We recently booked a 6-hour cleaning…
We recently booked a 6-hour cleaning service with SpicAndSpan.pt with the expectation of a spotless and meticulously cleaned apartment. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory.
Despite having a clearly laid out task list, essential cleaning jobs were overlooked. Our sofa was left untouched, and the walls still had visible marks after the cleaning session, even though we specifically requested these areas to be cleaned. It was disheartening to find that we had to do additional cleaning ourselves after paying for a professional service.
The duration of the cleaning also left much to be desired. Six hours for an empty 50m² apartment that was already in good condition seems excessive, and we expected a more efficient service.
In conclusion, based on our experience, we cannot recommend SpicAndSpan.pt, especially considering the premium price we paid. We hoped for a thorough and professional cleaning service but were left with a disappointing experience and the additional task of cleaning up ourselves.

Regarding the oversight in the cleaning tasks, we want to emphasize that we had requested specific photos, including those of wall-stains, to provide a more accurate assessment. This information is vital for the cleaners to adequately prepare for your unique needs. Unfortunately, we did not received any of the requested photos, and it's important to note that, had we received them, we would have been able to advise that the walls required painting, not cleaning.
We acknowledge that your expectations were not met, and we understand the inconvenience caused. It's essential to highlight that, as per our terms and conditions, providing photos serves as proof for addressing customer concerns. We had also shared proof from the cleaners in our last email, but unfortunately, we received no response.
While we consistently strive to resolve issues for all our customers, effective communication and evidence play a crucial role in this process. If you have further feedback or if you decide to share additional information, even after the standard time frame, please don't hesitate to reach out. We are more than willing to assist.

If you want reliability, affordable, and convenience, then Spic and Span is a great option. My only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it was hit or miss with the quality of cleaners.

i find the service to be very average and therefore overpriced. i was under the impression that i am hiring a professional cleaning company but what i got was a very regular cleaning service that could have costed me half the amout i paid had i hired an individual.

Very professional service
Three cleaners came who all worked really hard for over two hours. Flat was extremely clean afterwards. They were very professional and friendly. Booking was easy as was payment.
