Had a solid experience buying my GO 3 camera from the Insta360 site. Checkout was smooth, and delivery took about a week. Camera arrived working perfectly.

I purchased insta 360 camera bundle on official website, was super excited as always wanted to try this and use on ski trip, got email confirmation it was dispatched, after few days no further email updates, checked tracking updates and says it's been delivered and proof of delivery is picture of some random road not showing anything remotely related to my house or even actual item, I flagged this with customer service but they could not care less, after days of emailing they offered me 10% discount and to buy it again, it's unbelievable!! Why would I pay again for something I never received?! They telling me that they challenged handler ( Royal Mail) but claim was rejected, in my mind why would that be a problem of mine? I did not ask them to use Royal Mail, and if they scamming them they still should resend my item with someone else making sure will arrive and then battle delivery company themselves! If something been paid should be delivered or ask for collection

One star, just like the number of items I actually received out of the two I ordered back in August.
I purchased a mic windshield cover and a 512GB microSD card, but the microSD never arrived.
I immediately contacted customer support to report the issue, but I was not refunded or compensated in any way because I didn’t have an unboxing video proving the missing item. Honestly, I never expected to need to film myself opening a package (especially from a company like Insta360, from which I expected reliability and professionalism).
So here’s my advice to all future buyers: record your unboxing, just in case.
It’s frustrating that such excellent cameras and accessories are paired with such disappointing service and delivery reliability.

I'm from an era when you bought something it worked straight out of the box, for this Insta360 Ace 2 Pro to work I needed to download a senseless app to activate the camera?!? What kind of client unfriendly methods are these? So this camera will only work by the grace of an internet connection and future existence of the Insta company. I've returned this product immediately after finding this kind of malpractices. Shame on you Insta360!!

Customer Service not present. No response in chat for over a week. No response to emails for over a week. And this is for sales. I guess for customer returns, technical issues, it will be even worse. Glad I didn't buy the product and only enquired about it. They don't want me as client. Glad it will stay that way. Do not bother buying this product. If you will have issues, their CS never responds.

Me parece increíble que una compañía como esta, que vende productos bastante caros no tenga un servicio de devolución o cambio gratuito y en condiciones. Compré una funda submarina y por error del modelo tuve que devolverla. Ni siquiera generan una etiqueta de devolución con mensajero, todo es un intercambio de emails muy tedioso y he terminado pagando 18€ para enviar un producto de vuelta a una tienda en otro país. No volveré a comprar ahí. Si tan modernos y costosos son, modernícense.

My WiFi internet connection shows upload speed of 650Mbs. My Camera is uploading to the Insta Cloud, on that WiFi, but it is only managing to upload at speeds between 8 and 14 Mbs. Why?
But is gets worse. The software is some of the worst software I've ever seen. It is riddled with so many bugs it is unusable

Nous avons réalisé une commande d'un montant de 500€ avec ma copine comprenant le Insta360 X3 + accessoires début décembre 2024.
La commande est arrivé très vite et nous étions ravis car nous avons acheté la caméra pour un voyage prévu en janvier 2025.
Il s'agit de notre cadeau de Noel donc nous avons hésité à l'ouvrir et heureusement que nous l'avons fait ! Car en testant l'appareil se fut une catastrophe !
Il est arrivé complétement défectueux (il s'allume s'éteint seul, il change les réglages et se met à entrer dans les menus seul, l'enregistrement fonctionne 1fois sur 2, la batterie ne tient pas, …)
Ce sont des choses qui arrivent de tomber sur une mauvaise série mais si je poste aujourd'hui un avis si négatif c'est surtout pour le SERVICE CLIENT / APRES-VENTE !
Je les contacte en commençant à détailler ce qu'il m'arrive, au début ils me répondent très vite et j'envoie toutes les preuves (vidéos, …).
Et là, la personne me dit de renvoyer le produit et qu'il sera examiné en réparation, et que seulement si il est "éligible" il sera réparé et renvoyé !
Je réponds en disant que cela allait prendre du temps, des semaines ou des mois et que j'aurais préféré renvoyer le produit et qu'on m'en envoie un autre et là plus aucune réponse ! Je relance plusieurs fois pour être rassuré du moins sur les délais et plus rien !
Le PIRE c'est que je vois sur leur site que des frais de réparation vont être appliqués !!!
Donc je récapitule : Je passe une commande à 500€ > L'appareil est complètement défectueux > Je dois le renvoyer pour réparation, je suis même pas sûr que cette dernière soit acceptée et si elle l'est je vais devoir payer des frais supplémentaires !
Je paye et je vais attendre des semaines pour "peut-être" avoir mon produit fonctionnel ?
C'est une honte, je vous conseille de ne jamais commander chez eux et d'opter pour une marque plus sérieuse !

Mixed experience...
This was initially a 1-star review as, for all practical purposes, their store charged $500 but never sent a confirmation email, never sent a shipping email, and customer support was unresponsive. When I did finally get an email back, it was to request details I was never given as they were already told, and the situation seemed stuck.
Fast-forward to a few days later after my credit card company initiated a dispute and the original order magically appears in my email along with a shipping confirmation. That tells me that the record did exist in some form, it had just gotten "lost" somehow. The camera did arrive as advertised, it's amazing, I cancelled the dispute, and this company is reputable. I'm not sure how this happened but it is something to be mindful of, especially during periods of heavy shipping like the holidays.

Bref, fidèle client d'Insta360, je le reste, assurément.

What a bunch of jokers! The return policy? Non existent. If you want to return anything send it back at your own expense to HONG KONG!!! Yes - there products are excellent but as for any kind of customer support …. Forget it!!
