UK Open College Reviews 

Completing the level 3 early year's course was difficult to begin with but with the support from my family and work friends helped alot. The work was marked quickly and the positive feedback gave me a boost my tutor Jill Matthews was very supportive and helpful and only an email away, recommend this course and college but you do need to be dedicated, I feel working remotely can be useful for working people or those with families.

I recently completed my HLTA through UK Open College and I was very happy with the service I received. From start to finish I felt supported and all my work submitted was marked quickly with detailed feedback. My online account allowed me to track my progress and access relevant resources to help me complete each unit. I can’t recommend them enough!

The online course is really easy to navigate, everything is laid out easy and you ate able to find all the documents easy. The tutors are brilliant any question you have they answer in full detail and they made anything your struggling with really easy to understand. I loved this course as I could still work and get the experience I needed to complete it. I will completing my level 3 through them.

I’ve been doing the level 3 in childcare and found it very easy as I got to do it from the comfort of my home

I recently completed my level 2 diploma in childcare and I highly recommend my tutor Jill Matthews and UK Open College. Jill has been so helpful, supportive and encouraging throughout her time as my tutor. I can't thank her enough for her quick responses to my messages of need and for all her words of encouragement and praise on the feedback of my work. She has made the course enjoyable, while steadily building my confidence and I am so grateful to her. I know other people that have gained the same qualification through other distance learning companies and they've not had the same support or communication with their tutors as I've had. If you're thinking of getting your childcare qualifications, use Open College!

I recently called to enrol in a Level 2 counselling course and experienced incredible customer service. Bill has been exceptionally helpful and informative about my enrolment. His enthusiasm is contagious, and he made sure to sort everything out for me promptly on the same day.

I have just completed my second course with UK College - I am a mum of 2, with a travelling husband and now a full time placement in a school - and although it took me a while to start, the fact that you can log in and out of the learning around your other commitments worked really well for me. The tutor has been most helpful and all the feedback has helped me to find the right focus and carry on throughout. It is truly set out to work around you, and your own time management. I could not recommend UKOpen College more - and I am sure I‘ll be going back for more soon!

Contacted the college for info, for A Levels for my son. Darren supported me brilliantly, through online chat. Answered everything quickly and easily. Even anticipated questions I might ask. Made us even more certain that this college is the one for us! Thank you for your kindness and support, Darren.

I completed my level 3 with Open College, and I had an amazing experience working with them. I'm extremely grateful of Jill, my tutor, he was excellent, even if my tutor was changed at first, it had no effect on me. Jill always gets back to me in a few days and gives me the greatest tips and information to increase my knowledge. The staff is also really helpful, when I called to ask about my certificate, they did everything they could do to help me.

Good customer experience so far (I've only just enrolled). Bill was speedy in sorting my application out, and very informative on the phone about the course.

The worst company you could ever go to. Paid monthly, few payments were late they charged interest. Happily paid and paid the course over the duration. Interest was not a small amount either. This was all for an employee.

I went to buy again a few months later to for an employee and they demanded I pay in full. Tried to escalate the matter and every single person was rude and arrogant. Maybe it’s because some of us have foreign names and that’s when the tune changes. Had an English employee no problem, had a foreign sounding name- sorry we only accept payment in full.

Avoid this company at all costs

I took a level 2 in supporting teaching and learning as well as a level 2 in understanding Autism with Ukopen college.
UKopen college were really informative and easy to contact when I needed too.
My tutor Viv was brilliant, really supportive and very quick to respond and help with any questions I had.
I only didn't give it a 5 star as I felt the course for supporting teaching and learning was hard in regards to the amount of material that you had to read and it wasn't always clear where the information to the questions was. With 2 children and a full time job, I have little time to fit in the studying so it would have been better had their been less information to go through.
The other course was a lot more simple in that respect and the material you read matched the questions to answer.
I would definitely consider using Ukopen college again in future.

Contact with administration - completely terrible, no any respect. I paid lots of money for my courses, they don't want sent to me by post my certificate (extra cost!). I should receive my certificate during max 12 weeks. I waited on certificate from level 2 SEN 6 months!!! and for level 2 Childcare today is 16 weeks - and still they don't want sent it to me by post!

I have just completed level 3 teaching assistant course, although I didn’t finish the course as soon as I would have liked through no fault of the course it’s self, working full time having a young family the course was brilliant and look forward to starting a new job very soon. The portal was very easy to send off work and was full of useful information and helped me through my studies. A huge thank you to my tutor penny who was very helpful and was there for advice and support when I needed it. Will be back hopefully in the future for my next course and will deffo be using uk open college for my next course.

A really fascinating and positive course. Special thanks to my tutor Viv Wood who was very helpful and very patient with my constant questions. I recommend thi course to anyone starting out as, or interested in becoming, a Teaching Assistant.
