A distanza di oltre un mese e mezzo, non ho ancora ricevuto il server acquistato. Cosa ancora più grave, il servizio clienti non risponde ai miei tentativi di contatto e non mi fornisce alcun tipo di aggiornamento o spiegazione sul ritardo. Trovo questo comportamento del tutto inaccettabile e poco professionale per un'azienda che dichiara di offrire un servizio di alto livello. Spero che questo messaggio attiri l'attenzione del team di supporto per risolvere immediatamente il problema, effettuando la spedizione o procedendo con il rimborso totale, sarò lietto di modificare questa recensione.

Excellent service, technical support and customer care

We recently purchased a Dell PowerEdge R640 from SERVERMALL, and the overall experience was excellent.

Alex (Sales Manager) as well as Anastasia (Account Manager) assisted us throughout the entire process and demonstrated a very high level of professionalism, responsiveness, patience, and customer care.

Our requirement involved a properly prepared enterprise server, so there were several technical points that needed clarification and verification before shipment.

Anastasia was always willing to communicate, check the server configuration, answer our questions, and provide the information we needed. I particularly appreciated the care taken before dispatch to ensure that the server and its storage configuration were properly prepared.

Communication was friendly and professional from beginning to end, and we never felt that our questions were inconvenient or being rushed.

The Dell PowerEdge R640 has now been received, installed, configured with Proxmox VE, and is operating successfully in our infrastructure.

Based on this experience, I would be very pleased to work with SERVERMALL again for future server and infrastructure requirements.

Every quotation I received came with pressure attached: "valid 2 days", "if you order within 2 days". As a former sales professional I read those signals differently than they are intended. Servers are not perishable goods — refurbished ones least of all. There is no honest reason for a two-day clock other than to stop the buyer from thinking.

I ordered anyway. The quotation promised delivery in 5–7 days. I accepted, paid, and sent the proof of payment.

After that, the urgency evaporated. Seven days passed with no information whatsoever. When I finally asked, I was told some components were missing — a detail that somehow did not come up while the offer was on a two-day countdown. When I expressed my disappointment, the explanation changed: they currently have too many orders. My apologies for disturbing an already busy supplier.

As I write this, I still do not know when or whether the servers will arrive.

The asymmetry is the point. Two days to decide on their side; unlimited time and no updates on mine. If a supplier can send urgent reminders before payment, they can send status updates after it.

Happy to revise this review if things are put right.

Les serveurs nous ont été livré assez rapidement et ils fonctionnent bien. Pour certains serveurs nous n'avions pas commandé le bon modèle de carte raid et de HDD, le service commercial s'est dépêché de nous trouver une solution de remplacement à moindre coût.

Ordered multiple servers and accessories. As expected with used products there were sometimes some small issues, but they were very helpful in helping fixing those problems quickly.

I was looking for the lowest possible server price and did not want to pay outrageous prices elsewhere for either refurbished or new servers. And I found Servermall.com. I recently purchased two refurbished Dell servers here and would like to share my buying experience.
The e-shop offers refurbished equipment from manufacturers like DELL, HPE, Lenovo, IBM, and Supermicro. They cover several hardware generations, making it a great choice for someone looking for modern production machines as well as an enthusiast building a home lab from older generations. Prices are generally very competitive. For those who prefer the Dell ecosystem, for example due to iDRAC management or reliability, DELL seemed the most cost-effective option to me.
The biggest advantage of the entire website is definitely their detailed configurator. I was not limited to fixed pre-made configurations and could customize the server almost from scratch according to my own needs. In the configurator, I could choose the exact model and number of processors, RAM capacity and frequency, complete drive arrays including HDD, SSD, and NVMe with specific sizes and speeds, RAID controllers, network interface cards, the number and wattage of power supplies for redundancy, rack rails, and other internal accessories.
One minor detail to consider is that the configurator allows customization of almost everything inside the chassis, except for the motherboard. The motherboard is firmly tied to the specific chassis and server generation.
My summary of why I bought here and what to look out for centers on the great price-to-performance ratio, especially for refurbished Dell servers. The flexibility is excellent as the configurator works intuitively, checks component compatibility, and allows building exactly what a project requires. The layout is straightforward and does not overcomplicate purchasing enterprise IT. However, it is necessary to keep in mind the fixed chassis, meaning the motherboard is a fixed configuration of the given model. Anyone needing a different socket or motherboard architecture must switch to a different model or generation. For me, this is an excellent choice for sysadmins, budget-conscious companies, and more demanding hardcore users who know what they are doing and want control over every gigabyte of RAM and drive slot.

Ich habe bei Servermall einen refurbished Server gekauft und bin rundum begeistert. Vom Erstkontakt bis zur finalen Lieferung lief die Kommunikation absolut professionell, schnell und sehr freundlich ab. Da wir die Hardwareteile des Servers exakt spezifizieren mussten, gingen im Vorfeld viele E-Mails hin und her. Die Reaktionszeiten waren dabei immer super schnell. Der Server wurde pünktlich in einem einwandfreien Zustand geliefert. Auf dem Server wurde inzwischen Windows Server 2025 Standard als Host-System für Hyper-V installiert. Das System läuft einwandfrei und alles funktioniert bestens. Vielen Dank für die tolle Betreuung – ich kaufe hier gerne wieder!

I am extremely satisfied with ComputerMall's service. Thanks to Ed that informed me about every single step of the process of ordering 2 x DELL T640 web servers. Servers arrived in less than 2 weeks. Disks inside are top quality (WD Gold). Both servers have been subjected to a stress test before shipping. Good price. Now I am installing Linux. ServerMall highly recommended.
