Discrimination/racism? Both! Today, your staff accused the only two brown kids (mine) in the store of stealing a phone someone lost at your store. Your staff approached my kids and told them, if you have the phone, just give it back so that you don’t get into trouble. This racist B did not have any rights to accuse any one, specially a minor. She’s older, light skin, curly black hair, black glasses wearing a T-shirt. This is inexcusable discriminatory and stereotypical behavior. Shame on you. My oldest child had to tell her that they are not thieves. Shame on you and your staff. I tried calling your store and no answer. You make it impossible to contact you directly. Shame on you and your store. Maybe spend $ training better your staff.

First and last time ordering from this place. They offered a buy one get one half off deal in slippers I wanted for my sin. They placed the order than canceled the second, half-off item when they ran out of stock. That alone would not be terrible, but when I called to ask if they could send a second item at the discount price, they said they couldn't help me and that I needed to buy another pair at full price. What a scam. Now I have to go out of my way to make a return. Loser level customer service. I'll never let anyone I know enter one of these stores in my presence.

Do not order from them for delivery!
I ordered a ceramic item that broke in shipment.
They wanted me to drive 40 miles one way to return it so they can throw it in the trash!
They obviously don’t care about the safety of customers or employees to make them handle broken glass! I called and sent a picture so they refunded me the cost of the item but not the shipping! If they had packed it properly so it would not break, I would have received it undamaged! So, I am paying for their mistake. I will never order from them again!

Ordering online from Spencers is a nightmare. The website needs a massive overhaul. The customer service is sad. Their return process is a nightmare. 30 days that they have had my item and I was just told another 7-14 business days. Absolutely ridiculous.

just a beware to anyone ordering online. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR ITEMS THAT ARE NOT IN STOCK. I purchased an item 10 days ago, card was charged, received no confirmation. After not receiving a confirmation I reached out and they confirmed that they oversold it and that the “pending charge” (been out $50 for 10 days) would return to my account in 3-5 day. No apologies, no intent to remedy the situation. After 10 days and the charge is still pending, I reached out again and was told “well it’s 5-8 business days” (at this point it was 9 business days) Again, no apologies for the situation, and many many snarky comments about how they didn’t charge me if there is no order # and if it is technically still pending. Reached out to bank, they say reach out to merchant (Spencers). Merchant says it’s my bank that I am waiting on. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional. At the very least I would be satisfied with an apology and at least some sort of email stating that they oversold the item and what to expect from the “pending charge” process.

We ordered a hard-all on August 28th
FedEx shipped it and on September 3rd it stopped at Rialto and there were no other updates. FedEx today investigation and said it was lost.
We called Spencers and gave them the information and they agreed that yet was lost Said they would send us another one but we told them no... We want a refund. Explain to them that the doll was a gift for birthday on September 13th. Also told them that we went out to Spirit Halloween and found the doll so we were able to give it as a birthday gift. No this is where it gets upsetting they told us that we had to give them a receipt from the store that we bought the doll from. We told them that doesn't make any sense we paid you money for a doll The doll didn't come The doll was meant for a specific event and so we no longer need the doll and you guys are still saying that we need the receipt. Found receipt text it to them. The person said oh I see you got a 10% military discount I said yes but what does that got to do with you paying us the full price. After jumping through hoops we finally got the refund. My wife told them after 40 years of shopping with them that she would not shop with them again which is good for me because she has spent thousands and thousands of dollars but bad for them

Well the returns from this company have now been returned back to me from China!!!
The dresses were rubbish nothing like photos on Instagram, at a cost of £50 plus £25 to return requesting signature from them, it was then said waiting in customs then returned back to me.
Please DO NOT BUY from this absolutely disgusting scam of a company, Spencer and Co of London are in China not UK!!!

Walking into the store i was excited to see the backpack I wanted was on sale with also a discount on top I walked up to the cash and waited the sale girl was talking to her friends and in no hurry to come over finally she put me through and seeing how cheap it was I decided to pick up a few more my granddaughter was eating cotton candy and it fell apart I passed her a paper towel and took the cone part to the cash to throw it out again the sales person ignored us so I did not want to go behind the counter so I left it with the sticky side out so it would stick to the counter I then was back to the backpacks when the sales girl came running over to us yelling at us about leaving garbage on her counter I said out loud I did not want to go behind her cash to put it in the garbage so I left it there she walked away talking to herself and because I had a five year old with me I didn't go back to confront her this was a st laurent shopping center she was tall full bodied with glitter on her chest she was rude and again chatting with other people and not serving people
Paid $28.49 for expedited shipping (guaranteed Aug 8), arrived Aug 11. Amari, Samantha B., Brenna E.(customer service manager), & Jessica A. acknowledged delay but refused refund—shows poor business ethics & disregard for customer service.
Terrible experience....With no mention on the site that returns are to be sent to China at an horrendous cost!

