easy to use plenty of choice and good quality

The beer and brandy I ordered turned up fine but the boerswurs I ordered turned up moldy and a bottle of cider was opened and leaking. I suspected the worst (pardon the pun) when the delivery was delayed by two weeks and when it arrived the iceoacks for keeping the meat fresh had melted. A shame really.

By far the best biltong I have tasted via an online purchase. Your delivery was super speedy and I look forward to my next shopping spree. I also don't often leave reviews, but I felt that you most certainly deserved a review and I was pleased to offer it.

Wonderful fresh goods, biltong is out of this world and the staff are very friendly and polite. As a South African away from home- they certainly make it feel more homey up here in the UK.

Products are good and the shipments are on time

What a shame, when I lived in Wimbledon I would go here a lot, today I went, biltong has no flavour, lacking the chilli that I asked for, the droewors not great, no garlic and not great, can’t fault the staff, so helpful, need to speak to who ever is doing the biltong. Really disappointing. Good luck.

I visited Savanna expecting a warm, welcoming experience, especially given the strong South African theme. Unfortunately, the service was really disappointing. No one was friendly or approachable, and I didn’t feel welcomed at all while browsing the shop.

I specifically went to the fridge section where there were several South African drinks. I picked up a Fanta Orange, assuming it was the South African version, which was the whole reason I wanted it. Only after purchasing it, opening it, and tasting it did I realise it was the UK version instead.

This was frustrating, as the drink was displayed among South African products and there was no clear indication that it wasn’t imported. At that point, it was obviously too late to do anything about it.

Overall, between the poor service and the misleading product placement, the experience was disappointing and not something I’d be eager to repeat.
