I placed order July 5, 2024, for Tennessee Birth Certificate. My process time changed from 15-21 days after I called on day 21 to find out why I have not received shipping notification. The next day, my processing Time was changed to 40-45 days, with no explanation. I placed phone call to the after hours number to inquire, left voice mail. As of today, August 14, I have not received a call back.

I ordered my mother’s birth certificate from Vital Chek on July 9th. I received an email saying it would be delivered by August 8th. I called them on August 12th and was told it would be sent in September. This is a horrible company with poor customer service. DO NOT USE THEM!

This company needs to redone and be better. I ordered my son's birth certificate and three months later I get a letter of pin and order number and it didn't even work. I waited hours on hold and still no one. How can they site say oh it's quick but in reality it's one of not the worst government site I ever came across. Don't use them. Go to where you gave birth and get a copy. Bc this is insane. I need my son to get an ID he is 18 and before college. I did it in May now they are saying I might get it in December.

This is THE WORST Company. I ordered a birth certificate for my mother and paid for UPS shipping. Fulton County could not find a record and put my mother's name as her father's name. I have been getting the complete run around and leg work that I paid VitalCheck to do. They did not send the document of "NO record found" via UPS Air and will not refund me for what I paid for UPS Air they are saying they are not responsible for anything once they take my money. All they do is take your documents and forward it over to the other County that's IT. I could have done that myself.

I was hesitant to purchase my birth certificate off this site with all the terrible reviews. I needed to get a copy of my birth certificate for a new driver's license and only had a registry of birth card from the county court I was born that my current state would not accept. Took a chance at $29 and after three full weeks it finally arrived in the mail (15 - 20 days processing is what they stated). They do not notify you that it has shipped, it just randomly arrived in my mailbox). My advice is that you double check everything and make sure all your info is spelled and filled out correctly since it states you will not be reimbursed. The state I needed it from charges just to look up your information and says it is non refundable. But now I have a state certified copy birth certificate and am happy this site worked.

Needed a death certificate for my father who just passed in Arizona. Sent in the documents as listed. Pennsylvania did not put parents names on birth certificates so I sent in official documents from the hospital and was told not good enough. Didn't answer the phone, never called back. Then cancelled my order. Disgusting company. I'll mail it to the county directly.

Horrible service. I have had to use them twice this year, each time a mess. Getting through on the phone impossible, on line says they have technical problems so call. You call, they don’t answer and tell you to go to on line. Shame on Arizona for dumping important services on this terrible company.

What a scam. They said 140 days, turns out it will take nearly a year. Once you send it and find out how long it takes, you can't get your money back. $80 out the window, I might just as well have set fire to that money. I contacted the town in NY where I was born. It will be $10 and I'll have it in 10 days.

Requested a copy of a certified marriage certificate so I could get my real ID. That was on May 30th, 2024 and $44.00. I have never received it. Tried to get someone to respond back to me with no luck. Requested a refund and no response back. Apparently this company is a scam. Shame on them but Satan must be so proud!

In May I attempted to get birth certificates for my two children so we can renew passports. Drivers license and notarized form were uploaded on 5/1/2024. Their system kept saying that my uploads were "blank" when they were clearly visible on the site, legible, and clear. Weeks of back and forth, uploading the same documents multiple times with no resolution until the request timed out and my order was cancelled. Now trying again a couple months later, I upload the notarized documents, clear as day but this time in a different file format (tried JPG and PDF), with a message from Vitalcheck saying that I had not uploaded the notarized form. I log in to VitalChek and my documents are right there. WHAT IS HAPPENING at this place and why does the State of California use this horrible company? I've now been on the phone on hold for 30 minutes.

