I paid for a one-time transcription but got subscribed without my consent!
I paid for a one-time transcription. I followed all instructions to state I wanted to pay once and be done. Then I found they charged me for a subscription I did not consent to sign up for! When I tried to cancel the subscription using my logged in account, they said they could only cancel via email. That’s a scummy practice because they can claim to just never receive your email and keep charging you!
They did not warn me I would be forcibly subscribed and would need to cancel, and they make it hard to cancel when you finally figure it out and try to.
I’m disputing this with my bank. I refuse to let them get away with this.
