Just left my reassurance scan at the Brentwood branch. I had such a lovely experience here. So professional and knowledgeable.
The receptionist was so lovely and kind

BRENTWOOD, ESSEX BRANCH - Great scan clinic! Highly recommend Julius he’s so thorough and explains everything in detail, putting you completely at ease. I’ve had four scans at Ultrasound plus, the last being our gender reveal! Thanks Julius! We will be back for our 4D in a couple of months. Emma and Ben.

Don't go there..instead if 30min it 5min and all they care its taking money Really angry and disappointed £110 spent in 5min foe nothing

I would not recommend. The place was freezing cold, it took several hours and phone calls to get my results despite being told I’d get them instantly on several occasions. The receipt they give out isn’t valid health insurance and they are now not responding to emails to get a sufficient one!

Had an amazing experience at the Watford clinic last night. Both the receptionist and the sonographer were lovely, very polite and accommodating. Baby was in the wrong position so we were asked to have a walk and something go eat. Came back 20 minutes later and baby had moved. The 4D scan was very emotional and unforgettable. Even though I have an anterior placenta we managed to get a great view. The souvenirs received are incredible, along with an unexpected bottle and pacifier. 100% recommended and we will be back.

Really poor experience and I have been for many scans due to going through IVF.
Appointment time was cancelled and re arranged then when I arrived at it was then delayed by a further 30 minutes
Sonogragher was male and was not given option of female chaperone. Sonogragher really lacked empathy and no bedside manner, quite concerning given this area of work
I don't like to write negative reviews but would strongly advise against this clinic

Such a worst practice i ever faced so far.. Reception lady said nothing.. i was on time for my appointment.. though it was clear that they were running behind.. didn’t bother to give correct info.. later she did mention that they were running bit late.. then another client after my slot came in and she made a point that they could atleast keep posted with delays. So kindly and conveniently reception lady ( with management 0permission) pushed her appointment before me without asking or saying to me though i was literally waiting for more than 20 minutes.
Once the other client went into the room for her tests .. i asked what’s happening and how much more time for my appointment… she said after that lady’s test.. i was bit shocked there was no courtesy to ask before changing appointments on the top she said that its her manager decision.
Manager came to talk to me guess what.. Manager lied straight on my face saying that the other client appointment was before me .. as she didn’t know that we already spoke outside about parking and appointments. Manager tried to cover her lies by saying system glitch etc..

I had to cancel my appointment and asked for refund. Need to see how long that takes to return my money!!!from them….. never going to book anything with them in future…I didn’t see any professionalism or best practice in place for this company/ branch.

They just change appointments as they like and push forward..as they like..if you are not brown skin! felt bit discriminated…

Lost couple of hours without any success and now rebooked for my test with other company.. where there is some compassion and professionalism.

Poor experience for the money that I paid. I had a dating scan booked and it said on the website it would take 15 minutes. The cost was £80. We arrived on time and were seen straight away. The waiting room was nice and clean and the sonographer was nice enough. However the scan itself took 5 minutes. It was quick, it felt rushed, I didn't have a chance to have a proper look at the baby. The baby was measured and that was the only information I got from this scan. I felt this was poor value for money - £80 for a 5 min scan. There was another couple that came 15 mins late for their appointment and it seemed to me that our appointment was rushed so the other couple could be seen. Ay the end I was told there was no placenta but it should develop by 12 weeks. I was 11 weeks 5 days at the time so I left feeling very anxious and I only got reassurance at my next NHS scan which was so much better, felt like a proper scan and the sonographer confirmed that this was so wrong and inappropriate observation from the private sonographer. This place is so about the money and the service is not worth it! You feel you should get a premium service from a private company but it's definitely the opposite. I don't recommend this place.

Not good enough

The two stars are given for the lovely lady at reception who was very kind and understanding.

I booked my appointment online. Scrolled for an option to request a female sonographer (aware I may need an internal scan) as no option was given I assumed it would default be a female member.

Was told it is my responsibility to let them know I wanted a female sonographer - I agree…HOW?

Got to the apt to find it was a male sonographer. Was only given the option to rebook if I was willing to pay booking fee again. Told by the lady at head office she can see I’m getting very upset about ‘£30’.

Not good enough. I wish I read these reviews before booking

I'm not sure why some reviewers give it one star. I booked a kidney and bladder ultrasound at Watford and they were excellent. I left my phone in the car by mistake and the receptionist was most helpful with phone calls to my wife who was driving round in the car.
Jonas was excellent at explaining what he saw as he scanned and put me at ease. The scans with descriptions were avalable within a few minutes.
I would definitely recommend, and much cheaper than a private hospital

Made an appointment, called to rearrange for following week. They they cancelled and did not refund deposit. Be careful of this company!

