Hoodie ordered on the 10th of December, notified the same day that the colourway was out of stock so I agreed to a different colour. I emailed a week later to enquire as to its status and received the following response on 17 Dec.
“ Hi Mike, this has been sent from Carhartt Amsterdam on 5-8 working days delivery and is currently processing customs, should be with you before the end of this week.

As the Hoodie was a Christmas gift to my partner I was now satisfied it would arrive in time. Today, December 20 I received this email.
“ Hi Mike, sorry we have another issue with your order as the alternative colour has now gone on back order and Carhartt only just made us aware, would either navy, apple butter heather, fog blue or marmalade heather be suitable to dispatch, we have these colours in our warehouse so can be dispatched straight away.

This means that I was lied to about the item being already being processed by customs and having been dispatched and has now left me with no time to buy my partner a gift that will arrive in time. I’m so angry that I would be lied to in this way with the email on the 17th clearly stating that the item had been sent. I even enquired to make sure that this would not happen. Awful, awful service. I’m sure worknation will state that the items are shipped by Carhartt and this is out of thier control etc but the fact remains that the email told me the item had been shipped and it hadn’t, some transparency would be been appreciated from the start so that I could have made an informed decision and made another purchase when I it was obvious the item was delayed. I called WN today and did receive an instant refund so I will acknowledge this , however the fact remains they lied to a customer no matter how they want to word it.

Hi, apologies for the confusion, we were given a tracking number for a pallet of stock from Carhatt that had cleared customs, that we mistakenly believed your item was on, however when the pallet arrived with us today and was checked it appeared not to be. Hence our email to you offering only colours that we physically stock in our warehouse and could guarantee would be with you Monday latest.

Hi Adrian, apologies for the delay with your item. The Emma brand you have purchased is sent direct from the manufacturer in Poland, so we quote 5-8 working days for the delivery. Some how Amazon has allowed you to purchase express delivery which we do not offer on this brand. I will contact Amazon to look into this and have refunded the express delivery you paid.
The item should arrive in the UK and clear customs on Monday hopefully and you should receive notification from UPS / Amazon that your item has been scanned and it will be delivered the next day, hopefully Tuesday / Wednesday latest.
Apologies for the confusion with Amazon and the express shipping, I will look into this now.
The boots you have purchased are amazing, I hope you love them and thank you for your patience.

Lazy company with no stock but they…
Lazy company with no stock but they make out Asif they have stock but really they have to order from other company’s so you wait weeks for the item to actually be dispatched. This company is a drop ship style company. When ordering you get an automated dispatch email saying they’re getting it ready but the reality is they don’t actually have it on stock. They’re sourcing it from other company’s. It’s lame. Avoid.

Hi Jon, thanks for your review, however it is factually incorrect. Approximately 60% of our orders are dispatched direct from our UK warehouse the same day, which has substantial stock holding. The other 40% are dispached direct from the manufacturer. We have over 146,000 lines on our website, so only keep the core range here in the UK, due to space and cost limitations. We are extremely clear about this, our website has a large banner at the top requesting you get in touch prior to ordering if your order is urgent and to check the delivery tab. Our delivery tab is very clear about the delivery expectations for the brands we sell.
This is normal business practise for most internet companies. Even companies like Next and John Lewis have the items delivered direct from the manufacturer on occasions.
I hope this clarifies.

Do not spend big money for very poor customer service, because that is what you receive from Workwear Nation

Hi Howard, we sent you an email on the 30th October the date you placed your order as unfortunately the size you ordered in the boots are out of stock therefore we offered a different style or if you are happy to place the order on back order, we hadn't heard back from our email therefore the boots were placed on a back order, we have now cancelled the order for you as requested. Regarding ourselves holding stock we have a warehouse and showroom however we currently sell close to 40 brands therefore we cannot hold stock of every item as this would be physically impossible, we do have a delivery tab on our website advising of estimated deliveries depending on which brand you purchase, there is also a banner at the top of our website advising customers to check our delivery tab prior to ordering. As advised we have now processed a full refund for your order.

Your service was excellent despatched within a day but unfortunately you used EVRI to deliver which took 9 days after 3 failed deliveries as they were trying to deliver out of hours when the office was shut

Carhartt tool belt
Ordered a Carhartt tool belt from Workwear Nation. Arrived after a while and is not the same product as advertised. Much poorer quality, less pockets and no hammer hook like shown in the photo. Customer Service arguing about the product as if I don’t have the wrong product in my hand. Do not recommend.

Very poor customer service/delivery.
I ordered a pair of boots on a Thursday and by the following Tuesday there was still no update on the tracking. I contacted workwear nation through email and they said the boots were still in picking so realistically I won’t have them till the end of the week. It doesn’t take a week to send some boots within the uk and it certainly doesn’t take over 3 days to pick them off a shelf. I asked to cancel the whole order as I’ll go elsewhere and they said they can’t cancel it. First and last time I’ll use this website for anything .
