The slow water fill problem was misdiagnosed and cost me a $350 new part plus over $150 in labor, and I still have the same slow water fill. The technician said I could not have the new part removed and get a refund.
Sears contacted me after my review claiming that the want to resolve the issue but I am unable to contact anyone at Sears to discuss the issue.

Martin is very professional, & I appreciated how he told me what he was checking & what the various results were. If I need repairs in the future, I hope he's the one to show up. I'd offer suggestions for improvement, but I can't think of anything.

Worst experience ever!! The tech was in my home for 15 minutes, charged me $129.00, didn't fix squat and told me that he had to order over $500 in parts. Three weeks later, no parts (they claimed that they couldn't find the parts) and I was still without a refrigerator. I went online, found 3 places that had the parts in stock and at 25% of the price that Sears quoted me! I canceled everything with Sears, orderedthepartsfrom a place in PA and had them in hand 3 days later. After watching a YouTube video, I fixed the refrigerator myself. Total cost $45.00. Sears charged me almost 20 times that. I challenged the charge to my American Express card since in my opinion, they tried to scam me. I will NEVER use them again for ANYTHING!!!

The service was exceptional and the issue repaired in a timely manner. The technician (Miguel) was very professional and knowledgable.

They givw me an apoitment to fix my microwave and they didn't shoe up
They text me to re schedule to the next day never show up again the call me the next day and give an other appointment fir the next day but again they didn't show. This guy don't care what you have to do in order to meet them .

Tech was patient as we explained the problem and as he attempted to duplicate the issue.

Craig was prompt and arrived when he said he would and fixed my washer in a matter of minutes. Very polite!

He arrived early in the day which was great. We weren't quite ready and he assisted us in moving what was needed to access the attic ladder. Diagnosed the issue and cleared the line.

Super helpful and educated on the dryer issue. Would rate a 12 if I could. Highly recommend. Polite and professional.

I scheduled Sears Repair Service to come out and provide an estimate for my refrigerator. The technician diagnosed the issue and quoted me approximately $640 for the repair.

When I reviewed the breakdown, I was shocked to see that the part was around $240 and the labor alone was approximately $340. I declined the repair because the price seemed extremely high, but I was still required to pay the $129 service/diagnostic fee just for the visit.

Afterward, I received three additional estimates from other repair companies, and every one of them was $300 or less for the same repair. That is a significant difference from the $640 Sears quoted me.

To make matters worse, it is nearly impossible to speak with an actual person at Sears Repair Service. Every phone number I tried simply routed me through an automated system. When a customer has a concern about a repair estimate or charge, there should be a reasonable way to speak with a live representative.

I understand that companies have different pricing, but there is a huge difference between a repair costing $300 or less elsewhere and being quoted $640 by Sears. It also feels like there is very little incentive to offer competitive pricing when the customer is still responsible for a $129 fee even if they decline the repair.

Between the excessive quote, the $129 fee, and the inability to reach a live person to discuss my concerns, I am extremely disappointed with this experience.

I would strongly recommend getting estimates from other appliance repair companies before scheduling with Sears. I certainly wish I had.

Five stars, excellent service!

Mr. W. Edwards was a true tech, that actually troubleshot the Whirlpool Dryer, and not blindly order parts. The parts that was sent, was broken and caused weeks of delay. Mr. Edwards actually had a part on hand that fixed my dryer. I'm waiting on my adjustment on actual parts costs. I'm not happy with Sears AI. We need to be able to talk to a live agent or Sears Home Services Supervisor asap. Live Support is always best!
