Ground Up Part #: IT-69 AC vent
This review it’s not about the experience it’s about an expensive product Ground Up Part #: IT-69, I received this part along with a Dash Assembly, from the looks the part looks great but here is the issue, no fasteners or any other “attachments” as specified in the description at the SS396 site, second issue this part is a two vent system, the right side moves freely the left side does not move freely at all it was very poorly assembled, for been made in the USA at $139 retail it’s very disappointing if it was not for the fact that I need to get this car done I would have it returned, it sucks that I pay extra for expedited delivery, quality assembly definitely needs major improvements

I do like the service.
I do like the service. I received my item but unfortunately it did not work after installation and notifying tech support. With tech support troubleshooting assistance and troubleshooting techniques applied, the pump still did not work. In process of requesting a replacement.

Lack of effort?
This is the message I sent . (I ordered JDX-69KV4 ($243), but wanted to order JDX-69KV8 ($261). I need the inner window felts offered by the second product. Can I just pay the difference and get the interior window felts for a 1969 chevelle?)
Customer service responded that "this is not an option. They are sold as a set". I doubt that this is the case. I am betting that an additional order for the two felts that are available in JDX-69KV8 could have been arranged, but the person did not how to make that happen. Resulted in outrageous shipping return cost just to get $20 worth of parts. I understand that I made the mistake, but believe that with a little effort on your end the parts could have been purchased separately.

Thank you for the feedback, Steve. You are correct that this started with an ordering mistake, and we understand why the outcome was frustrating.
In this case, we do not sell the inner window felts separately, so the only option would have been to return the incorrect kit component (CH182A) and reorder the correct kit component (CH195A). That said, we agree the return shipping cost for such a small difference is frustrating. As a gesture of goodwill, we’d be happy to review the return and reimburse the shipping cost you paid out of pocket. Please contact our support team and reference orders SO056190 / SO057034 so we can take care of it.
