We were a salesman's delight. The vehicle was the one we really wanted and therefore put us at a disadvantage regarding any deals. There would have been ample opportunity to explain in advance where extra costs might be incurred on top of the purchase price (namely a tracker device and gas bottles for our motorhome). I also asked about any marks or damage on the vehicle before purchasing (owing to being a significant distance away from Chelston and unable to view the vehicle before agreeing to buy) this was immediately evident when first seeing it (advertising pictures were conspicuously absent regarding this issue). Sometimes it's the little extras that help to make a first time massive purchase like a motorhome extra special. Clearly this wasn't evident on this occasion.
The staff at Chelston and on the phone were very friendly though.

We brought a new motor home from Chelston in 2021.
That part was easy.
It has taken over two years to get all the main outstanding warrantee work completed. We can understand this to a certain level as ADRIA have been very slow at getting parts to the UK. But it is the complete lack of communication from Chelston. They never call back and avoid incoming calls. When they say they've ordered parts and then you chase them up AGAIN three weeks latter because we've not heard anything, they say "oh yes we need to order that don't we".
We still have a small warranty job outstanding from November 2023 and we have not heard a dicky bird from them. I'm going to do it myself.
There is no sense of urgency or customer support.
I hope never to go there again.

Great service from the moment we decided to change our motorhome. On exchange day, the staff were excellent and the new vehicle brief was very thorough. We havnt had a chance to use the new van yet but are very pleased so far.

Servicing side first class very helpful sorted things out checking to make sure all OK

Big thank you to Chelston Motorhomes for my purchase of Campervan . Martyn leaf ( sales ) and Paul bright ( Technical workshop ) have been excellent in my initial order and throughout the process from start to finish with all my questions and requirements when we picked up the Campervan . I hope this excellent level of service will continue in the future for works and services etc that will be required at some point .
To clarify, overall experience was excellent and huge thanks again . Been a pleasure to purchase from this dealership.

Buyer beware. Don’t buy second hand from here, despite warranty etc the after sales is appalling horrible people to deal with. Once they have your money on the sale they are not interested in on going support and service. Will never go back for another motorhome. Unprofessional and shoddy workmanship overseen by an after sales manager who doesn't care. Avoid

Shocking aftercare.
Made the mistake of booking our van in for a service, was returned with more things wrong then when it was dropped off.
When I brought it to the attention of the service team they honestly couldn’t care less.
Save yourself some stress and locate another dealer.

won't ever recommend this place with the staff attitude and lack of professionalism. just thought i would pop down and see how much a roll of wire was. the shop guy disappeared before i could ask him. the 'salesman' clueless as to what wiring is, kept on about electric hookup when i clearly asked 3 times for rolls of wiring for usbs etc which they incidently don't sell in a campervan accessories shop? then he proceeds to tell me thats only available in the parts shop that doesn't open the weekend and isn't an actual shop, like in a garage. what? he had absolutely no intention of being helpful with snide comments from the off. 
even the website is useless, opening times different on different pages, live chat don't actually answer your question and are just interested in getting your email so they can spam you. loyalty card page doesn't work.
tried to tell the guy the website didn't work and he gives more snide comments ending in
"we obviously aren't the shop for you"
yeah no one else either, I'm certain.

Collected our Motorhome today from Chelston Motorhomes, this is our second purchase from them. Great service from initial enquiry to purchase & handover. Would highly recommend this company.

Terrible dealer. Nice as pie when buying but foul as as soon as your cheque clears. They short delivered on the product and uninterested in repairing faults.

Fantastic Customer Service!
Having had the solar panel and satellite dish blow off the top of our Motorhome, which also damaged parts of the roof and made a hole in the skylight. My partner, Paul, took the van to Chelston who contacted the manufacturers, Autotrail, on our behalf as the van was less than 2 years old. Following their contact, with photos etc of the damage and their engineer's report, Autotrail have agreed to pay for all replacement parts and the labour involved and this was all organised in less than a week.
Amazing customer service, and especial thanks to Jade, who co-ordinated it for us.
