First experience : Ordered one bluray there. After one month, emails came : one informing me that the bluray is unavailable ( but if course it is not the fault of cdjapan.co.jp... ), second email from PayPal informing of a reimbursment of the original payment. The problem is that they sell things they don't have (it's called 'short sells' and is illegal) + need one full month to declare that they won't deliver so that when they reimbursed in another currency like in my case in euro, I lost money in addition to disappointment and wasted time!
When you ask them for reparation, it is again not their responsability...

I placed an order with CDJapan recently and, like usual, the entire experience was quick and easy. I've been a CDJapan customer for more than 15 years now and they have never given me any reason to complain. All of my orders (typically CDs) have arrived in a timely manner and they take great care with the packaging so I've never received any damaged products. If something does come up with an order, they contact you right away and explain the situation clearly. For example, if a CD has an extra item added to it that changes the weight of the package, CDJapan lets you know about any increase in the shipping charge. They also have a nice rewards program where you earn points for each order, during your birthday month, survey completion points after an order has shipped, etc. You can then use these points as discounts on future orders. They also offer coupons quite frequently. All of those elements combined make for a wonderful shopping experience.

CDJapan is a superb store. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and efficient, and the customer service is second to none. Items are always well-packaged and dispatched quickly. I'd have no hesitation in recommending CDJapan to anyone.

I've been using their services for 10 years now, mainly for cds, limited edition goodies and books and I've always been satisfied. They are quick and take great precautions with the packages. I never received a damaged item.
Their customer service is very nice, helpful and patient in their answers. The only problems I encounter if ever are from my side of the ocean and the local post.

I just received my cd compilation from the FMA anime series last week and it is in perfect condition. It was very helpful to be able to pay the VAT directly at the time of order to avoid the raises from my local services in my own currency.

I've made over 100 orders over the last 5 years using CD Japan. They have never made an error with any of my orders. Their website is very user friendly.
CD Japan has a really large selection of Japanese Magazines, DVDs and CDs. They also carry "english language" albums that are custom releases that are not released in the USA. So if you are a music fan, or like Japanese magazines, they have you covered. They also sell clothing and a ton of other things. Their shipping is first class. You'll never be disappointed with the quality of service that you receive from CD Japan.

First I live in Mexico, is very hard obtain cds of great manufacture like the japanise , its easy buy in the page , and pay is easy too . The cds or dvds are carefull put in your box . Always come in 100 % perfect.
