Train has been cancelled everyday this week causing me to miss my important meeting therefore losing my job. Now my child does not have a bed and we both have to sleep on the floor. I am currently working 3 jobs now to try and buy my daughter’s birthday present which is exhausting me. This is unacceptable.
Twice Ulsterbus let me down
Twice Ulsterbus let me down. I was at a stop early and when the bus came it went passed and didn't stop. I had left work early to specifically get this one and was left at stop for a full hour to wait for the City bus which was late. This was at gasworks in Belfast going to Cairnshill park and ride.
Then recently I was at the park and ride to catch a 3pm bus. That bus didn't turn up. I had paid for fare yet on complaining I was declined a refund. Excuse that there were other buses - yes, if I could wait a further 2 hrs and 15 minutes. There were no others from the park and ride in-between for travelling anywhere.

Follow the train schedule and they leave early. Great service and typical for this county. Need a United Ireland asap.
Terrible service
Terrible service. Bangor train line, when they cancel a train that stops at all the stops. That’s fine, issues happen but the annoying thing is that then the next train 10 mins later is an express. Common sense would mean turn the express into one that stops. Would still get everyone to work on time or collect people who have been waiting. But Translink doesn’t want the stats where one is cancelled and one is late so they just whizz past everyone waiting, this means they only post the stats of one train cancelled.
Waited for me at the bus stop
I'm a 13 year old boy who gets the bus every week to play a bit of football with some friends. On my way there, the bus was very stop start, but the driver reassured us that we would be up and running soon. 2 minutes later, we were moving again. On the way back, the app said that I needed to be at the bus stop for 17:26. At around 17:20, I saw a blue bus go past. I didn't think it was my bus, so I continued walking. I got to the shore road and noticed that the bus was still at my stop with the hazard lights on. I sprinted to the bus and somehow made it, only to find that I had the same bus driver as this morning, Kieran on the 568 route to Carrickfergus. Thanks to him, me and my friend were able to get home safely. He must've waited for about 5 minutes, knowing that I was getting on. Best bus driver I've ever had by far.

My friends and I travelled on the train to Portrush on Saturday from Mossley around 12:30. I would like to give a massive thank you to John the conductor who was absolutely fabulous. He really made our trip and give us 5 star service. It would be great if he could get some sort of recognition for his hard work ensuring all his customers are happy. Thank you John. 🌟

Insane prices for an abysmal service
Insane prices for awful service - biggest rip off in the UK for similar services. Wasting public money building stupid monstrosities like the completely unnecessary Grand Central Disaster instead of investing in the actual railway service which is the problem. Small, cramped trains, poor WiFi, often late and a complete rip off.

Rude Metro Bus drivers, and Translink staff
My parents who are retired, love going out for day time excursions to Belfast. They are normally very organised and know where they are going, however yesterday they were looking for a specific bus route, 6D. They were outside the City Hall in Belfast and my dad asked 3 bus drivers where he would find this bus. The first driver closed the door on his face, which was exceptionally rude, and the second driver shooed my dad away. The third driver tried to help him, but he told them it wasn't that far, and to walk. My mum has mobility issues, so that wasn't an option. My dad then went to the information booth, and there were 2 members of staff. My dad was disgusted as the younger lady seemed to be laughing at him when he was asking for assistance. My dad did not find this funny, and thought her behaviour was a disgrace. The older lady did take my parents a bit more serious. She told them what time the bus would be arriving. Needless to say, I understand that the translink staff often encounter rude behaviour, but they are providing a service, and should be helpful when approached by customers who are courteous and have manners. Overall, this experience has been nothing but downright disgrace. My dad told the young lady that he has used local public transport around the world and the only place where the drivers have been rude to him was in his own country. Manners cost nothing.

Our bus service is a absolute disgrace buses never on time. They say they want more people using the bus service why would we when it's as bad as it is. Most days when I finish work I'm having to get a taxi home as my service never turns up. This needs sorting out big time!!!!!

Ards to Belfast bus doesn’t arrive when it’s supposed to. 1510 was the time advertised at Gibsons lane. 1510 came and went, 1530 and it still wasn’t there. No other bus on a Saturday to Belfast until 17.20 absolute disgrace of a service and a laughing stock.

Absolutely horrendous service. A total disgrace. I have used their service for years getting to work and back and very rarely have I had a good experience with them. Multiple delays, rude drivers, rarely on time. But recently it takes the cake on how awful they are.
No updates on any new stops or times and I have paid for a ticket. Two days in a row, the bus has not turned up at my stop that has been in service for years. The time table at the stop still states its service yet nothing. I am left standing for 45 mins until one decides it wants to show up, and the driver has no clue what is going on.
It’s a total joke of a service. You want an increase in wage for a job you cannot do?? And then the audacity to increase the ticket price too? I’ve seen panelling hanging with exposed wires inside the bus, and it’s still the ticket prices go up.

-bus drivers have been very ignorant, possibly due to the fact that I am a young female and they think they can talk down to me… also infamous for being late or afew times quite early (once early by 9 minutes, thankfully i was at the bus stop so promptly) should stick to schedules
- the glider is woeful.. SHOULD BE ABLE TO BUY TICKETS ON GLIDER ALIKE THE ITHER TRANSLINK SERVICES?! why have a printer and staff on board??? i got given a penalty for a fine of £50 as i failed to purchase a ticket beforehand (the glider showed up as soon as i reached the stop, i had planned to get the one 10 minutes after but hopped on innocently as i was in a rush to visit a relative in hospital) which i explained to the staff lady. i don’t get the glider EVER. This was maybe my 4th time on one and every other time i have bought a ticket as i’ve had time to, i get the ulster bus, this was just an exception to reach the hospital as usually visiting i get a lift with my mum… also explained this to the woman in a polite manner, i would of had more respect for her if she asked me to exit at the next stop and pay for a ticket for the next glider.
-Translink trains are okay i can’t fault the staff only issues i have on them are surrounding other patrons which is irrelevant
Awful company from top to bottom
Trains are appalling, coming from Bangor to Lisburn all stops tonight. Bangor train delayed 3 mins due to it being late missed the lisburn all stops. Through no fault of my own but translinks and why wouldn't it communicate with grand central to hold off for passengers swapping train on last train on a Friday night?..
Can shove that station and their company up their hole, waste of money. Go on holidays anywhere and trains better run. For christ sake seen the trains run better in 3rd world countries on 'Race across the World' than here. Worse is translink not even the cheapest, need other transport companies to step up and take over
Enterprise Plus
I recently traveled on the Enterprise Plus train between Dublin and Belfast. In Ireland, this service is marketed as first class, but compared to international standards, it falls short of that level. The seats are indeed spacious, adjustable, and offer lumbar support with extra legroom, but the quality of materials and overall comfort are below what you’d expect from true first-class service in most European countries. Wi-Fi is free, but the speed is disappointing, and the in-seat audio system, while a nice touch, feels outdated. The onboard service is polite but minimal. You only get complimentary tea, coffee, and apple juice, while any proper meal must be ordered separately, which doesn’t align with first-class expectations. Compared to standard Irish public transport, this is a decent option for a comfortable trip. But for those accustomed to real first-class service in other countries, Enterprise Plus is unlikely to impress.
