We would like to thank Bola Kim and Afshan Malik for the extra mile in completing our new build property purchase. Our initial phone call with Vera gave us a lot of confidence to choose this company, they were not pushy at all and Bola also took her time to explain things. We were working to extremely tight deadlines due to several delays along the way with our initial broker and obtaining our mortgage offer. There were also some issues with the HTB equity loan application process which is why we're deducting 1 star as we felt these could have been avoided. We were so sure we wouldn't be able to complete on Friday but Afshan worked her magic that day it was unbelievable! Thank you guys.

My case was a very complicated case but Mr. Kumaran finished it in a surprisingly short time, shorter than I expected.

My initial phone call with PJ gave me a lot of confidence to choose this company to be our solicitors for our first house purchase. He explained everything and was not pushy at all, which I really liked. Rey was our paralegal. She lacked customer service, and made a couple of mistakes on our paperwork but overall she made the process so quick and easy for us. If she could be a little friendlier and respond to our emails quicker (sometimes a few days had passed to get a reply), we would have rated it as excellent. Thank you, Rey!

Our solicitor was Zahra Shah and she was great to work with during our house buying process. Responded to all our queries as soon as she could, chased up with the other solicitor and had great attention to detail. Even more impressive how quick our process was during the pandemic! Overall, we are extremely happy we chose Stirling as our solicitors in this, and lucky to have Zahra as our solicitor.

*IMPORTANT: Stirling Ackroyd Legal report negative reviews and have them deleted, claiming the reviewer didn’t have ‘a genuine buying experience’. You then have to submit evidence to prove this isn’t the case, which is an inconvenient/lengthy process, hence why they have overall positive reviews.*

I made the mistake of hiring a solicitor from Stirling Ackroyd when purchasing my home and it was the worst experience I've ever had with a company. Her unresponsiveness and negligence very nearly caused my purchase to fall through - rarely responding to emails throughout, missing crucial deadlines, refusing to take any of my calls and providing false information.

I was forced to read up on legal matters myself and contact the seller's representative out of desperation and embarrassment caused by my own solicitor's failures. I decided to switch legal firms half way through the process but soon realised it would complicate matters further and incur more costs so reluctantly continued. I also filed a formal complaint which made little difference.

I was entirely let down by Stirling Ackroyd and I wouldn't wish the stress of dealing with their solicitors on anyone.

Just bought my first home using Stirling Ackroyd and am very happy with the service I received from my solicitor, Zahra Shah. Very patient and accommodating when unexpected issues arose with the seller and throughout all the uncertainty of COVID.

We had Zahra from Stirling Ackroyd for the purchase of our first house. Being new to the complicated house buying process, Zahra was very helpful and always quick to reply to our questions. The estate agents weren’t the best in keeping on top of the chain but Zahra was always up to date, chasing as much as possible and applying pressure to keep things moving. We had last minute issues with our help to buy ISA that could have delayed our exchange & completion but Zahra managed the situation to ensure we still met the agreed date.
