OMG what a garbage company
OMG what a garbage company. I waited 4 weeks for my order got today and I am 2 items short .
I phoned the customer service over 2 hours waiting still nothing joke I am going to take my full order to the chorley store and get my money back .I have phoned the store over 100 times no one pics up .I am shore someone will take notice when edging stones start flying round the shop .
Woeful Wicks
Woeful Wicks, placed an order for timber on the 18/05/20 for delivery 30/05/20 on Friday the 29th I got a phone call from Wicks Watford to say that some of the items were out of stock however some nails an 2 bits of wood were delivered on the 29th the driver told me that as he was loading the van someone picked up my wood and it was sold to them by mistake, I was told that part of the order would be delivered from the Cricklewood store on 30th no items turned up on the 30th and after an hour trying to call either branch I gave up because I was wasting my time, I emailed the customer services team who did not get back to me until 03/06/20 to say they were instructing the store to make a delivery within the next 48 hours, I just received a voice mail message from someone at the Cricklewood store to say they did not have the size of wood I had ordered and asked whether I would accept a smaller alternative tried to call them back but as before no one would answer the call and just kept getting cut off. Wicks obviously do not have a proper stock control process it allows you to place and order take you payment and then does not deliver the goods.
If you take my advice and if you want any wood delivered from Wicks during this lockdown don’t bother unless you want a very stressful experience.
This is possibly the worst company it has ever been my misfortune to deal with I have been trying to call the Cricklewood branch now for 3 days and they just do not answer, or you get cut off.

Very very poor ordered my garden storage box waited 5 weeks and then it arrives damaged tried to ring customer service within 10mins of receiving it what a joke rang 10 time that day then kept on hold your call is important to us what a total joke. So sent 4 emails requesting they send me another and pick this one up guess what no replys!!!!! Ordered before lockdown in mid March
Ordered fence panels, self level, sledgehammer and post creat
Wicks failed to deliver self level and sledgehammer, offered no contact no idea when or if these items were to be delivered so I cancelled them and found replacements at screwfix same day click and collect, wicks managed to deliver the post create costing £4.75.
Called up on fence delivery day to discover some little girl in “customer service” cancelled the only item I really wanted from wicks the fencing, no explanation or details.
Requested refund and as of 30 April still awaiting refund for £244.
Have been told that wicks are refusing refunds during covid 19 and they had no intention of delivering the sledgehammer or the self levelling compound.
Spoke to “customer service” waste of time they just ignore you and so do the other contact centres, they lie and refuse to issue refunds or delivery your items.

Two chaps in a van delivering cement
Two chaps in a van. They didn't have time to wait or do anything. They just dumped the four bags of cement on the wet floor in the rain, saying they were not allowed in the property, and left. Then said that I had signed for them, which I didn't! They are a disgrace, and are pulling Wicks good name down into the dirt!!!!!
Team work is everything
I have been doing a house renovation while self isolating through covid19. Wicks in Dewsbury have been outstanding. There click and collect service has been on point. The staff are keen to help when phoning with an issue or advice. Nothing seems to be to much. Just wanted to say thank you team Dewsbury @wicks

Been to Wicks Derby and ordered a bathroom to be fitted, brilliant service by Steven Smith the design consultant really knew his stuff and gave us great advice and was good with the detail so we ordered while we were there

wicks made our dream kitchen come true. from the design consultation right down to the delivery of our tiles. everything from start to finish was professional and the staff were also very attentive.

Kitchen Purchase
Purchased kitchen from Wicks Halesowen. Paul the designer was very helpful from the start of the process and would certainly recommend Paul. It took several attempts to get the right design and Paul changed the plan to our needs.
Avoid and wont use again
Ordered plasterboard. 7 sheets damaged on all sides. Redelivery again damaged. Even worse than that the delivery person just leaves against the garage door in the rain.
Never had a problem with them
Never had a problem with them in Macclesfield branch and delivery. Ordered some sleepers and bark that came fairly quickly
Shocking Service over faulty product
Shocking service, after ordering French doors when the fitter tried to build the frame together there was an issue with the bottom rail, unable to proceed any further I called wicks to get advice from there supplier to be told the supplier doesnt speak to the customer it has to be done with wicks as a 3rd party go between, I explained I had a massive hole in my lounge and unable to fit the door I needed advice asap, i had to email to wicks pictures of the problem for them to send over to the manufacturer, this done in about 15 mins early in the morning I waited all day and send more emails asking for update with no reply and had no option but to board up the hole and pay the joiner for his time, Will never use wicks again, This should never happen, I dont mind there being a issue but I expect there to be prompt attention to put it right
Appaling service
Appaling service, ordered online and paid for, click and collect service, we turned up to collect, it took almost half an hour for the goods to turn up, defeats the purpose of click and collect, would have been quicker to pick from shelves.
One of the item had a chip so damaged, the wooden poles were not straight, not good for for what I wanted to use , I immediately wanted them to cancel and refund, which turned into another drama, because it was paid for by PayPal, they were literally tell ing us to take the goods home and return them tomorrow instead, this is because, PayPal refunds are done by customer service over phone line, who are not on duty on sundays, eventually after a whole hour one clever staff member (thank you ) refunded it in couple of minutes. The service was appaling how do you expect a customer to take with them defective items and come back for return another day? , furthermore, the click and collect service is extremely slow and inefficient, the items are not quality checked, the person didnt seem interested in anything we had to say, I appreciate, every store will have it's own ways to deal, but the Edmonton store I have been visiting for a long time, until today, I will not go to any other Wickes, there are other shops like Screwfix who are much more efficient and definitely not rude.i was bounced between four members of staff during the entire process.

Had a kitchen measure up and never had someone so rude in my house. Wicks have lost themselves a sale.

I had purchased some large slabs and upon collection from store i noticed that one of them were damaged, cracked right down the centre. Although they couldnt get any replacements out of store at the time meaning that i had to make a seperate journey next day they did discount the order. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Poor customer service.
I visited the Wicks store in South Ruislip over a week ago.
I was under the impression the store started trading at 7am, it was now 7.10am I stood outside with 4 of their customers waiting for the store to open. After 4 minutes I realised customers were leaving the store with their purchases, I had to ask one of their customers leaving how they got into the store, a man showed us how to manually force the doors open to gain entry, this was all happening while there were 2 staff on the customer service desk, right by the doors.
Once inside I enquired about an item I had seen online and was told it had gone up in price overnight, that was no problem,so I asked if there was anything like that, that was on offer. I felt like a spare part standing there after having to ask a couple of times and receiving hardly any acknowledgement I left the store. As I left there was still customers standing outside waiting for the doors to open!
My experience shopping in that store was very poor, I would never use or recommend shopping in that store, they obviously don't need my money, or money from anyone else! I sent a complaint to Wicks on the same day, no response!
