We moved into our Ripley home a little over a week ago and we are so happy with our lovely house. We used Elans recommended solicitors for conveyancing for both sale and purchase. We reserved our house (already built) on 9th August and moved in on 29th September! Afew snags here and there but George the site manager has been very attentive and resolved most of them already. We are really happy with the quality of our house and quality of the service we have received. Collette is lovely and nothing was too much trouble for her and would answer any queries whatever time of day! We also received a lovely hamper from Elan when we moved in which was a nice touch! 10/10!

We bought our first home through Elan Homes at their Whittingham Fold site in Goosnargh. Tracey and Colin could not have been more helpful and made the process of purchasing our first home exceptional. We can not praise Tracey and Colins enough.

Recently visited a property with Elan, it was beautifully presented spacious home and the agent on site (Frankie) was very helpful, patient and friendly. She provided a lot of helpful information and took the time to answer any questions that we had. A very pleasant and informative experience overall.

Recently purchased a 3-bedroom detached property at the Elan Homes development in Southport.

We purchased in March 2023, during build, and were initially told late June or July 2023 to move in. Move in date occured on the last day of July 2023 (a Monday) so technically the target was met but only just. This appears to be a common experience for other movers we have spoken to.

At the time of purchasing (Feb 2023) the value of the home was very good for the features and location. The quality of the home has been very good so far after moving in, with primarily cosmetic snags and not that many of them.

The immediate after-sales care has been excellent, with the site manager and sales representative being very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Shout out to George for being fantastic!
To start with reported snags were resolved very quickly.

After a certain point, customer support and snag resolution is provided by a back office team, and we're now seeing longer response times, though nothing egregious so far.

We used the mortgage broker and solicitor recommended by Elan Homes during our purchase. No major comments positive or negative on the broker, but the solicitor, while friendly and responsive, provided us with some incorrect information that caused confusion at times.

The front facing gardens on the site and our property appear to have been laid with wood chippings and decorative plants, but without initially priming the ground with weed killer and a base sheet. Weeds seem to be a recurring issue.

Overall, Elan Homes seem to have offered a well built home at a good price in a great location.
The purchasing experience has not been perfect but I would recommend others to consider this developer.

I bought a property at the Balmoral Gardens development at Southport. The build quality is very good however the after sale care is very bad. I have 3 issues requested back in April to be resolved. 1 item was repaired after 3 months with constant chasing and relatively zero communication from elan homes. The other 2 items are yet to be addressed with no communication provided on when they will be addressed.

Further to my previous complaints, I've now raised this with the local MP, who has confirmed that the lack of finishing or maintenance on the open space at Ravenfield Close, Culcheth is now being investigated as a potential breach of planning.

Thank you for your email dated 30 May 2023 in respect of the concerns of your constituent, regarding the completion of public open space at Ravenfield Close, Culcheth.

This will be investigated as an alleged breach of planning control and an update provided when the matter has been reviewed.

Further to your email dated 30 May 2023 and additional email of 31 July 2023, an investigation has been registered to ascertain if there has been a breach of planning control.

As expected, Warrington council is dragging its heals. However, the Planning department was supposed to meet with residents over a year ago and then, without any explanation, they decided not to meet anyone.

I'll await further updates from Elan or the council. In the meantime, they continue to take both our council tax and maintenance fees.

Rosie was excellent very knowledgable and personnable, she discussed the options with us in detail and provided the information we need to make a decision.

Tracey at Elan Homes@Whittingham Fold is a fantastic asset. I really appreciate the way she went above and beyond to secure us one of their lovely houses, even though we didnt proceed in the end,she was by far the best sales advisor we came across during our search.

I have recently purchased a beautiful new build house on Balmoral Gardens in Churchtown.
It was a pleasant experience from start to finish being helped and supported by the sales managers Ken and Collette.
George, a site manager has been so helpful dealing with any issues that occur with a new build.
I would highly recommend Elan Homes for their friendly and exceptional customer relations.
