Poor service
I booked this for my birthday and they cancelled on the day. A few hours before saying that it was a mistake as they don’t usually have weekend bookings. The lady didn’t offer me any compensation for such last minute cancellation. Just said have a refund.

Website gives no telephone number so rang from contact number on Google direct with shop Floral street. Explained that my 13year old daughter for her birthday wanted both 1st and 2nd piercings done together. They insisted this would be ok and just to book a Minnie package ! Don’t worry about extra time for the appointment and quoted me the package plus four earrings at £195. On arrival at store booking having travelled over 100 miles to London specially! Initial reception not great and kept waiting! Not made to feel special with no offer of a drink on hot day whilst waiting! Then to be told they will only do three piercings in one go not four! They were thinking of doing four but charging another £25. No apology for the incorrect information given on call prior to attending! Made to feel we were the awkward ones even though we had checked by phone call prior. Left with refund after a very sad and upsetting experience. No ear piercings. Poor show! Ruined a birthday treat and special trip to London!

I am so sorry to hear of your experience and there had been some miscommunication before your visit.
I believe the person that supplied the information prior to your visit was not our piercer and wasn’t aware of the maximum amount of piercings we can offer. We have now informed this member of staff.
As a standard for everyone who visits, we only offer a maximum of three piercings. This is because, whilst it is quick and the piercer tries to relax the clients before the piercing, it is still a small trauma to the body and from experience, it is the safest way to ensure that the person can cope, let alone on a young child.
We have made this clear to all of our staff members to avoid such instances happening in future.

No Customer Service, It actually doesn't exist.
A little bit of a shady company in my opinion.
I ordered a gift for my girlfriend in advance of her birthday and it arrived, although her birthday wasn't for three more weeks so I put it away.
She decided she would prefer something else. So I spent over one week trying to contact customer service, however the number they provide does not exist and never ever rings.
So after trying for days I contacted Selfridges, who has to contact thealkemistry by email to enquire about a refund as I was over 28 days of purchase.
They declined the refund as I was over 28 days, even though they do not provide correct details for customer service/ returns.
I would not recommend anyone buy from this company.
As an FYI, the reason my girlfriend didn't like the gift is that it the jewellery looks cheap.
