
