Don't be fooled by the "Free Shipping". If you want to return an item, YOU HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING AND CUSTOMS TO SEND IT BACK TO CHINA!!!!!!!! Yes, CHINA! Do NOT buy from this company.

I went to my local Spencer’s store to buy jewelry and at the register the cashier told me I had to buy jewelry cleaning wipes, which I definitely did not need. And I stated this to the cashier guy very clearly several times. He told me he couldn’t sell me the jewelry if I didn’t buy the product, I felt the peer pressure and had to buy it. It felt very forced to have to spend my money on a product I didn’t want/need. Customers should not be put in this position, I was very upset that the worker was also rude that I was refusing to buy that.
Before check out he also told me to put my phone number and I refused but he told me it was policy and I had to do it to do the transaction. Then as i walked out of the store I started receiving text messages from Spencer’s, and that I had to set up my account. I was never told any information on this. It shouldn’t be mandatory to make an account with the store, and I don’t think it’s necessary for me. I’m never buying from that store again.

When they arrived around a month later they were a different design and so huge I would comfortably fit into them twice. It appears to be a gamble when you order from them just what you’ll get. Judging from what others have said seems pointless trying to return them. Will just have to find an elephant that needs some shorts.

Horrible the way this company treats their employees. I had went in the store to grab some jewelry nd the employee was shoving jewelry cleaner down my throat. I refused as I dint need it. I asked why they ask that. Employee told me the company requires them to ask? He said it’s for store numbers and add ons. And that they don’t get ANY reward for up selling. I am appalled!! They don’t get commission or anything for it? Unbelievable I won’t be shopping here again I feel terrible for them

Ordered several small items Can't include image with this. All items would have easily fit in one small box with standard bubble wrap. Instead, items arrived in one Fed Ex plastic wrap, and three boxes. Seriously? The items are small pins and buttons, 4 per cardboard backing less than 3 inches sq., a total of eight pieces. No wonder shipping costs were higher.

Buyer beware this is a typical Chinese company pretending to have a store in NYC for 30 plus years. I have fallen for this scam in the past and got complete garbage from a site claiming to be a NYC store going out of business the garment I received was junk.And of course to return it was more than it cost. I tried to contact Spencer and they kept telling me I had the wrong answer in their puzzle which is almost impossible to screw up unless you can't see. Beware

My experience was actually really good. I am seeing a lot of one stars on here and im sorry to those that are disappointed with their experiences. The shipping was very fast and the quality of the product was exactly how it sounded on the website. Five stars from me!

shitty customer service.. contacted them about my package not moving for about a week now, still in the same location that’s it’s been at since the 3rd.. they were little to no help, now i’m stuck wondering if my package is still going to get shipped or if it’s lost in transit and i’m receiving another one.. i ordered it for my friends birthday with 2 weeks in advance and now her birthday is in 5 days and im more than likely not receiving my packing since it’s across the united states.. love the store but online service is trash and needs to be reworked with better customer service employees and better ways of shipment.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered 7 t-shirts to be shipped to my son in the military for Christmas. I ordered them on the 20th. I was offered expedited shipping which would get them there by the 23rd. I had 2 options, $25 off expedited shipping (total for that shipping was $36.74), or 30% off my entire order. I chose the faster shipping so he would get them before Christmas. I got a text on the 21st that my items had shipped. Then on the 23rd, a text saying there was a delay. Tracking info showed the items in the area for delivery. Then I got another delay message. I contacted "support" for a refund on my shipping cost and was told I had to wait until they were actually delivered. For the next 6 days I got "delayed" messages. They were finally delivered on the 29th. Not the 23rd, which is what was advertised for the $36 shipping. Now, I understand that shipping can be delayed around the holidays, but the company should make it right. I spoke with them for 2 hours today! I kept getting the same bs answers over and over. Even after all the evidence I produced, they refused to make it right. They said it needed 3 extra days to "process", even after I showed them the screen shot of them already being shipped. They instead offered me a prepaid shipping label to send the items back. They would rather inconvenience me AGAIN by sending the items back, then giving me the $16 back for shipping or my 30% off for the coupon I had. They offered nothing. I cannot believe that a company would rather go this route to be stubborn and save $16. They DO NOT CARE if their customers are happy and taken care of. Just shameful. No wonder they have 1.5 stars and are going out of business.

I should have check this before buying anything from this store. They do not clearly show their return policies and they won’t give you your money back. Either you buy from them or lose your money. Would love to leave 0 stars as my experience with their customer service and online ordering process has been atrocious! Only receiving part of my order on time while still waiting on the rest that will obviously arrive late (if it even arrives). When reaching out to customer service, a representative asked me about my order number and stayed silent after giving it to them and explaining my concerns about the order. Never did hear back from them, so I moved on to emailing them in the hopes that maybe I’ll get an answer in a timely manner (not holding my breath).
