Very helpful young man. Sorted out my problem

Deane helped find upgraded accommodation at a very good price in Budapest

This is a company to be avoided at all costs.

Myself and my partner booked a holiday package with Super Escapes, half board accommodation at a 4 star hotel with flights and transfers. When we arrived, we found that we were not booked in to the 4 star hotel we had paid for, but instead had been moved to a different 3 star hotel. Having contacted Super Escapes, it transpired that the hotel we originally booked could not provide a half board break, so Super Escapes took it upon themselves to change our booking to the different, lower quality hotel without ever informing us or giving us the right to refusal or a refund. We literally found out when we arrived at the reception of the hotel we thought we were staying at and found no booking in place for us. Super Escapes admitted that they had made the changes without contacting us. Not only is this horrendous service on the most fundamental level, it's also illegal.

The representatives of the company did eventually move us back to the original hotel but were unhelpful, offered no compensation for the fact we now had to pay for our evening meals, and generally made us feel like we were somehow inconveniencing them.

Our transfer also did not collect us on the way back, meaning we had to book an expensive taxi last minute, and again Super Escapes were unhelpful and offered us just £20 compensation for the inconvenience, not even covering the original transfer cost, never mind the replacement taxi.

Our experience is closer to what I would expect of a scam operator, and I can only hope that Super Escapes shoddy practices put them out of business before too many other people's holiday experiences are ruined by them.

I was looked after my a charming operator Deane. Although, he couldn’t resolve my issue with the pedantic airliner, he did try his best.

I had a slight problem with my booking. Dylan sorted this out for me.
Dylan was excellent. It was a pleasure dealing with him. He explained everything in detail; he was very polite, courteous and very professional. I was very impressed the way he handles everything.

The overall experience of Super Escapes is great. The team Are very supportive and patient with any request or changes you might need to make for your booking . I spoke to rebeka and deane from the team and they helped me throughout my stay and my booking. Deane especially helped me with rescheduling my holiday and adding ztra days. I enjoyed it so much I wanted to be there longer.

I had a problem with one of our passengers checkin for ryanair. Linda dealt with the problem and the team checked us all in.

When I tried to make some enquiry today. The call operator was very rude and seems to be mentally disturbed . If the call operator was like this then no one is going to book anything with them . Pathetic customer service.

If I could give them 0 stars, would be fairer... Called them on 10th of July for a 3-day trip to Brugge (Belgium) 187£/person. The first agent (his name Oscar!!!) tried to close the deal, changing train times and prices everytime. After a while, the line disconnected, I had a call back from another guy who presented himself as a supervisor and told me that he is going to finalise the deal( meantime they got all my Credit card details including CCV). As he was reading through the deal for confirmation I discovered that the 2nd connection train from Brussels to Brugge should be paid by me!!!. I refused to do so, and asked for the deal to be cancelled because I was not interested anymore. At that point he started to threaten me that you can't cancell it, and we will charge you the whole amount of 400£(2 persons). I told him that you can't take my money without my permission and he replied that you gave us your Card details!!! When I told him that I will call the police and inform my bank about this, he simply replied to me I don't care, go ahead!!! I called my bank provider and cancelled my Credit card.The next day I called the customer service number to raise a complaint about this and the guy who picked the phone (his name Luke!!!) told me that there is not any supervisor or someone else in charge to speak with me. 02035988667 the first number I spoke to them and 0121 8384756the second one. At some point I am disappointed even with Travelzoo (I am a club member there), because through their site I found out about this Super Escape scam company. STAY AWAY FROM THEM.....

Absolute waste of my time. I was directly called a liar by the sales person because I had found a better price, and when I asked for a deal to be sent by email, it never arrived My complaint was never answered. So I ask, would you trust them with your holiday plans?!

