From the initial call to the final annuity set up, Retirement Line provided clarity and fast communication. Ed Starling first took my account and set up meetings as and when required to guide me through the annuity process. It was advantageous to have an experienced broker backed with a large company, who were able to get a preferential rate. I did the maths and yes, it really is better! Once the application was sent, John Quinn managed my case and kept me in the loop all the way, promptly and professionally answering my queries. There were some aspects of my annuity that were different to a standard, but it was handled without any issues. I did have a problem with the annuity provider delaying, which caused a drop in the rate. However, Retirement Line were able to 'weigh in' and negotiate an acceptable rate. All in all, it was a seamless experience which took the stress out of setting up an annuity. With this amount of money involved, it pays to leave it to professionals and I would gladly recommend Retirement Line, particularly Ed Starling and John Quinn.

Professional service made the process easy

The Retirement Line provided a very efficient and professional service throughout the process of setting up an annuity from my two workplace pension funds. There was a very streamlined approach to providing initial quotes, guiding me through the application process for my chosen annuity, liaising with the pension companies and co-ordinating the transfer of funds and issue of my new policy. Communication was excellent throughout the process with regular detailed updates and explanation of any issues with the pension companies. Both Joshua Lawson (the annuity specialist who provided the initial quotes and co-ordinated the application process) and Scott Mulhern (the customer relations consultant who followed the application through to completion) were extremely helpful at all times and very prompt in responding to queries.

I was hesitant at first but Rick was very patient and put all my fears to bed. Both Rick and Matthew kept me informed the whole time. Would recommend this company especially for nervous people.

Great customer service which I found the best after talking with different companies. They were always updating me how the transfer of funds to my current pension policy was progressing. A special mention to Thomas Handley and Andrew Rist, both have been superb in getting me a better deal than I was expecting, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I am so glad my former employer appointed Retirement Line to handle my annuity, they not only obtained the best rate but the service was excellent. As soon as I contacted them I received a pack full of useful information and was appointed Tom Handley as my annuity specialist. He was always professional, very knowledgeable and allowed me to go at my own pace never pressuring me to make a decision. His phone calls were always punctual and my emails answered promptly.
