One star customer service
One star — poor stock control and communication
I ordered a coffee table which the retailer confirmed was available and booked for delivery on 24 September. On the delivery date, the courier advised that it had never received the item.
After repeated chasing, the retailer eventually confirmed that the table had never actually been available due to an error in its stock count. A replacement was then ordered, with new stock expected on 17 October, but no delivery date could be confirmed.
Communication throughout has been poor and I have repeatedly had to chase for substantive updates. The retailer has acknowledged the inconvenience and mentioned a possible goodwill gesture, but says this will only be considered after delivery is completed.
In my experience, confirming stock and arranging delivery for an item that was not actually available, followed by weeks of uncertainty and repeated chasing, falls well below the standard I would expect.

This is certainly not the experience we want our customers to have, and we understand how frustrating it must be to have to repeatedly chase for updates after being given an expected delivery date.
We can confirm that the replacement stock is still expected to be ready with us on 17th October (tomorrow). As soon as the goods arrive with us, we’ll pass them to our delivery team so they can contact you and arrange delivery as soon as possible.
We’re genuinely sorry for the delay in communication and for the inconvenience caused while we’ve been working to find a solution. We appreciate your patience and will do our best to get your coffee table delivered as quickly as possible.
Terrible experience
I’ve ordered a dining table, 6chairs and coffee table. Two chairs came damaged and when I called they said to send photos and when I did they said dial 2 and hung my call . His name was Chris . Then another lady called Darcey answered and told me to upload photos which I did , then she send another email asking for the number which I did and I haven’t got any response and I called back and I was out on hold for sometime when I asked for Darcey then she said my chairs will be delivered soon . She don’t even know when apparently someone will call me . I have to pay someone again to dismantle and then to assemble a new chair . IKEA has got better customer service than them . Their online marketing techniques works for them short time , eventually it will collapse . I am a developer building block of flats in hampsted london and this is for the show flat which they failed me . So I have cancelled the sofa which was due to arrive in November . I know after all “Employees “ as just “Employees “ working for the wages and they don’t care however management needs to get a grip !

We’d like to clarify that our Customer Care team operates within a 6–24-hour service level agreement for case updates. Having reviewed your case, we can see that the issue was reported on the 14th and that a proposed resolution, including replacement chairs, was provided on the 15th.
At present, it appears that we’re waiting for confirmation that you’re happy to proceed with the proposed replacements before the goods can be dispatched. We understand that you’re keen to get this resolved as quickly as possible, and we’re sorry if this wasn’t made clear during your previous communications.
We’ve passed your feedback regarding your interactions with our team to the Customer Care management team and have asked a member of the team to contact you to confirm the replacement details and next steps.
We appreciate the inconvenience this situation has caused and are sorry that your experience has fallen short of the service we aim to provide. We hope to get the replacement chairs arranged for you as soon as possible.

Very good service from ordering to delivery. Kept well informed on the details of delivery and when they would be delivered boxes were a little bit damaged but the goods were in perfect condition so we are very happy 😊

Exceptional service
We had a great experience with our online purchase. We were not able to visit the showroom so with the assistance of Cindy and providing a few pictures of our room, Cindy quickly provided images of what their sofas and furniture would look like in our space. The service was promptly received and we felt comfortable in making this purchase online without any pressure.
