The store staff were very helpful,knowledgeable and friendly. My only criticism is the charge for putting mattress in bedroom.especially as they were taking old one away. I thought it was a bit excessive

My new mattress

Assistant very informative The body scanner an excellent idea choosing the right bed for me. Email updates letting me know date and time my mattress would arrive. Delivery on time, my only concern was for the chap who carried the mattress on his own up a flight of stairs and into the bedroom knowing how heavy it was. I am now getting a good nights sleep.

Awful service. The staff member who served us, Spandana, made two mistakes (assembly was omitted and no selection of delivery timing was offered) concerning delivery. Beware: they charge individual fees for each aspect of delivery: delivery itself, emplacement in the room, assembly and timing selection. On telephoning the shop the day before delivery, these mistakes were identified. The manager, Tej, neither acknowledged the responsibility of the team ('My staff are normally well-trained') nor offered to rectify it. Instead, she passive-aggressively implied that it was our fault for not spotting the mistakes between date of order and date of delivery. She wanted to charge us full price to add assembly and notified us that the addition would delay delivery by three weeks. I chose to keep the existing arrangements in place, re-arrange my work schedule to accommodate the arbitrary delivery timing (middle of the working day) and take time in the evening to assemble it myself.

Having worked in the sector previously myself, I understand the temptation to deny professional responsibility, sweep under the carpet and avoid personal accountability in the organisation in terms of monthly sales targets and profit margins. Nevertheless, a mature view (looking at long-term reputation, word-of-mouth and customer loyalty) would have prompted good listening skills, acknowledgement of fault ('I am sorry for that mistake' goes a long way) and an offer to add assembly free-of-charge. That would have easily dealt with the complaint and impressed with good service. As it was, all it did was motivate this customer to take yet more time to warn other customers publicly about this experience.

Overall: if you want a smooth experience, stay away.

Good efficient service quick delivery

Bought my first decent bed frame and matress in a few years now from Dreams...Explained that i suffer from lower back pain ...sales staff were lovely and the delivery staff (Charlie and Thomas) went above and beyond ...cant recommend enough

Helpful staff in shop and delivery drivers

After a horrible experience from Bensons for Beds which has left us sleeping on the floor for 8 weeks the service we have received from Dreams was brilliant, the sales associate helped me choose the perfect mattress and it was delivered bang on time, the team that delivered and assembled the bed were really polite and got it done in no time at all.

Helpful staff, very efficient delivery and removal of old mattress. Hassle free.

The shop assistant was very helpful and gave me lots of advice. I went into the store 2 days in a row and she gave me a pillow and left me to try the beds out for as long as I liked.
I did not have to wait too long for delivery. The delivery man gave me a 2 hour time slot the night before and they phoned me 15 minutes before they got there.
