The worst company I have ever come across 30 emails and still no satisfaction rubbish products and rude customer service DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

If there was a 'minus' option, I would have used it! Don't touch these people with a barge pole - thought they were a UK company, website deceives you. Possibly Chinese. Have cancelled order and trying to get a refund - told will only get 30% web site states "Orders cancelled more than 72 hours after payment confirmation: you will get a partial refund consisting of 30% of the item price and the full shipping cost." No idea if will get a refund, but will not let them get away with this.

If only I’d read the reviews of this company beforehand I would never have placed an order. They deliberately mislead customers by using a UK email address. Unusually I didn’t check reviews before hand for Shopwig. I am about to start a course of chemotherapy and wanted to try a wig before hand. Maybe it was anxiety about my up and coming treatment that distracted me. I have not received my wig and now having read reviews I suspect that even if I did I would be very dissatisfied with it. I have opened a dispute with Shopwig via PayPal re Shopwig failing to deliver item. I don’t know if it will be resolved, but even if this review serves as a warning to prospective purchasers to avoid this company at all costs that would be something.
Update : Since writing review and opening a dispute via PayPal company immediately contacted me to say they were sending wig out today. Coincidence or what!!! I will update review if there’s any outcome

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS WEBSITE! £150 for a wig that honestly looks so though I ordered it from a fancy dress shop. Awful service!!!!!

This awful company trade under a co.uk banner without advising that returns are to mainland China.

I eventually received the item which was absolutely awful - an expensive party wig which bore no resemblance to the website pictures. But you'll know that from other reviews.

Shopwig don't understand customer service - they said about washing the item!

I didn't do anything of the sort as it said the item had to be returned in the supplied state as received, if it had been washed they would have used that to nullify the return.

You have to think smartly to outdo these people. And perseverance paid off.

I bought the item using Paypal's and registered to return it using the Paypal returns process - I got the postage paid by Paypal and I used Royal Mail International Track and Trace which was a fraction of the prices of couriers - £12.45p as opposed to £30 + from the couriers.

I also got a full refund, eventually - beat these people at their own game. But best of all don't buy from them to begin with.

If you do buy and don't like what you've received, pursue them to the end of legalities and return the item - if paypal get enough negatives then they will strike Shopwig off their list of vendors.

My mum recently ordered a wig for £150, the wig that was sent did not look like the picture advertised and it's quality was terrible. They have only offered 10% refund, and she has to pay the return fee to "remote China".
This company is fraudulent, they are trying to scam you. DO NOT BUY!

I regret ordering from shopwig.co.uk. Very bad services, I received a very bad text of wig, different color from what I ordered. I emailed them and I was told to wash the wig before using it, the wig it's not even worth €10. I don't advice anyone to order from them. Order number 21122366

I should have stuck with my promise to myself not to buy anything when PayPal is involved or the trader does not provide his name and postal address on his web pages. The address given on shopwig.co.uk web pages looks like it is a letterbox only company. In truth these people are probably located somewhere in China and a refund will never take place.

Unfortunately I read the reviews too late! As soon as I read them I cancelled the order the same day 29/3/2020. Shopwig 'Chris' told me the order couldn't be cancelled as the raw material and labour cost had been generated. If I insisted "the most we can refund you is 30% of the order". I notified my bank who advised to let the payment £131.98 be taken from my account and to then raise a dispute. Giving the benefit of the doubt I took no further action at that time. Sent email on 24/4/202 chasing up item and told The item is during process and have pushed the order.
email sent 13/5/2020 The item is hand tied to give natural looking, it has taken a few days to process. Your order has been prioritised.
email sent 3/6/2020 asking for delivery date. 4/6/20 Was told it has almost finished process and has strict quality inspection. Affected by epidemic, fewer staff and working hours, process has slight delay. 6/6/20 told the wig has finished process during quality inspection now. Wish you could be more patience.
19/6/2020 Item still not received and today raised complaint through bank.