I just recently went through vitalcheck.com to get a certified birth certificate. I received a letter from the Commonwealth of Kentucky which is where I was born. And on there no records found they misspelled my middle name they put t a n instead of t i n. And also put in the wrong county. Per bottlecheck.com's policy and procedures since this was their error and not mine I contacted them today at 7:16 a.m. on July 6th 2024. I first spoke to jessica. Which did not follow policy or procedure. She did not ask me for my order number when I turn around and asked her I said yes I have a question on my order she said okay well what's your question I said don't you need my order number she says no I pulled it up by your phone number so she's already in the account she didn't ask any information whatsoever and started rattle and off my personal information, and didn't even know if it was me. She didn't verify it she didn't verify it that it was me and was giving out my personal information. So then I asked to speak to a supervisor Elizabeth got on the phone which is supposedly supervisor. now to be clear vital check when you ask for somebody's name they will not give you a badge number they won't give you a last name nothing and I don't know if the first names that they gave me are correct. But Elizabeth which is a supervisor I told her what the problem was. Again she did not ask for the order number started rattling off my personal information did not have been verify it was me. After I'm stunned and just horrified that both of these individuals that were providing check didn't verify it was me and gave me all my personal information over the phone. Then I finally realized oh I called because my middle name was spelled wrong. Elizabeth which is a supervisor of vitalchek.com proceeded to let me know that Commonwealth of Kentucky only needs the name to be 70% correct as far as spelling. Then goes on to say different things that I have to contact them because they made the error not the person that I paid to do the request which is vital check. Then she states oh well tell me about the Kentucky you only needs to be 90% correct on your spelling. Are you kidding me. Come on. Spelling is extremely important on a birth certificate it has to be exact it has to be accurate. But vital check doesn't seem to think so. So stop using vital check. They also just got bought by Nexus. This is not a safe format this is not a safe third party to go through the other thing was that on their website which I went to verify to clarify to make sure I'm not giving any information isn't correct it states that if you have any errors or anything like that you need to contact the agency and which processed your request. I didn't contact Commonwealth at kentucky. Vitalcheck.com is the agency and which I used to process my request. I told both these ladies this somewhere they just didn't understand what processing the request meant they did it yet I'm going to tell me I'm supposed to contact Kentucky I haven't dealt with Kentucky the agency that process my request was vital check.com. they do not give refunds. They will not do anything for you. They will not answer questions they will however I give all your private and personal information to anybody that calls. So don't lose your cell phone number or don't lose your cell phone because all they need is your cell phone call vital check and they'll give them all your personal information from your residence to your parents full name last name to your complete name to where you were born and everything else. Which is protected by the privacy act. Which vital check today the supervisor and a person who works there violated. Be aware stay awake from vital check. They don't help you if there's any concerns errors. They don't even help you if you don't receive anything in the mail. Go directly to the state you save money and you don't deal with this crap.

I am wondering why my state has even contracted with this awful company. I am trying to get a death certificate. My friend had no family and appointed me executor of his estate. I supplied info from my driver's license and bank statement to the Will naming me executor. I have been jumping through hoops for a solid week. They rarely answer the phone. I've been on hold today and yesterday for an hour. No death certificate in the works. Meanwhile my friend's bills just keep adding up.

This company is a fraud, I applied for my child's birth certificate since April 30th paid $79.50 order #180626965 sent two emails and to date cannot get an answer as to why I cannot get the birth certificate. my child is scheduled to travel in November and I need this BC to get her passport.

I appplied to receive a copy of my marriage license on their website. Two days later I saw the they were returning my payment so I went online to find out why and my VitalChek account stated that I shoukld call them. I called and waited 3.5 hours for someone to answer the phone on their end and then received a message saying to call tomorrow. Phoned the next day when they opened and spent 7 hours waiting for some one to answer, which they did not. Two days later after the money was back in my account I attempted to order again. Same thing, except this time it was 3 calls spanning 14 hours waiting their customer service to pick up the phone. Horrible customer service when a customer soends over 24 hours waiting foe someone to answer the phone. At least I received my money back both times.

I got send the WRONG birth certificate, I had to wait over and hour on the phone and can get a refund but not my actual birth certificate without paying again and hoping they get it right this time. Disaster of a company

After informing me they would NOT fill my order (because they wanted me to submit documentation I did not have), they went ahead and charge me $12.50 for the service. A service they did not provide!

21-45 days for a birth cert. is crazy and that's just for processing not sure how a official government site could recommend the direct you to this company.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with VitalChek. I ordered a certified birth certificate for a passport application, but what I received was a Certificate of Vital Records, which is not the same thing. This document does not include the necessary details required for legal purposes such as obtaining a passport.

When I contacted customer support, they insisted that the document provided was correct and suitable for all legal purposes, which is simply not true. Despite multiple attempts to explain the issue, their responses were unhelpful and dismissive. They even suggested I contact the Cook County Clerk’s Office myself, which defeats the purpose of using their service.

The lack of transparency and misleading information makes me question the reliability of VitalChek. I now have to go through the hassle of contacting the Cook County Clerk’s Office directly to get the correct document. This experience has been frustrating and a waste of time and money.

I would not recommend VitalChek to anyone needing vital records. Their service is unreliable, and their customer support is unhelpful. I consider this business a scam for not delivering the product I paid for.

I gave them all my personal info including credit card to get a replacement birth certificate. Order was never processed. I have to start all over at the county clerk, by mail. I emailed them to delete all my personal info which of course I do not need hanging around in cyber space. There is no excuse for this company.
