We had our solar panel and battery install completed by the VoltX team. They turned up on time, communicated throughout the day, answered all my questions and took great care with the install process, they were even able to install a seperate EV charger. We're already reaping the benefits of the install and saving having to draw power from the grid.

From the signing request to the finished installation everything went smoothly. Quick response and prompt installation. The technicians on the site were professional, helpful and neat.

DON'T PAY FULL UNTIL YOU MONITOR YOUR BATTERY SYSTEM FOR AT LEAST ONE WEEK! I bought a battery system for a very good price (that is why it is not just one star), but the customer service after installation is not good. The installer did a good job installing it in the intended location. The problem is that during the week after installation, I closely monitored the system and realised the battery was not charging. It charged from the grid 2 times randomly, but the system does not recognise that PV excess production should be used to charge the battery. I lodged a complaint, which took nearly 2 weeks to be confirmed, with no timeframe for resolution. Three weeks since installation, no power is being fed to the grid or used to charge the battery and no date for a resolution! Hope your system works right from the beginning; otherwise, sit, wait and pray for a day when someone might come up and fix it!

The sales representative was very helpful and answered all my questions initially, which prompted me to use VoltX. They under promised and over delivered as I was told installation could be 2 to 3 weeks. I paid my deposit on a Thursday and the installation was the following Tuesday! The installers were courteous, knowledgeable and did a neat and tidy installation.

Last Week our Voltx Three-Phase 25kw Battery and Inverter System (an integrated system using OEM Solplanet components) was installed replacing the old single-phase battery and inverter, the new system interfacing with the pre-existing Solar Panels Array.

The Solution was designed and scaled for my needs by Voltx Sales representative Francis, who explained and discussed with me over phone, and then prepared the contract for my approval, answering my questions via text and email. Flor from the onboarding team then scheduled the job with the installation team.

Installers David and Victor presented themselves in the morning of the scheduled day, arriving with the tools and installation components. At the outset, Victor helped decide the appropriate location where the system was to be setup, a bit bigger than what I thought. While they carried out an inspection of the existing battery and inverter and the associated cabling, it was apparent to me that rather than using AC coupling to connect with the Solar Panels via the old inverter, as per the initial plan, it would be better to DC couple the new system directly with the Solar Panels. This would be a much cleaner and future proof solution, would help rid of most of the old components and their cabling. I suggested this to David, and he agreed and was confident of completing the job with the modified plan. He called up the Voltx Onboarding Team to explain the extra scope of work and I soon got a call from them for the updated plan quoting a reasonable increment to the contracted price to which I agreed. The installers then proceeded with their job, first removing the old battery and inverter and unnecessary switches and cabling to be taken away for disposal as per contract. Victor busied himself with setting up of the main system, the Inverter and Battery components, at the location, and David proceeded with the onboarding via the Meter Box, cabling up to connect with the Solar Panel, 3-phase lines to Grid and the Household Circuits. They continued with the job for the next several hours, professionally completing the cabling and setting up by the end of the day. I examined the system, David helped configure the new system in the Solplanet App on my mobile phone, where the app showed the energy being routed across, receiving from Solar Panels, connected to the Grid for charge and discharge, and for supply to the Household appliance loads.
The installers left commissioning related paperwork in the meter box for the Energy Provider’s meter inspector. The next day I received via email the Certificate of Compliance – Electrical Work (CCEW) from Building Commission NSW for the electrical work undertaken on my property.
I am now monitoring the system over my Mobile phone app, the energy flows across the system, establishing that the default system configuration be adequate, and where necessary, such as on cloudy days, setting up some incremental custom battery charge schedules to take advantage of off-peak rates from the Grid as per my energy provider.
Yesterday, I received a post-installation call from their customer experience team, who emailed me with warranty information and some user information that I asked for from their support team.
On the whole I am satisfied with Voltx for the Sales, Installation and System onboarding service provided. I hope that the Voltx integrated system, with its Solplanet hardware components, performs satisfactorily to meet our energy needs for the next several years, and the Voltx support team responds to our calls and queries, and if required, any warranty service.

I found the process to be smooth. They arrived, got stuck into it, tested it, and talked me through the system. It works really well. I had no idea how little I had been self consuming solar until I saw the results from this. My grid usage has fallen to about a fifth of what it was. And this is in winter. Really nice indeed.

Easy to deal with, prompt response and value for money. The install team was efficient and knowledgeable. They left the site clean and tidy. I elected to dispose of the packaging for a further $50 discount.

We had a couple of hiccups along the way that seemed to be a lack of communication between Voltx and the finance company however when that was resolved it was all smooth sailing.

We had a VoltX Energy 40.96kWh battery (SolPlanet APH5.0-S8) with a 10kW three-phase hybrid inverter installed at our home in Sydney's Upper North Shore in July 2026.

The installation itself was the standout. The electrician worked efficiently and the finish is genuinely tidy — neat cabling and a clean, well-presented job. Compliance paperwork (CCEW) came through promptly, and the system was commissioned and running the same day.

Scheduling was the other highlight. The whole process moved quickly and we didn't have to wait long at all between signing and installation, which we'd been half expecting given how these things often go. Communication in the lead-up was prompt and we always knew where things stood.

Early days yet, but we're already seeing a clear drop in grid consumption. Happy to recommend based on our experience.
