Highly recommend Rent Guarantor as an estate agent who deals with a lot of international students. As far as I'm aware Rent Guarantor is one of the most established rental guarantors in the UK which is hugely important for us as an established agent in London. Michela in particular has been very attentive to any matter I have had and really appreciate all the help she has given.

I -overpaid by 6 months - they then refuse to answer emails or calls regarding a refund - and then informed my landlord that I had cancelled the agreement with them (despite having 7 months left on my agreement with them)

They are amazing

I applied for well a gaurantor, I paid the 20 pound fee, I sent in my application and waited, they emailed me asking if I was a uni student, and so on, I emailed back and they replied 6 DAYS later, which by then, the place I wanted to rent had fallen through because of how long it was until I got a gaurantor.

I no longer needed the form, so I asked for a refund since the housing fell through and they told me the 20 quid was to be paid "for financial checks", they never did, and then switched too "for opening an account" then they switched to "doing an application"

All of which makes no sense, as the application wasn't over, they haven't done any financial checks, and I don't even have an account.

I called the help line and kept telling him the reasons he hasn't given me weren't valid, and after about 40 minutes of talking to him and just asking if I can get a refund, he called me a b word and said I was wasting his time, we geniunely weren't even arguing the entire time, I have no clue where that came from????

They have been ignoring my emails now asking them for a refund ect, I've now found a different gaurantor and an actual place to move too,

Ontop of that their phone line was constantly disabled and within my 3 weeks of trying I was only able to get through ONCE and then was hung up on and called a b word.

Just don't bother. Honestly don't bother.

Great service. Great people. If you have a problem i recommend calling directly. They are very helpful. Sometimes a bit vague in their comments! But lovely people and trustworthy.

Had a lot of issues with pay l8r and my credit info being unfindable after my name change. Not only did connor from pay l8r really help and be patient, iv spoken to three seperate people via rent guarantor and i can say this with happiness that the consistency and understanding and patience they have all shown has been above and beyond. Especially michael from rent guarantor, cheerful understanding listens and helped me fully. I appreciate their help and definitely would recommend looking into rent guarantor if you are like me, familyless now or just struggling to find a guarantor for a property. Its simple and understandable, and if you can paypal in 3 or pay it in full, its a very efficient means to solving the rental issues that some can be faced with.

Incredible company, far better than their competitors. To compare, I wasted 2 weeks of my time, money, and effort going through the guarantor application with a competitor firm. Whilst with RentGuarantor the process took under 10 minutes to get to that same stage and actually surpass it. I would also like to deeply thank Amardeep for their extreme care to detail and helpfulness over the phone.

This is my first time using this service and the team (specifically Andy, who I spoke to mainly while sorting out my application) was super helpful, patient and always willing to help in any way he can.

Excellent customer service despite contract issues and cancellations.

I signed with rent guarantor for a student tenancy, which ended up being cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

I called rent guarantor to cancel and refund the credited amount, which wasn’t refundable at first, but the great team at rent guarantor heard my concerns and made an exception.

My letting agent was unresponsive and unhelpful, so this meant that I cancelled with rent guarantor later than I should have. Due to this, I was firstly unable to get a refund, but after simply sending an email to the complaints team they fully resolved the issue within the same day!

I’d like to mention Donna, who opened the case and helped push it through, and Mark who communicated the result with me through emails. These staff and the whole team were exceptionally helpful with the resolution and left me satisfied with the outcome. Happy with the service!

I had a fantastic experience with RentGuarantor from start to finish.

Joe and Andy were incredibly helpful throughout the entire application process. Everything was smooth, straightforward, and easy to follow. They were kind, understanding, and considerate of my circumstances, particularly as I had only recently started a new job and only had one month’s payslip available at the time of my application.

Despite needing to carry out the necessary compliance and affordability checks, they worked with me professionally and efficiently and were able to provide a solution. Their communication was excellent, and I always received prompt responses whenever I had a question.

I submitted my application on Tuesday and received approval by Friday, which was impressively quick, especially considering that some of my supporting documents were still being finalised during the process.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. Professional, responsive, supportive, and efficient throughout. I would highly recommend RentGuarantor to anyone looking for a guarantor service.
