From our very first enquiry to moving into our new home we’ve been really happy with how everything has been with Elan. Andrea has been brilliant, always on hand, communication has always been great and she’s always been really helpful. She has made the whole process go as smoothly as possible. Dave has also been a really friendly face and on hand for any help that’s needed. We love our new home!

We have had an amazing experience with Tower Gardens in Darwen. Cannot thank you Collette enough, she has definitely put us at ease with buying our first home with a wealth of knowledge. The process has been smooth and fast paced & we haven’t experienced any issues during our process. I would definitely recommend going with their choice of solicitors & mortgage advisor as they have also been amazing & ensured we were always up to date! Andrea in the sales office has been brilliant from the very beginning, keeping us updated from our initial interest in the house right through to moving in. She has provided excellent customer service throughout, always being friendly, personable and happy to answer any questions we’ve had.
Dave, the site manager, has also been great and has been very helpful in dealing with any issues and making sure everything is sorted.
Overall, we’ve been really impressed with the level of service and support we’ve received from the team. A big thank you to Andrea and Dave for making the whole experience so positive. We would definitely recommend Elan Homes!

Elan Homes Customer Care Team have been excellent
in enabling us to enjoy our purchase over the past 12 months.
Under their two year warranty, every understandable minor issue has been immediately resolved without question, in a prompt, sympathetic and friendly manner.
Katie exemplified this by arranging an electrician to cure a short circuit within just three hours.

We are housing association tenants and we moved into a new two bedroom house built by Elan on the estate that Elan built in Glastonbury. We moved in at the beginning of 2024 and have had really bad drainage problems in the back garden as the soil is not fit for purpose,it gets very boggy very quickly. In all the properties I’ve lived in I’ve never seen anything this bad. We provided Elan photographs and a video of how bad it is when we moved in and have raised this well within the snags you can report in the first year before it’s handed over to the housing association. The soil is that bad the fence post connected to the gate has sagged to the point where we have two bits of wood nailed to the post and had to move the locking bolt onto them to lock the gate.
Also the estate is a mess, pot holes tarmac not level with any curb, the curbs have been set too high, small drain covers and manholes sticking up on the pavements which are a trip hazard. Loads of people on the estate including myself complained to our local MP in Glastonbury. We all promptly received a letter from elan full of empty promises,only thing I think they have done is sort the drains around the estate and finally have just finished the children’s park in 2026,other than that we are all sill waiting. Also people that we’ve spoken too who bought there houses have also had loads of problems. I definitely would not recommend Elan for anything. It’s a shame you can’t put photos on here as you need to see how bad it is. Every time we get friends around for the first time or Livewest maintenance they always comment how bad the estate looks.

If I could give the review of Elan Homes less than 1 I would have happily done so.
What should have been our dream home that we have worked very hard towards for many years has turned out to be what I could only describe as something that feels like it's been taken out of a cheap flat pack and put up incorrectly in various ways.
Since moving in we have been faced with a multitude of problems from swimming pools of water coming into out integral garage, damages from the flooring company to kitchen cabinets, incorrectly laid turf in gardens, leaks from upstairs bathrooms and many many more. The workmanship and finish on the property has no attention to detail and or care taken to make this feel like a newly built home and rather feels like a home someone lived in for 10 years prior to ourselves.

The wort part is Elan are very good at promoting the world when going through the purchasing stage so they can take your hard earned money, but when contacting Elan customer care regarding problems you are treated like something they have wiped off their feet, there is a constant battle to get anything resolved and in most cases tell you that they have done what they need to and followed recommended standards (which they haven't in all cases) and in some cases even employ blackmailing tactics (we will resolved one problem if you forget about the other). The way Elan treat their customers after sale is literally nothing short of disgusting.

If anyone is reading this to buy a new home m far below the required quality for a new home then absolutely look at Elan but if you are looking to buy a home of at least a good standard or above look elsewhere.

From start to finish our experience has been absolutely fantastic, Michelle from Sales has kept in touch with us every week from the day we reserved our forever home. The finish of the house and the customer service altogether, I would not recommend anywhere else to buy your forever home. A huge thank you Michelle for making this such a successful easy move for us with part-ex.

Elan have been so easy to deal with throughout our home buying process. Andrea made the process really smooth and was always on hand to help. We love the house and are really impressed with the quality and attention to detail, which is far superior to the last newbuild we bought from another builder. Great company to deal with at all stages from sales through to delivery. Would absolutely recommend.

From the moment we walked through the door at Oak Grange congleton we were made to feel at ease by the superb sales assistant Michelle. She was so knowledgeable and keen to understand our needs for our forever home. No pressure, no hidden agendas just complete love for the job to ensure we found our dream home. Elan have been amazing and I would definitely recommend to family and friends if they are ever looking for a new build in the future

We recently reserved a new build home at Garrett Hall Fields and Colette has been fantastic throughout the reservation process so far. She has been incredibly helpful in securing extras for us, quick to respond to any questions, and always friendly and professional.

If there’s ever anything she’s unsure of, she always looks into it and gets back to us quickly. Nothing has ever felt like too much trouble, and she has made the whole process feel far less stressful and much more enjoyable.

We have lived on Rosewood Gardens for over two years with many more people on the development for double that.
What an mess we have been left in, building rumble and waste left for months on end , unfinished roads and paths , unmaintained grass areas and play ground.
Its got that bad that yesterday some of the kids parents were cutting the grass verges and playground themselves!
The only communication we have had is an odd letter from year to year.
I have sent numerous pictures and emails on many occasions but I am either ignored completely or get a stock answer back which is not even relevant to my query.
Many of our neighbours have also not had a response - this is really poor and we all feel let down.

We have lived on the Rosewood Garden estate in Warton for over 2 years and in that time the estate has been completely neglected by elan homes and is getting worse by the day. The grounds and play park which are supposed to be maintained have been left overgrown and looking an utter mess. There is a large pile of bricks, garden waste and other debris left at the end of the road since we oved in. The roads are part completed and now the company doing this work seems to have disappeared. When residents email Elan they are simply ignored or left without a response for weeks on end. If you are considering Elan for your next purchase please think carefully. They have been non existent to residents here since the building works have been completed and we have been left living in a complete mess.

After reading your response I felt I had to write back as this is just lip service. The estate is a total mess and this weekend residents had to maintain the gardens at the playground themselves as it was so overgrown and had been left by the so called maintenance company you have employed. When we originally moved into our property we had a lovely stream facing us but this has not been touched by anyone in over 2 years and is now like a jungle. When we have raised this previously we were fobbed off and told it was a nature reserve. Utterly ridiculous!! You just don't want to pay to maintain this. How I wish I had never bought this property and I would urge anyone who is thinking of buying an Elan home to come and look at the mess they have left this estate in before proceeding with their purchase.

My partner and I went to see the show house on Firday which is absolutely beautiful, and after viewing several other properties restored our motivation in buying a property.
Collette was so friendly, and informative that my partner and I decided there and then this was the house for us.
It makes such a big difference to have someone who is so approachable, and actually listens and understands a person requirements.

We have had excellent service and communication from Collette at Garrett Hall Fields and she has made the process of reserving our plot and starting the part exchange very straight forward. Really fast communication even responding to emails early mornings and late nights to get things resolved quickly!
