Excellent customer service and products at Bluewater
I visited the Sleep8 store at Bluewater for the first time today. I had walked past it many times but had assumed the beds would be very expensive. However, I really needed help because I had ordered a bed from another company and it had to be returned as the headboard was too large to fit up my stairs. So I was sleeping on a mattress on my floor!
I was approached by Ravinder Kaur and I explained my strict criteria to her. She was extremely helpful - she was very knowledgeable about the products and their dimensions. When she understood exactly what I wanted and that my need was urgent she checked to see if any suitable beds were in the warehouse and I was able to buy a bed that meets my criteria that will be delivered tomorrow and will fit up my stairs.
I am so pleased I went into this store at Bluewater. I highly recommend it.

From the moment we stepped into the store to the day the mattress and sofa bed was delivered was 1st class service. I was told when the delivery would arrive, was kept informed during my time slot, 3 very polite young men delivered and assembled and demonstrated. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Amazing customer service, highly recommend
The customer service I have received from sleep 8 has been incredible. I was hesitant to purchase a bed from them as I wasn’t familiar with the brand but I have no complaints. It took 3 weeks to be delivered, the delivery guys were amazing (put it up in 30mins) and the bed is such good quality. I had a minor issue with one of the storage boards being damaged on delivery so had to contact customer service via email afterwards as I had no luck getting through on the phone. They got back to me within a day with a solution. A replacement and partial refund which again was delivered and sorted within two working days! Incredible, thank you so much would highly recommend.

Extremely Disappointed – Faulty Mattress and Poor Customer Service
We purchased a super king size bed and mattress from Sleep8, and within just one year, the mattress developed a significant bend right in the middle, causing severe back problems for both of us. What’s worse is how poorly Sleep8 handled our complaints.
We reached out multiple times, only to receive the same copy-paste response stating the issue was “within industry standards.” That excuse may fly for wear and tear in sleeping zones — but this bend was in the centre of the mattress, clearly caused by the combination of Sleep8’s bed frame and the mattress sagging under its own weight. It’s not a normal or acceptable defect.
Despite claiming a warranty, they made us jump through hoops by sending a so-called “independent third-party investigator.” Even though the visible deformity was acknowledged, their report miraculously claimed everything was fine — leaving us with a defective mattress and zero accountability from Sleep8.
We eventually had to insert foam between the frame and the mattress ourselves to try and correct the dip. For reference, we own another bed with a similar frame and mattress from another brand, and it’s perfectly fine — proving the problem is specifically with Sleep8’s substandard products.
Bottom line: Avoid Sleep8. Their mattresses don’t last, their warranty is meaningless, and their customer service is utterly dismissive and unhelpful. Save yourself the back pain and frustration — shop elsewhere.

Poor service .
Poor service .. the pillow unfortunately made my neck pain worse .. asked for a return in 2 days and was refused and was told cannot return pillows for hygiene .. however that accept returns for a mattress as per the website .. just makes no sense .. you buy a pillow anywhere you are able to return it if not suitable within a month ..

Poor quality mattress
I’ve bought a Glen Haven Mattress 2.0 Super King and a mattress protector in order to be eligible for the 100 nights trial. After 2 weeks of receiving the mattress, it started sagging in the middle. A third party technician came and confirmed the sagging was more than 2.5cm! They said they would replace with a new one which will take 6 weeks. This is very upsetting for such an expensive mattress.
On top of this, I’ve washed the mattress protector as per the instructions and there was a whole after the first wash. I reached out to customer support and was told they could not give me a refund as this was due to wear and tear. It’s not wear and tear when it’s never been used but simply poor quality! I was then offered a discount for a new one as a “gesture of good will” - ridiculous!
I’m very disappointed overall with the quality of their products, especially given they are not cheap! Unfortunately they don’t provide refunds and now I’ll have to wait and see if the new mattress doesn’t have the same issue.

Terrible experience .
Terrible experience .. recieved a pillow that has given me a real bad neck in 1 day of using .. asked to return it and they would not .. very poor customer service .. please be aware do not buy anything of these guys without checking as very pricey and you will get stuck with the product .. the worst I have dealt with

The worst super king firm mattress we…
The worst super king firm mattress we have ever purchased.
We ordered our mattress from Startford Sleep8.After 2-3 months of using, it started bending from the middle. Me and my husband are not super heavy or big even. Cant image what would happen if someone who is little bigger would buy this.
We are getting back-pain from it now. We will soon return it if still this option is available.
