Please read 92% of the reviews I wish I did. My unwell mother ordered a wig and it was completely wrong size even though they advertise petite. I paid £149 and when I asked for refund they offered me £25 so unless if your experienced do not order from these or you will loose your money. I have stored wig away but might as well chuck it out as my mother will never be able to wear it. I have emailed this company at least 20 times and only occasionally got a reply. I decided to accept £25 refund as its better than nothing but to this day after nearly 2 months no refund. They just take your money send out your item then your on your own as you will get no after service. DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Even if somewhere else is more expensive it may end up costing you less in the end.

DO NOT use this company. I ordered a childs wig and was sent an adult female one. They will not replace or refund, offering only a small discount (10 to 20%) as 'compensation'. The parent company HYMAX are difficult to contact but I understand from others are no help. I have so far sent around 50 emails trying to negotiate, but they are actually in China and not a British company. It is really a SCAM. I am trying other avenues to get them stopped (and get a refund) as they have scammed so many others. I doubt I will get my money back.

I have purchased 2 wigs from shopwig both of which I love. Great quality. So much so I have ordered 2 more .

ONE BLOND, ONE GINGER AND ONE GREY. CAN YOU IMAGINE SWAPPING WIGS FROM DAYTIME TO EVENING???!!! THEY ACCEPTED THE ERROR AND OFFERED 8% REFUND. I SPENT £245.00. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF THE DECADE!! PLEASE DONT FALL FOR THE WEBSITE SCAM I DON'T THINK THEY HAVE EVEN 10 WIGS TO OFFER!! LET ALONE HUNDREDS!! GIVE YOUR MONEY TO CHARITY RATHER TO THIS BOGUS SCAM!

Why are this so called company still allowed to trade!!!!! DO NOT USE ‼‼‼‼‼my sister unfortunately bought a wig..absolutely shocking.£80 wish she had read the reviews. Have emailed them to be told wig is fine please keep..going to the credit card company to see what we can do..DO GET RIPPED OF‼‼‼‼‼‼‼‼

This site gives the impression it is UK based . From the url and the UK address.
I ordered a wig for a show.
It's not arrived .
The first email back to me was poorly written so i did some digging and found it's in China.
So far been asked to give them more time ,delay the show ( er... No there's a cast of 50) and so far offered a partial refund of 30 percent.
I've declined and am still in email negotiation.

The site is deliberately misleading from all the story about their history and credibility and vast array of wigs and options.

Ordered my wig January 12th,
Not heard a thing tried e.mailing them, message just go’s into draft.
Looking at other reviews think this site is a SCAM.
Money gone out of my account.

Company will not refund my money
After 10 emails asking for a refund I was told I was entitled to only 40% refund.
I asked the company to read consumer laws for UK.
Why is this company still fraud entry advertising wigs stealing UK buyers money and years later still nothing done by ACTION FRAUD.
Just an acknowledgment, my money is still missing.
International Organised criminal group Is still advertising and stealing peoples money.
Google has endorsed this company in fraud as this fraud elect company has not been removed.
I have reported to British TV called Fraud team.
I want my money back from this group of Marxists and psychopaths

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Like so many I read the reviews after receiving my wig which was (can only describe as orange) not the colour I ordered. They do not show the product code or colour of the wig on your order confirmation so you have no chance of proving the wrong colour has been sent. No need to repeat my experience which is the same as all the other reviews of the process they use to prevent you sending it back or refunding. How can we (all the people who have given honest bad reviews) get together to stop this company mis selling and conning more people of their money. Where is Googles Trading Standards? who can set up a "shopwig.co.uk dissatisfied customer" whatsup or other group to collectively stop this company trading on the net.

Total scammers. No return number. Awful product. No refund. Given the run around by these robbers with no conscience.

Wish I had read these reviews before being ripped off by this company which isn’t UK based They are committing fraud and you will lose your money if you try and purchase items from them

Do not deal with this company its return policy is completely fake. I ordered a wig in the wrong colour and the quality was not as described in their advertising. They would not provide me with the return address or promise me a refund in full. They told me it would probably get lost and because they are so far away from UK the shipping fees would be high. As they would not give me the correct address sent it back to the return address on label recorded delivery, and even though it was signed for, they are refusing to acknowledge this address. Money down the drain so be careful. Expensive mistake

This Chinese company is awful , paid hundred pounds + for something the dog would be scared of! Beware DO NOT BUY !! Took photos and sent them , same response as other “suckers” So cross that I did not read reviews , just chucked them in the bin!!

This company is really bad. Do not use them, they are scammers. I order a wig in January but it never came, so they told me they would send another. That didn’t turn up either so I requested a refund. They offered me a partial refund which I refused as I had nothing from them. I’ve sent over 80 emails and their answers have gone from yes they will send me a refund to, will I accept a partial refund. I’ve just been going round in circles. Their customer service is non existent, all they want is your money

I read the reviews on this site after sending for a wig and thought I would either not get my wig or it would be awful when I did. However, it is brilliant!! It fits beautifully and my husband thinks it is the best of the three I now have. I wish I'd waited a bit longer now, I could have ordered another. It looks really natural and looks really good.

My wife purchased wig from this company having read the reviews on their webpage. This wig was not as described (totally different to web photo),substandard and I believe mis-sold. We read Trustpilot reviews too late. They will not provide return address or return No.
We are trying to recover our losses through other channels.

They do not adhere to returns policy. The wig is like something from a cheap joke shop. I have lost £200 which I can’t afford. Please stay well away from this company

I bought a wig from this company, costing £190, within 24 hours of receiving it I contacted them to return it because it was very poor quality and nothing like what I had chosen. I've exchanged many emails and they have refused to accept a return or refund and have removed all trace of my order from their website. Do not go near this company or their parent company Hymax they are con artists.

Hopelessly poor quality wig. Their order number 21124043. Not fit for purpose. I sent them pictures at their request. They refused to let me send it back for a full refund. After lengthy exchange of emails they at last agreed to give me 15% refund. I reluctantly said OK. That was in November 2021. It's now April 2022 no refund ever arrived. Don't do business with them.

The wig I received was not as the image on the website, not as advertised and substandard.
Following numerous emails to "Linda", a representative of the company without a reasonable solution offered and what I understand to be stalling tactics, it was evident to me that I was not going to receive a full refund-I was eventually offered a 10% refund with the offer of purchasing another wig at a reduced price!
I contacted PayPal to advise them of the issue. A case was opened for me by an extremely helpful advisor and they found in my favour within hours. I did suggest that they look into this company.
It's been a disappointing but learning experience for me and my advice to anyone before placing an order would be to read the reviews on a trusted site!
