Sensory Land Reviews 

Messy play was certainly messy! It was our first time and my daughter is only just sitting up so we were a bit nervous but there were 4 lovely ladies on hand to help us feel at ease and provide some tissue paper when it all got a bit much! I can’t say enough good things about the ladies at Sensory Land, always there to make you feel welcome and the effort they went to for the Halloween special was great!! Honestly so many messy trays to choose from and cardboard cut outs for great photo opportunities. If you are in the area I would deffo recommend attending one of their classes.

SensoryLand messy play is such a wonderful experience. From the organisation to the games, the singing, the messy parts and best of all the people who run it. It’s like a little family and they remember you and you chat every week and it’s just lovely. Really makes my Friday and my little boy loves it. Thanks

I attended the Halloween messy play class and it was absolutely brilliant! So much effort had been put in to all the trays (rather them than me) and all round just a great atmosphere! I attend a lot of classes ran by the team and they are by far the best! Kind, funny, welcoming and because they’re a family ran business, you feel part of their family instantly! I don’t want to go back to work and miss the classes 😫

The group of ladies who run the classes really are one in a million. They make the effort to learn your names, they remember your baby and seem genuinely interested and happy to see us every time we go back. I’ve been to Woodland Adventures, Story time and Messy Play and every class has been really relaxed and my daughter loves them. Would highly recommend!

My little one Rosie loved story, songs & rhymes with Casey and Jade in Anerley! It’s very friendly and relaxed, and she was fascinated by the parachute! See you again soon!

AMAZING classes & a special group of ladies. We’ve just finished our term at messy play (Streatham, Friday 0945 class). My 21 month old started the class hugging my leg & crying if anyone came too close & by the end of the 6 weeks she was up dancing & singing. The 3 ladies who ran it were so patient with her & just offered gentle encouragement each week until it was clear she felt very comfortable with them. I also started the session 35 weeks pregnant and ended the term with my little girl going along with her Dad as I’d had the baby the Wednesday before & we didn’t want her to miss it. Everyone made sure they looked after me as well as my daughter- offering me chairs, extra mats & making sure I didn’t slip. The warmth & kindness has been invaluable to us both, it’s such a lovely, intimate business.

With a lot of children's centres closing or not resuming normal services I was looking for something to do with two of my kids (Age 3 and 1).
This class didn't disappoint. My 3 year old fully immersed herself and was very comfortable with the class leaders. My 1 year old in the beginning was a bit clueless but as the classes went on I saw good progression. He started recognising the songs, knew the actions and gained confidence with new people (Something lockdown babies are not use to).
Will definitely be booking future classes.

I first brought my son to a baby massage class with Casey back in 2019 which is one of my fondest maternity leave memories, so was over the moon when lockdown lifted and I could bring him as a 20 month old to messy play. The class was absolutely amazing with a great range of music, stories and the messy play itself. It’s one of the best things my son and I have done together in a really long time and seeing him so happy and having so much fun, genuinely made me feel quite emotional. We’ve missed Casey’s classes so much, it’s wonderful to be back.

My 17 month old and I absolutely love Sensory Land classes. We go to messy play and woodland adventures. The classes are well-organised and supervised with friendly and experienced co-ordinators who clearly love children. They really encourage parents to socialise which is great for lockdown parents and babies! Highly, highly recommended.

I have bought a course of baby yoga classes with Sensory Land, when my son was 6.5 months old (autumn 2019). At the time we were trying out a variety of classes with different tutors but, this baby yoga class with Casey,was the best out of all of them.
Casey is so warm and welcoming and just has a way with the babies. There was always such relaxing and calming ambience there. Perfectly selected background music, nice sensory toys for babies, lovely herbal tea and mini massage for adults at the end of the session. My son loved it, and I found it very therapeutic.
Highly recommend.
My only regret is that we’ve not had a chance to try out the messy play with Sensory Land as we have relocated during lockdown, but I am seriously considering still buying a course and travelling just for that.

I attended baby massage with my little boy when he was 6 weeks and enjoyed it so much that once we completed the course we booked onto the baby yoga course. I enjoyed having some dedicated bonding time with him whilst also learning tips and tricks from Casey to help his development and wellbeing. It was also a really nice way to meet a few other local mums.

My son loved Casey's messy play classes. The classes always start with a lovely welcome song and the teachers all use sign language to communicate with the little ones, then they do story time before doing messy play (which is different every week) - don't forget to bring your apron as it can get messy....and then each class finishes with some songs. My only criticism about the classes would be the booking system....we booked for a term and then I expected to be given priority to keep my place for the next term like other children's classes in the area and to be given a small priority booking window to book before others on the waiting list, but the booking for the new term was a free for all and we lost our place along with others. I think it's nice for the children and parents for consistency purposes to keep their place for a couple of terms so the children get to see each other each week and the parents get to know each other as well.....At the moment we are not returning to messy play as we have not secured a place for the next Term.

Casey is a welcoming and inclusive teacher for this wonderful, fun class (we did baby yoga). The music is engaging, she switches up the class to suit the mood of the babies and makes the Mums feel important too. I looked forward to this class every week and cannot recommend it highly enough.

I absolutely loved the baby massage classes with my baby body. Casey was an incredible teacher and I always felt so relaxed after the classes. It was also a great way to bond with my son and to meet other mums.

I did Baby massage with my little girl when she was just a few weeks old, then Baby Yoga at approx 6 months and later Messy Play when she was 9 months - all with Sensory Land and run by the brilliant Casey. That’s how brilliant it was. Miss it so much :/

Unfortunately I found the class I attended with my baby to be disappointing. The messy play would have been much better suited to a slightly older child, and not a just turned 1 year old. The singing and music were ok, but something I could easily recreate at home myself. The session was cut short by 10 mins (which, at £13 for what should have been a 40 min session, I thought was quite expensive already). Casey acknowledged the class had been cut short, and said she would email a discount to be used at a future class, but I never received anything. Perhaps the classes have improved since my visit, which was over 2 years ago, but I had no desire to return after the first visit so can only base this rating on the one visit.

I did not receive a follow-up email from you after the class I attended, in my spam folder, or similar.

It is not my intention to 'defame' your company; I am delighted to hear that your business is doing well and lots of mums and babies seem to very much enjoy your classes. I have attended a number of different baby classes which I might have enjoyed, whilst others didn't so much - it is simply down to what suits the mother and baby. Might I suggest that if you are not really open to feedback, then don't invite customers to leave a review. If they do choose to leave a review that doesn't fit in with your ideals, then refrain from false accusations, any personal comments, and remain professional and factual.

I attended the baby massage course offered by Sensory Land with my little girl and we both loved it. I used some of the technics so many times, especially when she had tummy pain. It’s a really bonding experience.

I took my little one to baby massage and then to messy play when he was older and we loved both. The classes are so well structured, very relaxed and the leaders are great at holding the children's attention. I wish there was something similar where we live now.