Do not buy from this trader. I am currently having a big problem returning an item .They are prevaracating and stalling on this issue saying that their returns department is in China and it would cost me £50 to return it but I still have no return address. Hassle hassle and more hassle. I am considering going to trading standards to check on my UK consumer rights and get them involved.

This company is selling poor quality wigs at inflated prices, using a company name extremely close to our own (Kimwigs.co.uk - We are Kimswigs.co.uk, a British retailer of high quality wigs and hair extensions for approximately 15 years)

This is resulting in bad feedback coming our way, for products which aren't our own - Please be vigilant people, check the company location before you purchase. We're very open in displaying we're a British company, registered and based in Newcastle upon Tyne, sending all products via Royal Mail 24h services.

Also, all of our photos are taken in house, using stock from our stores. These Chinese scammers use model photos, and the wig's aren't ever anywhere near the images shown!

Please stay away from this website. This company is not acting in good faith and they are malicious. The are using the phone number of an innocent lady who has no idea that her business number has been hijacked. All you who have been tricked by them should contact their domain provider Cloudflare, Inc.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered from this DISREPUTABLE COMPANY. The wig I ordered was shortish and curly but the one I received was long and straight. I asked for a full refund after a few emails back and forth and they finally replied with the following email.
If you insist to return, we will accept, Please kindly note customer has to pay the return shipping fee.
Our after sale department is in China, the return shipping fee will be high for you, almost £50,
Due to the current situation, the shipping time will much longer, there happens missing package.
In order to minimize your loss, I suggest you may keep the item, for your new order, we will give extra discount.
If there is any concerned, please feel free to contact us.

DO NOT TRUST THIS SITE. Looks like we have all suffered the same experiences. Ordered blonde wig, 5 weeks later, this disgusting rust coloured thing turns up on my doorstep. I asked for a refund. It gets better. I was then told, they may have sent somebody else's order to my address (I ordered before the covid issues really took off) and could I send it back! The person in the emails was a disgrace and ignored my request for a refund. I had to go through my bank. By the way, they state it's UK but its based in China. Could have picked it up in a craft shop.

Agree with all previous, negative comments. Terrible company, wig arrived with two tone colour and a total contrast from picture. Could have picked it up from a cheap market stall. Company refuses a refund. Also state that it is too expensive to return and that it it possible it would get lost on the way (although it did arrive..after 5 weeks). This company is totally misleading and not based in the UK. Buyer beware! As the saying goes .....AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Still not got the tiny refund offered for my rubbish wig. They wouldn't get away with it in the UK. One review has left a bad review but with 5 stars (obviously a mistake) that's brought the average rating up. STAY AWAY. This is a scam.

Do not buy from this company .they are totally dishonest and must be stopped .if you are unlucky enough to receive a wig it will not be anything like what you ordered the reviews on line all say the same thing and yet they are still getting away with conning people please let's stop these unrepubital sharks from fleecing us .

DON'T, Don't buy from these people! They take your order and just keep you waiting forever. I was kept waiting from13th Jan 20 until 18th Feb 20. (in their terms/conditions they state only 5-10days!!!)
I contacted them many times asking where and when would my order be done. They will charge you for canceling(easy money for them anything from 50% down saying they had to buy in the material for making!!!)
I sent 15 emails back and forth being told "it's on the way" "there was no problem". Finally, I asked for a full refund with no deduction! and threatened them with Paypal! They replied, "they would prioritize order to be made and then send it out on express delivery."Who are they kidding they tell lies and excuses all the time.
I've contacted Paypal and started a "not received intervention" asking for my refund.
they make you think they are in the UK as their email has "Shopwig.co.uk" BUT I was told the company is in China.

Don't trust them! to buy elsewhere. I will never buy from China again there always seem to be problems with quality, misdescription,and communication when items aren't correct.

Buy in "good old England" you pay alittle more sometimes but you know what you're getting without all the hassel or "con cancelation charges!"
