Very easy process to book, receive & return! We hired a bouncer and it was in great condition and so helpful for our trip - will definitely use Tiny Explorers next time we visit the UK 😊

I wish i could put no stars at all. Rented a pram that got delivered broken (wheel is stuck and one other bit is broken). I reported it via whatsapp (only way to "talk" to someone and all i had for a solution was "come and get a replacement one", which us 1,5 hours away from us. No apology, no solution provided. Just a return form! I asked to talk to someone, no call. I called, no answer. A day before our holidays we have no pram and have to look for one. This is beyond unacceptable! Issues can happen but the fact that a paying customer has to drive 1,5 hours to get a workong product is out of this world. The lack of apology and care is also never seen before! Thanks for screwing our holidays!

Hi Marion,

We see you've used us before so know how seamless our service usually is. We delivered your order a day early (we do this to ensure any issues can be rectified before you travel, we ask that any issues are reported within 24 hours of delivery again to ensure any issues can be resolved.

I see late this afternoon you've requested an item to reach you before 10am tomorrow morning, sadly DPD only offer a pre 1030 service which wasn't suitable for you. We offered a full refund of course and did offer for you to visit your closest branch to collect another item. Neither solution was acceptable to you sadly. We note you called our hotline 12 times late this afternoon after we closed for the day. Sadly our hotline isn't manned out of hours.

We had therefore organised a member of staff to go back into the warehouse this evening to send a replacement via city sprint who agreed they could deliver this evening, sadly there is no answer on your mobile.

Please return the item for a full refund where it'll be inspected. The wheel must have been impacted during transit sadly.

This is our second time renting a pram…

This is our second time renting a pram from tiny explorers rental, and we will be returning back for our next holiday too. All the products are so reasonably priced and 100% worth it. The yoyo pram is our favourite and takes the stress out of the airport chaos and even better you can take it onto the plane. 100% recommend this company and also have amazing custom service - helping me to track down my last AirPods which I left in the pram and had them returned safely back to me!

Everything worked so smoothly

Everything worked so smoothly, it's such a great scheme! The car seat was in very good condition and perfectly clean. It arrived on time and was just what I'd expected.

100% recommend!

Tiny explorers have been helpful and understanding from the start of the journey! We had a failed closed hip reduction for our little girl and they allowed us to keep the money in credit for the next operation. They posted us our car seat within good time for her operation over the Christmas period. Communication has been excellent and very convenient for busy mums through using WhatsApp! I cannot fault this service, it has made one part of a very stressful journey a lot easier! 100% recommend! ☺️

Support delays and demands

Unfortunately this organisation seems a little dysfunctional, giving multiple options of item return but threatening a fee for using one of those methods? It took weeks to receive a support response trying to figure out how to return the pump. Ultimately other priorities came up (as parents of a newborn) and the pump was returned late, so fair enough to charge for additional time, however they seemed to not know where their product was after return, and used the information I willingly shared about that late return to extract £60 from the situation. They also initiated a request for money via whatsapp at 8pm which felt scammy as its not even during their own business hours, and I had no real way to confirm the bank details were legitimate. £60 to not deal with a dysfunctional company ever again is perfectly acceptable to me.

Excellent service

The process of renting a car seat was smooth and easy. Instructions on how to return the car seat was very clear. Customer service was excellent and I received very prompt responses via whatsapp. Will happily rent from Tiny Explorers again.

Fantastic easy process from start to…

Fantastic easy process from start to finish. I wasn’t able to use the heavy pram we were gifted after giving birth so rented a much lighter, compact pram for a few weeks. Delivery and returns were really easy and communication was great.

Great service from Tiny Explorers. We rented a fly away which worked perfectly for our son. Renting allowed us to try it out without the cost of buying and the process was really straightforward. Would absolutely recommend

My experiences of Tiny Explorers

I have put off leaving a review for some time, but after seeing a number of recent negative reviews, I feel it is important to share my own experience.

To be clear, I accept that some of the initial issues were my responsibility. I was poorly organised at the outset and did not communicate effectively. I also experienced difficulties returning the products, as my local parcel shop would not accept the parcel due to its size.

However, what followed over the subsequent months was deeply upsetting for me. From my perspective, the tone and manner of communication left me feeling intimidated and belittled, and I became increasingly concerned about how my situation was being handled.

I am currently involved in a legal dispute with the company. This arose after I asked for clarification regarding late fees, which I did not fully understand and believed may have been significantly higher than expected, and also raised concerns about how my personal data was being handled. I did not feel these concerns were adequately addressed.

I was previously issued with an invoice for the replacement cost of products totalling over £1,000, and within a short period a claim was made against me through the small claims court. I attended mediation and made an offer to settle based on figures I believed were accurate, but an agreement was not reached.

I am sharing this review cautiously, as past communications have left me worried about possible repercussions, including statements that caused me concern regarding contact with my employer.

When things go well with this company, the service can be very good. However, based on my experience and the volume of similar concerns raised in other reviews, I believe there are significant issues with how customer complaints and disputes are handled. This is disappointing, as the business model itself appears strong in theory.

Update: Following the publication of this review, I was contacted directly by the company and informed that they intended to publicly share my review alongside allegations about my conduct and to pursue additional financial claims in connection with this review.

As a result, I will not be engaging in any further direct communication. All correspondence has been retained as evidence.

Rude staff and no communication

The company was unable to provide the stroller I had ordered, so they sent a replacement which did not work for my child. They eventually sent the original order 5 days later than what was paid for. I waited 4 weeks to hear anything back about a refund for the 5 days I’d paid for but didn’t the original stroller, after reaching out multiple times I finally received an email back advising the refund was processed, but I then received an extremely rude and argumentative response via WhatsApp by someone who seemed to be unaware someone else had contacted me.
The customer service was appalling and clearly lack of communication between staff.

HI Chloe,

We see you placed a last minute order for a large babyjogger pram (29th Dec for delivery31st Dec), our team reached out and advised that as it was the Christmas period our courier who delivers oversized items would not be able to deliver on the requested date. We offered a different item to reach you in time or a full refund, you chose the substitute item which was delivered as requested. You advised us this item wasn't suitable post delivery so we collected and exchanged for the original item.

Your hire end date was 16/1, the item arrived back with us on 18/1 and customer service advised we would refund you the £20 (despite paying twice for shipping the substitute you agreed to. Refunds can take up to 30 days this is standard for most retailers although often occurs quicker. We see the money arrived into your account today so the process time was 10 working days in total.

We see however despite this you've contacted us on multiple platforms threatening negative reviews and comments to receive your refund faster. Sadly we are bound by transactional time estimates and again these are standard for all UK businesses.

Sorry to hear you're unhappy but I see our staff went above and beyond to assist over the Xmas period (a time we are usually closed).

Second time renting!

Second time renting from Tiny Explorers, great experience! Rentals arrived earlier than expected, retuning was easy. The initial spectra rental made me want to buy my own, as I wasn’t sure. Glad I did it! This time I rented a Doona car seat/stroller for a trip and it made it SO easy. Will definitely rent from TE again!

quick delivery and great quality items

Super quick delivery and a great quality items. I was let down by another rental business at the last minute. I was able to get the item I needed with Tiny Explorers delivered quickly and found their service to be fantastic, the product was also new /very good condition so I was really pleased.