Me and my friend were looking for The Karate Kid t-shirt and we decided to take a look around mind you, we are 14 and the store is rated R for adults and let us in willingly. After we couldn’t find the shirt, we decided to take a look around and wandered to the back and then we horrifyingly discovered the amount of boxes of d1ld0s on the shelf behind us. We were utterly disgusted since it was being publicly sold and anyone could wander out back and see that. The store smelt like cigarettes already which made the experience even more unpleasant. The fact that this store carelessly let two minors wander out back into the ADULT section tells us a lot about your service.Kids could probably have entered the store which would make this situation even worse since they can walk to the back and have to innocently see that. There wasn’t an age restriction sign in the front of the store and there was no warning that it sold inappropriate items and how it was for adults. We are NEVER coming back.
Totally agree with the recent one star reviews. I ordered two dresses which stated on the website they were size 16/18. What I received were more like size 10/12 but when I complained they would not accept that the website sizing guide was incorrect and would only agree a full refund if I returned the goods to China or I could accept a smaller percentage of what I had paid and keep the dresses which were of no use to me. I asked to be referred to a supervisor but got no further with my request for a full refund and a free post label to return the goods. In the end I accepted the partial refund rather than incur the cost of postage to China as I did not trust them to refund the total cost even if I did this.

Being honest and constructive. As each of the previous reviews say...this company is a disgrace. Stealing money from shoppers, allowing a return (£22.75) from UK back to China on top of £60 spent on 2 dresses. Nothing like shown in site. Pictures taken from reputable companies I believe then knocked up and sent. My return is in local depot according to courier, PostNL, waiting for recipient to pay d and t's.....they of course never will. Offered 35% refund !!!! Said they weren't the recipient!!!!

Crap product- crap service. I did not want to award any stars at all but cannot write a review without it. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. I ordered a blouse which looked really good on line. Spent more than I normally would- foolishly believing it would be a quality product. What arrived was a shoddy, garish piece of tat! I returned the blouse - I wouldn't dress my cat in it - and instead of the agreed refund, have received a host of cringeing demanding emails (from a bot I believe) promising plenty but - guess what? - ultimately delivering nothing! I've been had. Don't you!!

This company is out to rip the public off. I thought it was based in Toronto as the name shows Spencer Toronto. The dresses looked lovely & well made so I stupidly ordered 2 at a cost of $130. The dresses are not to size and shoddily made. Poorly made, different sizes for sleeves compared to body of the dress. All in all not worth even half of what they charged. Now, I want to return them but they want them sent back to China before they will refund me. I feel in doing this, I will never get my $ back. Originally they offered me 30% back & I didn't need to return the dresses. I'm waiting to get the latest response. A WARNING TO OTHERS...DON'T BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. They are in business to rip people off & I truly believe they don't care what a person writes about their business. Spencers doesn't even deserve one star!

This company is a scam. I ordered a vest from them almost 3 weeks ago because they were in Canada. They are not. They are in China. After 3 weeks the item has not yet left China according to their tracking. Avoid this company at all costs

Ordered a dress, thinking it was a U.K. supplier. Item arrived some 2 weeks later, having come from China. Ordered size 20/22. Item supplied wouldn’t have fitted a 16/18. Complained to Spencer and asked for a refund. Instead offered a 80% discount on another dress. What’s to say the size of that one would be correct, and I would have to pay extra. If I wanted to return item, it would have cost me at least €20. Why would I want to pay out yet more money for something that was not my fault.
Total SCAM. Keep well clear !!!!

Bought after seeing on Instagram thinking was a uk company. It’s not. It’s in China. Items arrived after nearly 3 weeks. Terrible quality product, nothing like item advertised. Waste of money and when I requested refund they responded via e-mail asking for reason for refund which I provided. I’ve heard nothing more from them. Probably best not to order from Spencer & Co “London” unless you are happy to waste your money.

NONE of these places exit !!
Only 1 of 2 dresses have arrived - the one that has arrived is not what is shown on website. The length is much shorter- the fabtic is not as advertised & its smaller than advertised.
Cant send back as the return cost to CHINA is extortionate.(more then the cost of the dress -TOTAL SCAM AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
