In 2021, I worked with Tony Jarman from Retirement Line to purchase a five-year annuity from Legal & General. Tony worked with me closely to gather various pensions together (from previous employments, some of which I had totally forgotten about) and supported me in creating a substantial pot to move forward. He is a charming person, knowledgeable, friendly and with a delightful sense of humour. Without Tony’s professionalism I would have been at a loss. He answered all my questions, explained legal jargon and ensured I understood everything - and I was very happy with the service.

When it came to renewing the annuity this year (2026), Tony again provided me with straightforward details on all offers available and once I’d decided on going with Canada Life, the final stage involving comprehensive documentation, is where Roland Ewins from Retirement Line stepped in to finalise my annuity and make it ‘live’. Roland, another charming and friendly person, was very helpful, dispelled any confusion I had and kept me in touch by phone, post and email during the process.

They make a really great team and I would advise anyone looking into purchasing an annuity today, to approach Retirement Line - I don’t think you will be disappointed. Thanks a million to Tony and Roland!!! 😀

A very big thank you to Retirement Line for making my annuity purchase a very un-stressful experience. I initially dealt with Will Niedzwiecki, he was very knowledgeable, friendly, always polite (even with with lots of my silly questions over several calls) and made me feel totally at ease with such a big decision. After deciding which quote to accept I was passed to Scott Mulhern who took over proceedings keeping me informed at all times what was happening. I may have been lucky but once started the whole process took around a month to complete, way beyond my expectations.
