8 Stunden Arbeitszeit – Absolut unbrauchbar für den professionellen Einsatz
Nur die gravierendsten Mängel:
1. Massiver Datenverlust:
In der letzten Nacht wurden über 8 Stunden harte Arbeit (Sichtung, 360-Grad-Ankerpunkte und Tracking von einer Stunde Rohmaterial) beim Öffnen der nächsten Session einfach komplett gelöscht.
2. Export-Verweigerung:
LUTs, Belichtungseinstellungen und Effekte werden beim Export schlichtweg ignoriert.
3. Defekter Keyframe-Workflow:
Die App ignoriert gesetzte Ankerpunkte, wodurch das Material in völlig falsche Richtungen abspielt.
Speedramps mit Kurven fehlen unglaublicherweise komplett. Stattdessen hat die App 3-4 unnötige „Bearbeitungs-Modis“.
4. Audio-Bugs:
Der Sound verstummt permanent oder hakt so stark, dass ein Schnitt auf den Takt unmöglich ist. Es fehlen professionelle Features wie Speed-Ramping per Kurven-Definition.
5.
Effekte & Übergänge:
Kann man nicht „sehen“, da alles hakt, wenn man es mit Musik abspielt. Sowieso ist die Musikbibliothek „defekt“ - Manche Songs spielen nicht ab, andere Songs haben andere Probleme - und keine Option den Sound auf mehreren Spuren zu erweitern oder zu ergänzen.

Wenn man den Support kontaktiert, um auf diese kritischen Produktionsfehler hinzuweisen, wird man als Kunde als kostenloser Beta-Tester missbraucht. Man soll Logs einsenden, Screen-Recordings machen und Gigabytes an Original-Footage hochladen, um Fehler zu beweisen, die die interne Qualitätssicherung vor dem Release hätte finden müssen. Im professionellen B2B-Bereich fehlt dafür schlichtweg die Zeit.

Fazit:
Wer mit seinen Videos Geld verdient oder Workshops anbietet, geht hier ein massives unternehmerisches Risiko ein. Ich verkaufe mein gesamtes Insta360-Equipment und werde ab sofort jedem meiner Kunden und Workshop-Teilnehmer aktiv von Produkten dieses Herstellers abraten. Teuer bezahlte Hardware nützt nichts, wenn die Software die Arbeit von ganzen Nächten vernichtet.
Aus diesem Grund werde ich alles von insta360 zurückgeben bzw. verkaufen und zu einem funktionierenden Anbieter wechseln.
Spart euch die Zeit und schont eure Nerven.

Deceptive VAT scam and fraudulent shipping practices! Beware! This company is using a highly deceptive and fraudulent invoicing scheme for EU customers.
When I purchased a camera from their official website, they charged me the full amount including 20% EU VAT (€46.50), promising hassle-free delivery. However, they secretly issued two completely different invoices. The customer invoice shows VAT was collected, but the official shipping invoice sent to FedEx was marked as "CIP" (Carriage and Insurance Paid), meaning VAT was NOT paid to the customs!
They attempted to force me to double-pay the taxes at the border and handle the customs clearance myself, effectively pocketing the VAT I already paid them. When I caught them and refused the delivery, they panicked and tried to pay the fees to FedEx 5 days late, but it was too late.
The package is now returning , and I have initiated a chargeback with my bank. Total scammers! Avoid purchasing directly from their website—use local EU distributors instead. "Suckers360" at its finest.
To insta 360:I actually really wanted this go 3s retro bundle and was looking forward to using it, but you ruined the whole experience with your scam.

Misleading return policy and horrible after sales service
I loved the X5 camera and decided to o ly buy authentic accessories from their official store.
Biggest mistake of my life as the accessories were garbage and don’t work….but more importantly is I’ve spent days communicating back and forth and they will not issue a full refund stating user error.
They a 15 day return policy even if you’re not happy with the product stated on their website is misleading as they absolutely will not honour it.

Sunt extrem de dezamăgit de politica celor de la Insta360 privind activarea dispozitivelor. Am achiziționat o cameră, iar în momentul de față dețin un obiect fizic inutilizabil deoarece producătorul refuză să permită activarea acesteia prin aplicație fără prezentarea unei facturi de achiziție.
Este de neînțeles cum un hardware plătit integral este „luat ostatic” de un software care condiționează funcționarea de documente fiscale. Există numeroase situații legitime în care nu mai deții factura (cadouri, achiziții second-hand de la persoane fizice sau pur și simplu pierderea documentului după o perioadă).
Puncte critice:
Proprietatea asupra produsului: Odată ce am cumpărat camera, ar trebui să am dreptul de a o folosi fără bariere software arbitrare. Lipsa de flexibilitate: Suportul tehnic refuză orice soluție alternativă, transformând un produs premium într-o „cărămidă” electronică (e-waste). Experiența utilizatorului: Nicaieri pe ambalaj nu scrie clar că dispozitivul nu va funcționa deloc fără dovada achiziției încărcată în serverele lor.
Nu recomand acest brand oricui dorește să aibă control deplin asupra echipamentului pe care îl cumpără. Dacă nu aveți factura salvată într-un seif, riscați să rămâneți cu o cameră de sute de euro pe care nu o puteți porni.

Day after ordering a package (which originally had a 7 day wait for stock) I contacted customer services to try to amend the order. On live chat for 30 mins but 10 mins after contacting them (and waiting), surprisingly order moves to despatched phase and agent says nothing more can be done and that I should keep the one item (that I actually wanted to exchange for a more expensive item) rather than return it for a refund as would have to pay for return shipping.

