Good product but expensive
Good product, belt was well made but arrived in some torn tissue in a flimsy Jiffy bag. It was a Christmas gift and at over £100 I had expected it to arrive packaged better and with more care. When I contacted them I was told I was the only customer who had complained this year and it was about recycling. As the Jiffy bag had bubble wrap inside this is a poor reason. I would not recommend as I am sure there are many other quality belts at that price with better customer service and care given.
I have just read the reply from Sam Brown, my messages to them were as ‘toxic’ as my review here. I did look all through their website and could find no reference to how the product would arrive and how to request a gift box. I will say again that it is a good product I was disappointed with the way it arrived and the subsequent customer service. It’s a shame.

Whilst we try at every level to send brilliant product its sometimes impossible to please all the people all the time. I cannot cut and post the two horrifically toxic emails that you sent to us and as with the reply to one of them if you had bothered to read the website you would have seen that if you had wanted extra packaging then you could have purchased it. Please feel absolutely free to NEVER shop with us again.

My very old brown leather belt was beginning to split, Sam Brown Leather had a stall at Kew Sunday market. Sent pictures and dimensions via email, payment electronically. My new belt arrived quickly and looks good, not cheap but if it lasts as long as it's predecessor then Happy Days !
