Avoid Eden Tyres Leicester at All costs – Unprofessional, Rude and Threatening

I visited Eden Tyres in Leicester for a complimentary check on tyres, battery, and tracking – a service that should’ve been simple, clear, and helpful. What I got instead was a deeply uncomfortable, unprofessional, and downright intimidating experience.

The technician informed me I needed a new drop link and shock absorber, but I had to push hard just to get basic answers, such as:
• “Can I have a quote, please?”
• “Is my car safe to drive?”

There was zero explanation or transparency. He would walk off without a word, then return and say nothing — I had to constantly chase him for information. When I asked if my rear driver-side tyre had been inflated, he dismissed it and tried to claim my dashboard sensor was incorrect. I literally had to persuade him to do his job and check it.

After he said he’d made adjustments, I checked my dashboard — now all four tyres were set to different pressures, and he had reset the pressure system without my consent, meaning my safety alerts are now incorrectly calibrated.

He seemed irritated by my questions, constantly drinking an energy drink and offering no customer service whatsoever. When I finally asked again for a quote, he mumbled a price and then suddenly added that another part was needed on the passenger side — something he conveniently forgot to mention earlier. When I asked why this wasn’t explained at the start, he became immediately aggressive, saying he no longer wanted my business and walked away mid-conversation.

When I calmly told him I’d be leaving a review, he threatened me, saying “If you do, I know where you live.”

Let that sink in: I went in for a basic check and walked out threatened. This garage is not just unprofessional — it’s intimidating, aggressive, and completely unsafe to deal with. The man in question refused to give his name but was:
• Ginger, bearded, overweight, about 6ft tall, and
• Drinking energy drinks throughout the interaction

This is not a professional garage. It felt more like a rough backstreet setup, with zero customer care, half-truths, and hostility when questioned. I strongly advise anyone to avoid Eden Tyres Leicester, especially if you value clear information, your safety, and basic human decency

Excellent service, online order and AM time slot same day at home address.
Great value for money probably £9 more expensive than going to garage myself.
So definitely worth that.

Really efficient and friendly. We had a tyre for a Landrover that had a puncture. Not straight forward as it needed a new inner tube. 4 other tyre places in Derby wouldn’t help. Eden said yes straight away. Thank you for great service , price and communication. Won’t go anywhere else now.

The receptionist is so lovely!
I speak quite quickly so she wrote my number down wrong but managed to dial every number to find me which she managed!

I was in for front brake pads as a warning came up, dropped the car off and was told it was ready very quickly, then when I got there was told it was only a sensor that had snapped which they fixed.

Reliable as always. I know I’ll get great service at Derby ETS. Other branches are closer but I’m confident of the service delivered at Derby.

I popped in for a replacement tyre last week, they ordered me a tyre to be fitted the next day. When I turned up the following day to have it fitted, Dean told me the tyre was repairable !! To my delight, he saved me some cash, but more than this he was honest and the service offered was done so with integrity. Not many businesses operate like this so they get a huge thumbs up from me. Always a good place to take your car for jobs big or small. I’ve been going here for 6+ years and service has always been spot on, no hard sell or unnecessary extra add ons. Great staff who advise and tell you what’s been carried out or what may need doing.

Well to start with the staff are very helpful and friendly and the coffee is good also!
Opted for four new tyres - Radar Dimax R8 in 245 35 R19 for my Audi A4 and they are great!
