Waltham Forest Council Reviews 

Useless council who couldn't care less about the residents. Spending tax payers money like water on so-called 'traffic calming measures' which the council leader and his cronies refuse to monitor as this would involve them actually doing some work as a paid public servant! One of the worst boroughs to live in!

Used the RingGo app on Wednesday evening to book parking for Thursday, using the Tomorrow option to select the date.. Didn’t notice that it set the date to Friday and the next day ( Thursday) Waltham Council gave me a ticket. This Parking App is not fit for purpose, use at your peril as parking appeals are ignored

Had new kitchen fitted had floor levelled ..kitchen tiled. and painted ..absolute joke from start to finish.complained I have never had so many so called surveyors come and take pics still today its happening. Its been going on for nearly a year now all I keep being told is they can't get the contractor back to put right.that's terrible wrong.yesterday I had 2 people from walthamforest council come again to look at what needs doing he told me he is the person who gives the go ahead.to all repairs ect I said to him why can't you get these repairs done in stead of keep coming round to look .because I raised my voice he claimed I was rude and stormed off .I think he has a cheek to say that I was rude after all these months of been lied to by phone staff and surveyors. It's a long list .there are outstanding jobs that have been looked at but still nothing been done .I'm disabled,my wife has stage4 cancer and council are aware of this but still today they don't care ,can somebody please tell me what's happening to walthamforest council .

I have been living in Waltham Forest for almost 18 years. Based on my observations, this is the dirtiest and most repulsive council. Previously, they asked me to pay for something when under the local bodies' legislation I was exempt. We went to court, and after 28 months they lost the case, Guess how much that cost the council because of their incompetent finance and legal department employees because it does not come from their pockets.
For the last 5 weeks, I have been complaining about the recycle bin not being emptied. I have also contacted the local councilor, who happens to be the head of the council too, but no result.

Waltham Forest Council do not care about the residents - the unscrupulous leaders are too buy blowing their own trumpets whilst ignoring residents genuine concerns and worries. If you submit a complaint, they push it back onto the resident and absolve themselves from taking responsibility. Shameful, money grapping 'leaders!'

I don't know why these people work there. Certainly not to help the residents. I have experienced lies, sweeping things under the carpet so to speak, delays etc. Various departments will give you the totally contradictory advice about the same thing. I understand now why people say about the council workers that they couldn't work in the private sector . They would be fired !!
