Stonewise did offer a compromise.
We wanted to order some blue patio slabs from the web site, however the site wouldn’t allow us to complete the purchase ,there appeared to be an issue with it. So we telephoned Stonewise and explained the issue, the person we spoke to said that they would send a link via What’s app so that we could order our slabs. This arrived and we placed the order.
However when the delivery arrived the slabs were the black and not blue colouring as we had wanted. It transpired that the link sent was incorrect and we had failed to spot this. We refused to take delivery of the items for which Stonewise wanted to charge us £400 as there were 4 crates in the single delivery which seemed excessive.
We contacted Sonewise about the problem and whilst accept that we didn’t check the link properly we felt that Stonewise we not blameless , and as we had already paid we had very little leverage . We had several conversations with them and they maintained it was our error and that we would need to pay the delivery return charge. We asked if they recorded telephone conversations so we could prove we asked for the blue , the member of staff told us she didn’t know ! We felt this was unfair, and were going to contact Citizens Advice to see what our consumer rights were.
When the next day a Manger telephoned and suggested we split the difference , which we agreed to and ordered the replacement blue slabs.
In summary Stonewise did offer a compromise eventually but we did feel distressed ,we’re in the middle of a big project and are ordering numerous items and this slipped under our radar.

As soon as our management team reviewed the initial call recording, we acknowledged that an incorrect link had been sent from our side, even though the order had progressed through standard confirmation summaries. Recognising this as a shared oversight, we immediately agreed on a fair compromise by waiving £200 of the return fees and arranging the exchange for your Kota Blue slabs.

Customer service is the best I’ve experienced keep you informed of order and delivery, Porcelain slabs arrived well packaged and without fault.I have ordered from different companies in past for this type of slab and nowhere as good as this company so if you want excellent quality and service you won’t go wrong many thanks to all the staff involved with my hassle free order

Good price and delivery but...
Good price and delivery, but the 12 limestone slabs I purchased were not in the best condition, probably the end of a run. 2 were broken and 3 more were chipped in places. TBF They quickly refunded .me the cost tf 3 slabs as compensation per my request. Just hope i dont break any laying them as the 2 were 'spares'.

This company is amazing
This company is amazing! Smooth, quick delivery with helpful drivers. We had a small number of breakages in our second pallet which was dealt with promptly (even though it was the bank holiday!) Customer service was superb and professional throughout. Highly recommended company.

Very easy to use website. Good communication from Stonewise as soon as the order was placed in preparation for the delivery. The delivery was on time, and more importantly the product was every bit as good as I hoped it would be.

Over charging for delivery when it was not my fzult they said the wagon couldnt get down my street so charged me £92.40 for z xmaller wagon and xplit ths delivery but it came on one pallet one wagon scam or what.

As your address originally flagged access restrictions for standard delivery vehicles, our transport network advised that the order would need to be split and delivered in two parts using a smaller vehicle, which incurred the additional surcharge. However, following your review, we investigated directly with the transporter's depot and confirmed that they ultimately managed to deliver your order as a single unit without splitting it.
While our routine monthly transport billing audit would have flagged this discrepancy and triggered an automatic refund, your review allowed us to identify the error early and issue a full refund of £92.40 immediately.

Awful experience
Awful experience. Booked a day off for the delivery and to complete our paving for only 4 tiles of the 20 we ordered to be delivered. After calling 4 times, twice the phone just went dead, a lovely lady said she'd call back. She never did. Instead I got a call froma rude lady who just told me the same as the other one had said so I still have no idea if I'm even ever going to get the missing tiles. I'd avoid, there are plenty of other suppliers out there
Edit. Its not just the days holiday, its the fact we had everything in place to complete last weekend, instead we've been messed around and now were shutting around in the rain. So now it wonr be finished for weeks. You have no idea of the inconvenience you've caused

To clarify what happened: 4 of your original 20 slabs were unfortunately damaged in transit. We immediately dispatched 4 replacement slabs to the depot so your full order could be delivered together. However, the depot made an error—assuming they only needed to dispatch the new replacement pallet rather than delivering it alongside the original 16 undamaged slabs.
As soon as you alerted us, we coordinated with the delivery network to locate the remaining 16 slabs and prioritized their delivery to you. We are also addressing your feedback regarding our customer service communication internally to ensure our team always handles calls with the care and promptness our customers deserve.

Because your order was placed for express delivery with a tight dispatch cut-off to meet the requested delivery date, our customer service team tried reaching you urgently to confirm vehicle access and road conditions.
Transporting heavy goods like paving slabs requires 18–22 tonne lorries, which need clear access to deliver safely. Verifying these details beforehand helps prevent failed deliveries, delays, or additional transport charges for our customers.

3 Pallets of Porcelain Tiles 900x600
From start to finish, it was superb customer service by the Stonewise team. Purchased 3 pallets of porcelain tiles/slabs 900x600. Delivery arrived on-time as expected. Driver was very considerate, he placed all pallets on one side of the driveway on our request. We didn’t have to sign 'all ok' conditions because we never opened the pallets till a week or so later. Once we managed to open all pallets, there were 4 broken tiles found in total. Centre bottom tile from each one of the three pallets was found broken. One pallet had a side tile broken as well. All four broken tiles were fully refunded upon providing a video evidence of tiles together. Very smooth experience overall! Will certainly recommend Stonewise to family & friends. Price was very competitive compared to other mainstream sellers. Thank you Stonewise. 😊