I enquired about a deal I had seen on Travel Zoo and was told the hotel advertised was out of the city limits and they recommended another within the city. It was an Aparthotel and sounded good. I was promised that the room would overlook a garden area and that it was at least a 3 star establishment, he had just sent 3 other couples to this destination, and my "tourist tax" was 6.50 euros per person per night. To my horror upon arrival at the rather scruffy looking entrance, everything was locked up. A family coming out told me that the reception was only open till 2pm, it was now 6.30pm after a flight and bus transfer to the city and a further Metro ride to the vicinity. I managed to telephone the manager of the aparthotel and spent 15 minutes trying to photo 2 passport details and send them to him. When that was done he then sent a link for paying the tourist tax of 9.50euros per person per night. Super Escapes are a load of con merchants and I will not have any further dealing with them in future. The room was reasonable but lacking in basic amenities and a broken shower and toilet seat. Self catering was a 2 burner hob with 1 large pan and a dirty looking large dish. Cutlery was a joke with not a teaspoon in sight.

Eva Pedro in customer support was very efficient at solving my query.
She is very professional at her job.
I was very pleased that she did not give up until my whey was resolved.

I used this company to book my 60th birthday away and I never knew what I was getting myself into. The hotel was wonderful let me say this now. When I reach Turkey I couldn’t find my pick up driver, I have to walk around asking them I found them. I paid for four of us to travel and also transport and only three persons name was on the list, I have to pay for the other person to travel. Coming back I had the same issue even though I asked them if everyone is on the booking back they said yes and then I have to pay again. Came back home spoke to them about my experience and all they were offering was £60 in vouchers and £20 in my account back. They are a set of criminal company. On that when I got my phone bill I was charged all most £ 500 just speaking to them about my travelling back home. And there was another lady that was to travel with us she pulled out about a month before we go and I informed them and when I called to finish pay off the holiday they said I need to pay for her also and if I didn’t I would loose my holiday. So they get that money and still steal more money from me. Never used them

Through Travel Zoo I contacted Super Escapes. Turned out to be a stressful experience. Of course, the holiday I was interested in was not available. Still I was bombarded with alternatives. Agreed to one and paid. Then she told me I was going to be transferred to a 'verifier' to verify my details. All he did was try to get me to upgrade my room, even change to a different hotel. Pressure, high selling and was beginning to feel like a scam. Eventually I agreed to a room upgrade which I now know I probably paid more for. Started off at £449 for 1 week and remarkably went down to £249. Told me 12 other couples had booked this and were extremely happy, insinuating why wasn't I? He also took the payment from my credit card where before it had to be done via an Internet connection for immediate processing.

The constant phone calls and pressure to accept this upgrade coming from a travel agency was unbelievable. The telephone numbers that were used were coming up as potential fraud or scam.

I was happy with the original holiday I paid for and the service I received. Regretfully, this person called 'Max' who I was passed through to for verification altered my experience.

Fortunately, for me the holiday worked out. I received all documentation on time and it all ran smoothly. From the flight, transfers and hotel. Even the boarding passes arrived when due. Its a shame that Super Escapes feel the need to do this. I have absolutely no idea why the customer services representative couldn't have offered me an upgrade in the first place. Our flight changed with TUI and Secret Escapes immediately notified me. For this reason I will give them 3 stars but would I use them again and recommend them? Sadly no.

Don’t go near this company .
Like any company ,They might great when things go smoothly, but when you need help to resolve or change things , believe me , all this company does
is change the goalposts and the costs escalate and escalate.
The company is not a travel agent .
It is a booking agent .
They use third party companies to book your holiday and then you are dealing with a company you have no idea who you are dealing with and no control over .
I will never ever use this company again .
I will never recommend this company to anyone .
And I will also be advising Travelzoo of my experience with this company .
We all live and learn so learn by my mistake and keep well away from,
Book with someone you know and try and price match instead .
I should have known better , once bitten twice shy . Or should I say never again

This was our first experience with Super Escapes and, although i was hesitant initially, i found them professional and helpful. All the staff i dealt with were very efficient and helped me through the process. However, it would be good to be able to speak to the same person on each occasion, as i felt it was not consistent and i would have preferred to speak to the same person. Our 3 nights in Budapest went very smoothly and we were pleased with the confirmation for the 10 passengers and the 2 that couldn't make it. Overall the city break in Budapest was great and the Escala Hotel was excellent and the transport booked was very efficient. The agent also checked us all in for the outbound and the inbound journey which made it so easy for me and our journey streefree. Thank you to superescapes and i will def be booking with you again
