I used Warranty Solutions Group for…
I used Warranty Solutions Group for nearly three years and gave them a significant amount of business during that time. While I was working with them, we had an agreed labour rate of £90 per hour, and that was the basis on which warranties were sold to my customers.
After I decided to stop using Warranty Solutions Group and move to a self-funded warranty model, the experience for my existing customers changed dramatically. Customers who purchased top-level Platinum warranties through my dealership are now finding it unnecessarily difficult to make claims.
The labour rate has been reduced from the agreed £90 per hour to just £60 per hour for these customers, despite the warranties being sold when the agreed rate was £90. On top of that, the warranty policy covers one hour of diagnostic time, yet they are only offering £30 for half an hour of diagnostics, leaving customers and repairers out of pocket.
I've also been receiving complaints directly from customers about the way their claims have been handled. Some have been told that repairs aren't covered when, based on the warranty they purchased, they believe they should be. This has caused frustration for my customers and reflects badly on my business, even though I sold these warranties in good faith.
As a dealer, it's damaging to recommend and sell a warranty product to customers only for the provider not to honour what was agreed at the point of sale. That damages trust with customers and leaves the dealer carrying the reputational risk.
For a company with such a strong reputation, this has been extremely disappointing. There seems to be very little loyalty to the dealers who helped build their business, and ultimately it's the customers who suffer.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Warranty Solutions Group to other dealers. I'd urge anyone considering using them to think very carefully before partnering with them. In my opinion, this has been bad business for both my customers and my dealership.

WSG Ltd worked with you at all times to accommodate you and your warranty holders.
The warranties issued do have a standard labour rate of up to £65.00 per hour plus VAT, as written in the warranty booklet, which will be honoured in the event of any valid claims.
All live warranty agreements remain bound by the specific terms and conditions as per the warranty schedule and booklet from the point of registration, as provided to your customers.
Our Platinum and Gold warranties do accept reasonable diagnosis costs and if diagnosis poof is provided, we will gladly review that cost.
With regards to loyalty, WSG Ltd worked with you from day one and our account manager worked tirelessly to maintain contact and feedback.
While we were naturally disappointed by your choice to stop using our services, we respect your decision.
Our dealer partners are our business, and we are deeply committed to supporting them and warranty holders with valid claims.
It is disheartening to hear that your experience did not reflect these core values over the three years of joint business, and we do address that every business model is tailored individually.
With regards to the significant amount of business during the time, we have accepted claims that have exceeded your significant business amount.
Should you have any claims that you wish to make, we please ask that the claim is initiated by the warranty holder.
Further to the above, we wish you every success going forward.

Warranty with my purchased vehicle?
I purchased a new vehicle from a local car sales and they said it came with a warranty. I assumed they meant with themselves and it wasn't explained that it would be with a separate company, however on hand over day the one salesperson was very bury as he had three vehicles going out that morning. A few days later I received two emails from a company calling themselves Warranty solutions Group, I did not think too much more of it at the time. Today I received a phone call a call from Mark from Warranty Solutions. He was a very nice man and went over a few things re a policy and security etc. There was no hard sell to extend at this time, which was a relief. He asked if I wanted to receive a call nearer to when the policy end and I said yes. So far based on this call Warranty Solutions have provided a good service.

Taken out a years warranty with this company as recommended by the dealership where we recently bought our used car. Great service so far!

I had a fantastic experience with Warranty Solutions Group, especially Mark Warren.
Mark was friendly, polite and went above and beyond to help. My garage had been unable to get through to authorise the work on my car, so Mark took it upon himself to contact the garage directly and sort everything out.
He clearly explained the claims process to both me and the garage, and had everything authorised and resolved within 10 minutes. The whole experience was completely seamless and took away what could have been a stressful situation.

Absolute waste of a policy
Absolute waste of a policy. Had Gold cover which was provided by the garage I bought the car from.
Upon having my car diagnosed by a mechanic I needed a new thermostat which was supposed to be covered.
The oil leak I had apparently isn’t covered in the Gold Policy!
I was asked to get a quote off an independent garage to keep the Labour down and send in the invoice.
The Labour came in at £40ph of which the warranty company only wanted to pay £36ph!
Then the thermostat which was £89 they only wanted to cover £43!
This is despite me being covered for up to £2000 in repairs. Stay away they have multiple clauses to get out of paying for anything and even with they do they will only cover part of that.

Short review of my experience
I have just taken out a warranty with this company and was contacted within a few days. I have to apologise as I can't remember the guys name! but he was very pleasant and polite.
Obviously I have not had to make any claims as yet because I have only just purchased the car with a full MOT etc. I hope I will never have to make a claim but if I do I'm sure I will give a more detailed (and hopefully positive) review at that time