Beware Insta360 Customer Support
This review is about Insta360 Customer Support, not their products. In a word, Insta360 Customer Support was horrible.
Background: I bought the Insta360 X4 Basic Bundle through the Insta360 online store. It was shipped using Amazon, and arrived a day or two later. So, *sold* by Insta360 and *shipped* by Amazon.
The Issue: The X4 box had the camera and all the parts (battery, cable, etc.) but was missing the Lens Guards. This is where everything fell apart and Insta360 fell down.
The Failure: I contacted Insta360 about the missing lens guards, only to have them tell me “Because it was an Amazon order, you must go to them.” What?? It was an Insta360 order, from the Insta360 online store, with an Insta360 Order Number. Nonetheless, I contacted Amazon. They pointed the finger back at Insta360, citing them as the seller. Besides, there was no Amazon Order Number for Amazon to work with. This back-and-forth finger pointing between Insta360 and Amazon went on FOUR TIMES via chat and email. Over 2 hours of my time altogether, denied by each party four times with the same answer, all over $30 lens guards.
The Resolution: I sent a final email to Insta360 just to express my frustration, point out the black hole/endless loop they’d found (created?) between Insta360(seller) and Amazon(shipper), and let them know I’d be posting reviews of their horrible Customer Support. Surprise! They responded to that email and said they’d reconsidered and would ship me the missing Lens Guards.
Conclusion: Insta360 agents used cut-and-paste verbiage every time, like “We’re sorry” and “We understand how frustrating this must be” and “Since this was an Amazon order”[it wasn’t]. They clearly didn’t read what I was telling them, and they wouldn’t budge, *until* I said I was writing reviews about this experience.
Bottom Line: Be wary of Insta360 Customer Support and for goodness sake, don’t buy anything from the Insta360 store that will be *shipped* by Amazon, or you may end up in their endless loop of finger pointing if there’s a problem.
Customer service is absolute garbage
Customer service is absolute garbage. I purchased the warranty and also signed up for the monthly subscription which includes a warranty as well. A piece broke on it and yet it isn’t covered under either warranty. I sent it in for repair and they shipped it back to the wrong address. Fed Ex said that the address could be corrected but that only the shipper could correct it. I spent 2 weeks trying to get them to call and correct the address but they never did. It was supposed to be returned to the shipper and now they claim it got lost. But they won’t provide me a tracking number, replacement, or even respond to me. It’s been 2 months now since they received it and I was adamant that I needed it for a trip coming up.

J’ai acheté le support sac à dos / harnais de la marque Insta360 l’année dernière, avant de partir au ski.
Prix : environ 80 €.
👉 Utilisé une seule fois.
👉 Cassé dès la première utilisation.
Lors de ma sortie, la tige en fibre de carbone s’est littéralement brisée, nette, sans choc particulier ni mauvaise manipulation. Résultat : la caméra s’est détachée et est tombée dans la neige.
Heureusement, une personne derrière moi m’a interpellé pour m’indiquer que ma caméra était tombée, sans quoi je l’aurais probablement perdue définitivement.
Je précise que :
le produit était neuf
utilisé dans des conditions normales, précisément pour l’usage pour lequel il est vendu
je n’ai aucune vidéo de la chute, car l’enregistrement n’était pas encore lancé (ce qui est logique au moment du départ)
De retour de vacances, j’ai contacté le support Insta360.
S’en sont suivis plusieurs échanges, avec :

explications détaillées
👉 Conclusion du support : refus total de prise en charge.
Selon eux, le produit n’est pas défaillant et la responsabilité serait entièrement la mienne.
Autrement dit :
un accessoire censé être robuste et sécurisé
qui casse dès la première utilisation
et met en danger un matériel coûteux
→ n’est pas considéré comme défectueux par Insta360.
Résultat final :
80 € perdus
un accessoire inutilisable
aucune solution
aucune reconnaissance du problème
un sentiment total de mépris du client
Je trouve cela inacceptable, surtout pour une marque qui se positionne comme “premium”.
Un support qui casse net dès la première sortie est un défaut de conception ou de matériau, point final.

Je déconseille fortement cet accessoire, et plus largement la confiance accordée à Insta360 sur ce type de matériel de fixation, où la sécurité de la caméra est pourtant essentielle.

Commande passée sur le site Insta360 le 24/11/2025 pour un montant de 551 €.
Le colis a été déclaré « livré » par le transporteur, alors qu’il ne m’a jamais été remis.
Aucune remise en main propre n’a eu lieu, aucune signature n’a été recueillie,
le colis ayant été prétendument déposé dans une zone commune non sécurisée
(au-dessus des boîtes aux lettres).
Ce mode de livraison ne constitue pas une preuve de remise effective au sens du
Code de la consommation.
Conformément à l’article L216-4, le vendeur demeure responsable du bien
jusqu’à sa remise physique au consommateur.
Malgré de nombreuses relances, Insta360 n’a fourni aucune preuve de livraison valable
(récépissé signé, identification du destinataire)
et n’a proposé ni remboursement ni solution conforme à ses obligations légales.
Le service client a ensuite cessé toute réponse.
Le client se retrouve contraint d’engager seul des démarches administratives lourdes
(banque, assurance, dépôt de plainte) pour un manquement relevant de la responsabilité du vendeur.
Cette expérience révèle une gestion défaillante des litiges liés à la livraison
et un manque de considération envers le consommateur.
Je ne recommande pas cette entreprise.

Nice to have free shipping even when ordering from abroad. Got my X5 accessories within 8 days. Wouldn't mind a few more shipping options, but no major complaints.
