Avoid TravelCart.uk like a plague at all costs.
They lure customers in with very cheap prices and ask for a deposit. Once they have your money, the price suddenly increases dramatically when it is time to complete the booking. When I refused to proceed at the inflated price, they refused to refund my deposit.
The frustrating part is that I had already read reviews describing the exact same experience before paying. I ignored the warnings and assumed it wouldn’t happen to me. It did.
If you’re reading this review, learn from my mistake. Read the negative reviews carefully and take them seriously. I certainly wish I had. I would never use this company again and would strongly advise others to stay well away.

However, we feel it is important to clarify the circumstances surrounding your booking.
Throughout our conversations, we provided several quotations based on the different routes and travel dates you requested. Once you selected your preferred itinerary, we sent you a detailed booking confirmation setting out the reservation details, fare conditions and our booking terms. You reviewed these details and confirmed that you wished to proceed with the reservation.
Our confirmation clearly explained that:
the booking was a flight reservation only until tickets were issued;
airline fares are not guaranteed until ticketed and may change or expire at any time before full payment is received;
the deposit covers the booking and reservation services carried out immediately and is non-refundable;
if full payment is not completed within the fare validity period, the airline may release the original fare and a new fare may apply.
During our WhatsApp conversation, you also asked whether paying a deposit would secure the fare until a later date, demonstrating that the fare validity period was discussed before any payment was made.
Unfortunately, airline pricing is controlled entirely by the airline, not by Travelcart.uk. We do not increase fares ourselves, and when an airline fare expires before ticketing, we can only offer the current fare made available by the airline.
We respectfully reject the allegation that our business is a "scam." Travelcart.uk is a registered UK company providing genuine travel booking services, and we are committed to being transparent by explaining our booking process and terms before accepting any payment.

Scammers agent…
I contacted this travel agent on the 31/04/26 for my travelling to Lagos. After speaking to one of their staff ( named Muhammad. He was polite and friendly at first, but after l made a deposit of 100 pounds, everything changed. Couple of days after he started started avoiding my calls. I was told that the initial flight fare has changed and that l have pay more. I ask for a refund but was told that my deposit is nonrefundable. Please be aware. This guys are scammers.

At the time of your enquiry, we provided you with a **flight reservation only**, clearly stated in writing before any payment was made. As outlined in your confirmation email:
* No ticket had been issued
* Airline fares were subject to change until full payment
* Your deposit covered **booking and reservation services already performed**
* Deposits are **non-refundable**, including if fares change before ticketing
You reviewed and confirmed these terms in writing before proceeding.
Before your deposit, your reservation was created with the airline (PNR issued), and our team carried out the agreed booking services. Unfortunately, as is common in the airline industry, the fare expired before ticketing and the airline released the original price. At that point, a revised fare was provided.
We understand this can be frustrating, but this situation is outside our control and is clearly explained upfront in both our email confirmation and terms.
We strongly reject the claim that we are “scammers.” We are a registered UK company and provide legitimate booking services in line with industry practices.
That said, we remain happy to assist you:
* We can still help secure an alternative fare if you wish to proceed
* Or provide full guidance on available options

STAY AWAY!!!
STAY AWAY!!!. They are not genuine. After paying 80% of my flight ticket of £5712 ( for 5 passengers), I was told that the price of my flight had changed, and my initial deposit of £750 is non-refundable.
I also lost money from all connecting flights to this journey. I do not recommend this agency at all.

Your booking was confirmed for five passengers, and following an airline schedule change outside of our control, we worked to obtain alternative travel options from the airline. Unfortunately, the revised itinerary did not meet your travel requirements, and you chose not to proceed.
Contrary to the impression given in your review, we did not retain the full amount you had paid. We refunded £4,000 to you. The only amount retained was the agreed £750 non-refundable booking and reservation service fee, which was clearly disclosed before payment and covered the professional booking services already provided.
We appreciate that the airline's schedule change was frustrating and that it affected your travel plans. However, airline schedule changes are determined solely by the airline and are outside the control of any travel agency.
We also respectfully reject the implication that our business acted dishonestly. We are a registered UK company committed to providing transparent booking services, and we always provide our booking terms before accepting payment.

Paid deposit but got scammed! Give me my tickets
They have not been picking my calls paid deposit in August 2025 for a trip in March 2026, called January 2026 to pay my balance as agreed on our WhatsApp chat only to tell me that my ticket has expired. They also stated that my deposit is not refundable! He said the new ticket is £7000! Why! This is unbelievable! Please get in touch ASAP as you are about to ruin my 2026 family holiday. I need my full ticket as you promised. I have my full balance! This is unbelievable!
So why did your agent told me that having paid £499 that my balance is £1800plus ….you guys really need to do better. I have my WhatsApp chats for record purposes.
