I shipped 2 trunks for the first time…
I shipped 2 trunks for the first time with ship camps this year. I would not recommend it. Upon arrival, both trunks were open and MISSING THE LOCKS, which would have had to have been broken off. Both trunks are completely ruined and missing the wheels. They are full of stains, scratches, and even footprints. One is missing hardware on the outside and the inside, which was again initially locked. They vinyls on both is ruined, and there are various dents and pulls in the metal.

Receiving trunks in that condition is by no means typical, but when it does happen, our team prides itself on a timely resolution and reimbursement.
Looking into the details, we can see the claim was submitted yesterday, and as of this morning, it's been approved for the full requested amount. A reimbursement check will be mailed out in the coming days so a replacement trunk can be purchased. Early Arrival
We were expecting our camper's trunks on the Wednesday after her last day of camp and they arrived on Sunday. Trunks were in great shape and allowed us to get started on laundry much earlier than planned. Thank you!

That said, we're sorry to hear the trunk arrived damaged on the return leg. Receiving a trunk in that condition is by no means typical, but we're here to help when it does happen.
All shipments come with complimentary insurance, with the option to insure up to $7,500, so while unfortunate, trunk damage is covered under our insurance policy. Since this is the first time our team has been notified of the damage, we'll have a member of our team reach out directly to assist with filing a claim for reimbursement.

Unfortunately, this is the first we're hearing of the issue. Had we been notified at the time of delivery, we would have gladly shipped a new box to the camp for use on the return leg, at no additional cost. If any items were damaged or missing as a result, please let us know. All shipments come with complimentary insurance, with the option to insure up to $7,500, so if anything arrived in poor condition, you're covered.
