Great tour and best tour guide
Our fabulous tour group members and amazing George, and Ryan in Shanghai, our tour guides. China was an eye opener too, a fascinating place to spend 3 weeks. Favourite places: Xi'an, Yangtze river cruise and the 3 gorges, Guilin, and the wonderful city of Shanghai at night.

Our Magnificent China tour with George…
Our Magnificent China tour with George Pu was simply outstanding. Not only did we see, taste, feel and experience some of the amazing things that China has to offer, but under George’s expert care, we feel that we came to a far greater understanding of what it means to be Chinese. He was a master organiser, leader, storyteller and carer of people, and his personal input certainly heightened our understanding hugely.
Every place we visited was astonishing in some way , every landscape and glimpse into the past of China illuminating, every cultural show a pleasure and every day brought new highlights.
George looked after us so well, and became more like a friend than a tour guide, so that we totally understood and supported him when he had to leave us unexpectedly and sadly a few days early . We will never forget our China tour and that is largely because of George, and the strong camaraderie he fostered in our group, all of whom became good friends.
The standard of hotels, restaurants and excursions was faultless. The local guides were great. The optional events were all worthwhile and enjoyable. Thank you, Wendy Wu, for giving us such an excellent tour guide, George, and a wonderful tour of beautiful China.

Our guide George Pu made our holiday end of!
He showed us China we have completely changed our beliefs in what it's like here, the Chinese people are such a lovely race, and I would beg people stop listening to politics and media and come visit to see for yourself!
Yes there are human and animal rights issues but show me a country that doesn't, the UK alone has horrific animal testing centres!
However, back to Wendy Wu Tours everything went superbly and on time, somehow they've managed to match 27 people who are like minded we all got on really well, I was a bit worried at first it was such a large group but other operators were 33+ and the guides on these other operators didn't escort their guests on trains and planes.
Each hotel they booked was first class and all our trips ran smoothly!
My only gripe would be we didn't get much down time, however there is so much to and see, 21 days just isn't enough so I guess we will just have to visit again!
On another note one of our party fell ill resulting in surgery, the support from Wendy and George was superb can't fault them one bit. That man has the patience of a saint!
We did the magnificent China which was a supposedly a slower pace and for us at 64 and 66 was doable but an older couple struggled a bit at the end.
We are heading back home now but planning another visit

I think we got tired toward end and flight back in one long day was utterly exhausting. Need a few days to recover!

From start to finish amazing experience. Flights with Air china amazing just one flight out of 4 had 20min delay which I accept compared to 4 hrs with last trip. Hotels all amazing set in fabulous locations with great views.. guides are a credit to wendy wu... Lily, Sunny ,Viola ,Victor your absolutely amazing gave me the best experience in each location. All outstanding guides. So grateful to lily taking me to pharmacy to get some medication when I fell ill with a cold. Such lovely warm people looked after us really well. Hope to see them again in the future.

Two great weeks in China with Wendy Wu
The holiday was well organised with all transfers and accommodation carefully planned. We had a full immersive experience of different areas and cultures of China with excellent guides who were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The accommodation was modern and comfortable and the food interesting and tasty!
There is however a lot of walking and standing and you require stamina to cope with the pace.

The Wonders of China trip was well…
The Wonders of China trip was well organised and full of interesting content. It was a busy trip but we managed to see everything we wanted. Good hotels and restaurants, train and plane seats sorted well. Transport was good with decent coaches. Luggage taken care of except on the trains but they are fairly easy to get on and off. The Yangtze River cruise was lovely. What made the trip so special for me was our tour manager Cathy Lee, her attention to every detail, her care and kindness to ensure we were enjoying our trip was outstanding! Also her knowledge and that of the local guides gave us a real insight into Chinese history and culture. Our group was a lovely bunch of people too.

Wonders of China with Betty
Betty our tour guide was amazing. She ensured everything ran like clockwork. We had nothing to worry about, Betty took care of everything.
The itinerary Wonders of China was extremely good it covered everything we wanted to see and more. The days are long and nights are short, there's very little free time but it was 100% worth it. You need to be organised and prepared for long days. The hotel's and restaurants in the main were all very good. We went in September and the temperature was good and no rain. Also it was less busy than in summer so shorter queues. Trains, boats and planes were all on time. We were a group of 25 and my companions were all lovely we met as strangers but parted as freinds. We shared an epic journey together and it was absolutely amazing. Visiting China is a bucket list destination and it delivered a truly fabulous experience. There was a good mixture of culture, breathtaking scenery, shows, insights and fun. Don't wait . Get it booked you won't be sorry.

I have recently returned from Japan. Wendy Wu Japan Undiscovered. Mariko our guide was excellent from day 1. She shared her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with us and I left with a better understanding of history, religion, culture and cuisine. Mariko went above and beyond with handwritten schedules. We received daily treats of mushroom sweets, lovely biscuits. Mariko is a great asset to your company, one of the best guides I have ever had. In Pursuit of Pandas Tour - Amazing!
We have just returned form the In Pursuit of Pandas tour. This was one of the best holidays we have ever taken. The itinery and sights were amazing. We loved the Great Wall, Terracotta Warriors and Pandas. Food was fabulous and we were looked after so well by the guides Wendy, Alan and Cherry. Everything was well organised from start to finish. We will remember our holiday in China for very long time.

Glories of China
Grace was our tour guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, she made our trip so enjoyable with her wit and professionalism throughout the whole tour. Grace is a very special person, she was warm, friendly, accommodating and easy to talk to.
Everything on the Wendy wu tour was so carefully planned.
Without planning it's impossible to experience so much of the culture in China. All the hotels and were very good with abundance of choice at breakfast time.

The Guide...Yang...was excellent
The Guide...Yang...was excellent. We saw so many sites in 14days. The 4 day Yangtze cruise was superb...we upgraded our room and dining and it was worth it.
The pace was tiring at times but the optional tours on the cruise gave people a wee break.
A truly wonderful holiday. My only criticism...the buffet lunches and dinners were a bit repetitive.

I Went on the Gems of China tour
I Went on the Gems of China tour, it was fantastic, far better than other tours I have been on so far - our tour manager Ken was excellent, well experienced and helped me get the best out of my holiday during my time there.
The food was varied and healthy, it is worth mentioning that Chinese cooking normally leave the bones in the food, but Ken and the local guide let us know which dishes had bones before we started eating.
I Would highly recommend Wendy Wu, sending the suitcase labels and printed itinerary and guide book before the tour was a nice touch.
The booking process was simple and I was able to choose an alternative flight easily.
