Paul made us welcome,not pushy and I got a good deal

You can buy cheaper products, but I haven't seen anywhere remotely comparable in terms of quality and value. We are very happy with our purchase, and the service from Rebecca was exceptional.

Rebecca was welcoming and efficient. She knew about the items we were interested in and helped us in our choice.
The coffee was good as well.....

We visited Smiths of Harrogate this afternoon having been to several bed suppliers over the past week.

Different companies had different styles, but Rebecca at Smiths was the only person who matched various bed options to our different needs around budget, style and firmness.

She gave us time to discuss by ourselves, but remained available to provide more advice. With this help we wee able to choose a bed, headboard and mattress that met all our needs. Without her help we would still be looking.

If you want genuine, professional advice and deep product knowledge go the Smiths. Also their prices are both competitive and transparent! Can’t be said for others!

Having received very unhelpful service locally to home, I discovered that Smiths have a big stock of Himolla, so I made the long trip to Harrogate. The sales team were brilliant. My chair was delivered three days later by an excellent team - friendly, helpful, efficient and polite.

We have just had our Venjakob dining chairs delivered and assembled by Dan & Mark who were so cheerful and friendly from the get go and so accommodating. They did an excellent job and are a credit to Smiths of Harrogate. Infact I think they have been the best delivery drivers we have ever had. We cannot rate this company highly enough and although we live nearly 200 miles away and haven’t ever set foot inside the showroom - from start to finish, everything has gone perfectly and we are over the moon with the chairs. A big heartfelt thank you to Smiths.

Top quality brands on display( furniture made to last ),in a lovely store. We have shopped here before and the experience is second to none. Sales staff are very friendly and approachable but not pushy. When buying large purchases we tend to visit a store a few times before a decision is made. We always feel welcome at the Rink. Swatches are available to loan which really helps when choosing . Nothing was too much trouble. Paul and Graham were extremely helpful and gave great service. We placed our order today and are looking forward to receiving our new G plan sofa and chair. Thank you Smith's the rink.

Smith's provide a lovely personalised experience and have a large selection of the more unusual high-end brands. It's the go-to Northern showroom for Ercol furniture.

Lots of clear and useful information on the website, vast and varied stock available to view.
Follow- up call by the company following my order, explaining the process of delivery, how long that would likely be and how it would be handled.

Great help from Graeme to place the order and to clarify disposal of old furniture and Stainguard.
Payment and followup paperwork was straightforward and he also confirmed with Ercol the estimated delivery date. He made it an altogether pleasant experience and much better than ordering on line.

This is my first time purchasing a mattress at this price point so although I knew I wanted to commit to buying something of quality, I was a bit apprehensive. I spoke to both Frank and Graham who were very patient with me on the phone and explained the different options I had and what they would recommend best for my requirements. I felt in very safe hands and I am glad I was able to speak to real people about my concerns over the phone.

Extremely helpful staff who look after you really well. Paul was great on the phone and in person when I was buying a bed. It was easy to order and nothing was too much trouble.