Went to Brentwood branch for a reassurance scan at 30 weeks, receptionist was lovely, helped keep my toddler entertained whilst we waited. Sonographer was nice. Bought a heart beat bunny which is lovely. Had a great overall experience. Wish i'd use this place sooner as went to another for first child and previous scan with this one and there was no atmosphere or extras there. Would highly recommend . We went on a Sunday so parking was OK. If you went another day might be a bit tricky but there's a car park 1 min walk away. Ultra Sound plus Brentwood from my experience.

we went for a scan on our 32 weeks of pregnancy at Watford branch ,
No parking , very rude on the main door receptionist she rejected to open the door for more than 5 min we are not sure if the sonographer is qualified as she gave us the wrong measurement and she said you need to speak with the midwife as your baby growth measurement not ok , so we went to see doctor at the same day and he confirmed there's something wrong with the scan itself now we calling them to book rescan and nobody answering the phone after we pay 120 its terrible experience will leave you panicking about your baby because they use poor sonographers and machines

I went for uterus ultrasound in Ultrasound Plus in Watford. The man who examined me said everything is complete fine, I also send all the scan pictures by email to my doctor in my country where I’m from and unfortunately I found out that I have endometriosis.
I paid 115£ for this ultrasound, completely wasted money.
Don’t recommend this place

It’s a shame you can’t give no stars. We went in for a first scan where they told us we were 5 weeks and to come back within 14 days for a rescan as we would see much more then. We booked in our second scan for 12 days later and they told us that our baby had potentially stopped growing and we were having a ‘missed miscarriage’ or that they had got our timings wrong and we were actually only 5 weeks still. This made more sense to us and our dates but they kept going on about the miscarriage.

They said to be sure that my partner could have a blood test for £90 or pay £80 for another scan in 2 weeks. We got the feeling they were playing on our anxiety to get more money out of us.

I’ve since done research and these companies are not qualified to be giving such information they are in face not medically qualified at all. Our report says that cardiac activity was seen on the scan but they didn’t tell us this, so how can we now pass this onto our midwife if it’s got misleading information.

Stay away from this company.

Watford branch - my poor experience started right from the moment I arrived. There were 2 buzzers on the door for ultrasound plus. I pressed 1 and there was no answer after a minute so I pressed the other. A lady then arrived to open the door, without even greeting me, proceeded to ask me why I had pressed the wrong button and telling off as she can’t hear the bell. I explained that I simply pressed the 2 options as it was not clear which to press. She led me in and continued to be abrupt and dismissive. I was really anxious about the scan and it was making me feel terrible. The scanner did say hello but the scan felt rushed and although she asked if I had any questions she did not really let me respond. Again, very few words and no-warmth. It was disappointing that there was no basic compassion or recognition that some women may have had difficult pregnancy histories and require a normal dose of kindness. I will never be coming back.

I just attended the Ultrasound plus appointment at the docklands branch. Just had the most appalling experience ever. The receptionist staff was rude and treated the white clients with the most respect, however as i was asian hijabi she clearly treated me differently. She did not greet or opened the door when i was waiting at the door for 5 minutes. As I entered she did not apologise for the wait or greet me, but told me to sanitise my hand in a rude tone. Her name is Tanya. She really needs to learn some customer service as she doesn't have any.
I was also seen by a male sonographer not once did they call to ask if this is okay? I only went ahead as i was very concerned about the babys heartbeat. I paid £80 for this service and it was worse than the NHS

I recently had an upper abdomen and gynecological ultrasound with Rosalyn in Kingston and I must say I ve never met any other sonographer more thorough than her. I was very anxious due to my symptoms and she managed to completely reassured me by explaining everything in detail throughout the scan. She gave me the results straight away and later on also sent me the report and images via email. Very very satisfied and highly recommend!

The lady on the phone has unacceptable behavior.

We called to make an appointment on 21-04-2023 at 12:00. We asked if their service could help with our query. They took the question and said they would call back.

We did not receive a response until 15:00, we called again and asked if they could help us with the query. They said they cannot help which is fair and ok, after this response I asked for normal scan for check but the lady hung up on me!!!

I called again 3 times! they rejected my call!!

They made my son and girlfriend feel really relaxed and so helpful,they said it was a great experience and the staff were lovely
